Je suis une cliente de longue date du Dr. Marku et je n'ai que des éloges à faire à son sujet. C'est un vétérinaire très professionnel dans les soins qu'il prodigue et toujours aimable avec ses clients et doux avec les animaux. Il a ma confiance la plus absolue et je le recommande fortement. Son jugement pour poser un dianostic s'appuie sur ses longues années d'expérience, sans qu'il lui soit nécessaire de procéder à une panoplie de tests : il sait faire la distinction entre ce qui est urgent, nécessaire ou ce qu'il convient de faire en fonction d'une séquence logique de tests à administrer. Il sait prendre des décisions responsables. Son équipe est attentionnée et efficace. Sa clinique et son équipement sont modernes et les animaux qui doivent séjourner dans sa clinique sont bien logés. Tout est ultra propre. As for the very few negative comments I have read on this site, I think everyone is entitled to have a bad day once in while. This being said, I highly recommend this clinic.

Going to a Vet can be worrisome, just like going to a garage, but this clinic changed our view. The quality of service was outstanding, even a little too much where I felt bad for everything they did and included. Like regular calls to keep us informed, accessories, care, boarding, etc.
We were referred to this place by a family member, he had also received outstanding service which is rare for him to say.
Our cat broke and dislocated it's hind leg.
The kind of situation where you're stuck with a decision, that usually comes with a hefty price tag. Choosing a clinic for an intervention/surgery vs a checkup/vaccine isn't the same thing. This Animal Hospital is equipped and able to take proper care of our little ones, without the price gouging, and emotional sales tactics.
Just like that rare honest car mechanic everyone looks for, we found that veterinarian clinic.

Went in for cat dental work. Ended up paying half of what I was quoted. First two assistants were lost, and confused. One kept correcting herself when I asked questions, very, very, very slow (physically and intellectually)... Third assitant I got was sharp, informative, and went above and beyond to make sure I had all the necessary information. She calculated the food's $/kg, food intake/kg in order to determine exact dosage adjustement and exact cost I needed to make to his diet. Some teeth fell off during surgery, they were honest and didn't charge me the extraction. They called 24h after the surgery to check up on the cat. As usual, very satisfied. However, some of the staff needs to step it up.

The staff do try to sell you the food they carry. As a person stated earlier, Dr Marku does not do any unecessary testing BUT sometimes it is necessary and he chooses not to do it and your animal comes 2 inches to dying and needing emergency surgery. Rude in front of other clients if you go back because the pills he gave did not work. Telling me that my dog has tummy issues and I knew this when I adopted her so it will not get better, it will always be like this (meanwhile he saw that she had blood in her stools he just said she has an ulcer even if a few days prior x-rays showed an obstruction).What an IDIOT! Thanks to DMV and credit, we saved her life but not without lifelong complications which would have been prevented if he had taken it more seriously. If you have an animal with a pre-existing condition, no matter how small it is - do not go there. Dre Marku will just say that the ailments they have are due to their pre existing condition and not take it seriously.

I think that Dr. Marku is one of the very best veterinarians there is on the island of Montreal. He usually does not do unnecessary testing when not needed and cuts right to the chase. He had found the exact right formula for my diabetic cat when two other veterinarians had said that there was no hope. He is dedicated, not money hungry and really is thoughtful towards the animal and their owners. He really tries to look for solutions. Keep up the good work!!!!

It is true that the fees are a bit lower at this clinic compared to the other ones but I really don't the attitude of Dr Marku. He doesn't answer to our questions and he is very impatient. I have the right to ask all the questions even though he might get annoyed, I need to understand everything related to the surgery of my cat!! He charged us extra fees for nothing just to make more money which I do not appreciate. Other than that, he always forgets what he says.. one day he tells me something and the other day, he says the complete opposite. Plus, he doesn't respect his words, the said that he isn't going to charge x, y fees for my cat, but finally he did.... When I asked him why did you charge me this, he replied that he never said that.. whatever I don't wanna argue with him.. I'm just gonna to change for another vet.. Not satisfied at all...

Absolutely amazing service from both Dr.Jamarillo and Natalie, the receptionist and technician. They have the up most compassion for both the pet and the owner. They are considerate and take the time to explain in detail what it is your pet has. What a wonderful feeling to know my Fur Baby is in excellent hands!

