I'm a very overprotective pet parent, so when I moved to the area, I researched a good vet very thoroughly. I'm glad I did so, since I am REALLY happy with this vet. I have seen ton of other vets and this hospital is great! The front desk staff, vet techs and doctors are very friendly. They are very knowledgeable, but also don't try to "up sell" unnecessary things. If my pets don't need it, they don't push it. I have both a dog and cat, both whom get very nervous at the vets office and are probably not the most pleasant to deal with. However, the staff does not let on that they aren't their *favorite* patients. :)
When my dog ate chocolate last christmas, they sqeezed me in on the same day. Thanks to this, I didn't have to spend unexpected big money to the emergency place.
You can definitely find less expensive veterinary offices(maybe up north), but I genuinely believe you get what you pay for. And when it comes to my pets, I'm willing to spend more for excellent service. I cannot

I am sorry to hear some people who may have had unfortunate experiences with Dr. Song? My dog Owen has always had excellent care under Dr. Song. Dr. Song has always been kind, professional, and honest in his opinion and examinations. I always attempt to try to educate myself whenever a dr. or vet offers a diagnostic, and anytime I have had questions or concerns, Dr. Song has been open to discussion and willing to explain or discussion opinions and options. I understand everyone may have different experiences, but mine with Dr. Song has always been exceptional. - Mike and Owen

Dr.Song ? will give you a Song & a dance! At first glance Eddie Song comes across as a really nice fella with his warm smile & soft handshake. However, once one questions his procedures or requires some sort of explanation for why he insist on surgery, a different Dr. Song emerges. He becomes very defensive & starts to back pedal on his diagnosis. He claims to be one of the few vets who has studied abroad & prides himself on this. His state of the art facility has all the bells & whistles built in. One may even be impressed by the presentation which includes flat screen monitors where you can watch your pet being examined from the outside in. It's quite a show of smoke & mirrors that in the end repeatedly takes a bite out of the pocket book. When surgery is the first course of action & Song is quick to have clients spend thousands of dollars for a remedy, & your pet still isn't well, one must question Song's integrity. Simply put, Dr. Song is a crook who cares more about $ than pets.

The main vet, Dr. Song, lies and tries to confuse you. The staff I have no beef with, but when I tried to ask more questions he was very dismissive and just wanted to do treatments 1st without speaking to me. The Dr. kept trying to avoid me and I could tell his staff was covering for him. I had gotten a second opinion else where and found that he truly was lying to me and tried to get me to do surgery when it wasn't needed. Please be careful when coming here. My friend also had come here and he also tried to convince her of surgery for her dogs knee. She got a second opinion and was told that it wasn't needed. This Dr loves to do surgery and wont try the minimal first. BEWARE.

This office examined my 4 month old kitten. They told me that he was healthy but then tried to sell me a laundry list of tests & shots. I thought this was suspect. So I only agreed to what they admitted were the necessary ones. That should have been my first warning sign. But I gave them the benefit of the doubt & scheduled an appointment for them to remove my kitty's front claws. The receptionist said it was important to have a blood test done prior to the procedure to confirm that "everything on his insides was okay before giving him anesthesia". She promised to call me if they found anything questionable before proceeding. Based on this representation, I agreed to pay for this extra test. I was called a few hours later by the doctor to inform me that my kitty was dead, that they lost him on the table. The doctor claimed he didn't know why he died. This procedure was for removing his front claws, not heart surgery. This is so unacceptable. It just broke my heart.

I enjoyed a pleasant experience here. They were able to squeeze me in for the last appt in the day, the whole staff was friendly and efficient, the facility was clean, comfortable, and not as tacky as most veterinary clinics I've been to. They were able to run tests and deliver results quickly, the whole visit was thorough and yet I was on my way in about an hour. I really appreciated the genuine care they showed to my pet, who was misbehaving. I'll definitely be going back if I need to.
