STAY AWAY: Extremely unprofessional staff: Front desk is run by a couple of obnoxious 20-somethings (especially Office Mgr) more interested in showing that they run the place - and gabbing- than the emergency in front of them. Then, in front of customer, discuss what amount should be charged. Also, the vets are so lazy that they instruct the 100 lb girl who is "assistant" to lift an 80 lb dog.
This facility is so poorly run as to be dangerous - which may be why two of the three vets quit on a single day. If you love your pet, please STAY AWAY!

We had been going to this vet for my cats since they were less expensive than other vets in the area, but they kept giving us this doctor who could barely speak English. Then, when my cat was very old and sick and it was recommended that we euthanize him, they actually came into the room while he was dying and asked me to pay for the procedure right there! How cold can you get? At least with a previous cat, Oradell sent me a bill and, surprisingly, it was not as expensive as Emerson. I only gave this vet a two for staff because the one young lady who gave me my cat's ashes when I came to pick them up was very kind.

Dr. did not speak directly to me the owner of the dog, but to the person who was helping me because I have a disability. Went to this vet because I had been told prior to going to Laffaro I would get a discount for my working service dog. The dog was treated for an ear infection and the cost was over $500 and they would not honor the discount I was under the impression I would receive. They would not allow me to be billed in portions and wanted the entire $500-plus upfront either check or credit card. I was not looking for free, just a discount that would make this more afordable. Dr. Laffaro was horrible to talk to about thi, made me feel like I wanted to put him out of business. Will never go back, not only because of the price, but they lied to me and liars cannot be trusted. If they pulled a sleezy act like this on the billing, what else are they capable of lieing about when it comes to my dogs treatment?

We have been going to Dr Lafarro for over 5 years and he is the best. he is very caring and will do what he can for your pet I would highly recommend him. He is not as pricey as oradell altho Oradell just helped my Westie and we are thankful as we were worried we would lose him and he is back to himself again. The staff is very friendly and helpful also so if you want a great Vet go here....