Great service! Even though it's hard for Dr. Marku to communicate in english, he always finds a way to make me understand what's happening. He saved my Gucci from parvo on an emmergency call at 1 in the morning and I will always be greatful about that. The staff is great, the services are affordable, the doctor is kind with the animals he treats. Thank you again to the clinic's team!!

Si vous cherchez qualité/prix, cette clinique n'est pas pour vous... Le proprio semble correct mais l'autre véto je le déconseille fortement, allez y pour des trucs de base mais pas plus!!

Excellente clinique, tout le monde est sympathique, l'accueil excellent avec un service d'urgence au besoin. Dr Marku est très consciencieux, très professionnel, chaleureux et très doux envers les animaux. Mon chien adore Dr Marku !

The staff is unfriendly, and uninformed. I went to bring my dog to get spayed today and the new secretary did not tell me that if my dog was in heat it would cost additional charges. Firstly, my dog is NOT in heat, she was about 2 months ago and was done a month ago. They wanted to charge me 40 $ more because they said that she was, and usually they charge that amount because apparently the procedure is more complicated. I didn't accept to pay the fee because I was unaware of it.To top it off, they didn't take care of my dog all day after her spaying, and when I went to pick up my dog from the vet tonight, she was covered in pee all over her stomach, legs and tail.They did not clean her up or bring her outside for a quick pee. Besides that her cone is way too big, they gave me the biggest cone to make money off me, and the vet did not want to take time for my questions or to show me the blood tests diagnostics that i payed 60$ for. Shame on you Iberville. I liked you til today.

Ce vétérinaire est exceptionnel. Il est euthanasie zéro. Il fera tout pour sauver votre animal et ce, sans vous facturer pour des soins ou des médicaments inutiles. En plus, il fait les urgences 24-7 Faisant du Rescue et ayant un sanctuaire chez moi, mes petits combattants ont une belle fin de vie et ce, sans souffrance. Merci Dr. Marku

I will echo the "best vet ever". We have 2 cats and a dog and have had many emergencies. Dr. Marku and his team have always seen us ASAP, reassured us and taken great care of our companions. They will take the time to listen, understand and consider all options with you. Dr. Marku is passionate, instantly connects with the animals and knows exactly what he is doing. Fees are much lower than other bigger and fancier vet/emergency clinics, yet we have always gotten better service here. We have now moved to Saint Hippolyte but will continue to make the trip as long as we dont find a vet as exceptional - thanks again Clinique Vet Iberville!

C'est mon vétérinaire préféré. Il ne fait pas de tests inutiles et prend vraiment soin des animaux. Quand il fait une euthanasie, c'est que c'est vraiment rendu là, sinon, il refuse. J'apprécie cet éthique-là car c'est ce que je recherche personnellement chez un vet.

It may seem like they have cheaper fees but the vet there sucks at diagnosing. He diagnosed my dog without doing a test or a biopsy instead kept giving him a bunch of antibiotics that werent working AND did an unecessary surgery... I had to take my dog to another vet, who did a biopsy, targeted the problem and gave the RIGHT antibiotic to treat my dogs problem and now hes fine. never going to that vet again.

Quel docteur attentionné et passionné par le bien être des animaux. Il est un homme d'exception et il est réellement rempli de compassion. Il a traîté mon chat comme si c'était le sien, et je ne pourrai jamais le remercier suffisament pour cela. Par dessus tout, il m'a compris et a sû me faire comprendre que l'on doit faire ce qu'il y a de mieux non pas pour nous, mais pour l'animal que nous avons adopté. Je voyage de loin pour venir le voir, car je sais que le service qu'il me rend est hors pair. Je continuerai de le faire pour chacun de mes animaux, car je lui fais entièrement confiance. Aucune autre clinique ne peut même comparer à la Clinique Iberville. Je la recommande à 100%! Comme il a été mentionné, ce docteur prend son temps et n'est tellement pas motivé par les profits. C'est une personne intègre qui exerce son métier car il désire réellement faire une différence dans la vie des animaux. Ça fait du bien, car ça fait changement des autres...

Best Vet EVER. He is open on call 24/7 for emergencies. He is the only vet I know who actually cares about animals instead of making money. His bills remain low compared to what I've had to pay with other vets in the past...he does'nt try to push you into treatments or tests that are'nt necessary. He really knows his stuff...And for a small family run vet clinic, it's quite high tech. It does happen that he runs late in appointments, but that's only because he won't rush you, and will take the time to fully answer any questions you may have. And he is really worth the wait.
