I have been taking my dog here for a couple of years, and have been happy with the service every time. Dr.Singh knows what he is doing, and he is able to explain quite well to me what is happening to my best friend. The staff is excellent, and they treat my pet with the utmost respect.

I was not impressed with this place. The staff and Dr Singh present themselves as rather cold and uncaring. Consultations and advice is very brief without a genuine regard for the welfare of the animal. I will not go back.

I just move to New West so I've tried this new Vet. I feel like my wallet getting "robbed". The Vet only told me how much i should pay instead of explaining my dog's illness. Not a pleasant experience overall with the staffs and the the Vet. I rather drive further back to Acadia vet next time. Dr. Murray is the one truly care about animals instead of money. Always a positive experience, and I can tell he is really delicate to his profession.

My experience here was very awful. I went to this clinic and he told me my cat was dying of pancreatic cancer due to his dirty teeth. The vet suggested close to $3000.00 worth of work. I was devastated and went for a second opinion. The cat's teeth were fine, and his blood was retested. He did have a minor infection and after a a round of antibiotics he had a clean bill of health.

Have taken all seven of my cats here over the years. Dr. Singh was actually in tears when I had to say goodbye to a cat for the first time; he is very compassionate. Have never felt pressured to spend money on treatments that wouldn't make a difference to my pets' health. Emergencies have happened over the years, and he has done the necessary treatments and let me make payments on my bills. It can sometimes get busy, so pet owners should not be afraid to ask questions of Dr. Singh if they think they are being rushed. He is always willing to talk to pet owners.

I found the staff to be very welcoming and professional. Dr Singh was a bit curt and didn't seem to be really interested in the cat. The diagnosis seemed spot on and our cat is on the mend now, I just didn't appreciate his attitute. Great stuff, a so-so vet with poor bedside manner.

I have mixed feelings about this clinic. I have taken my pets there on a few occasions, the first time I was very happy and satisfied with Dr. Sing and found him to be very friendly and great with my very timid cat. On another occasion he was somewhat the opposite and treated her with a bit of a rough hand which made me feel uncomfortable. He also seems to like to push annual shots which simply are not necessary. Having had many cats and dogs who lived very long healthy lives with few or no shots I personally deem them to be nothing more than money grabbers. However, last July 09 when I called this vet to inquire about the cost of having my very elderly cat who was suffering from kidney failure put to sleep, I was shocked at the disgraceful attitude of the person who took my call. The girl was completely lacking in compassion and extremely rude. For this reason alone I will not take any pet to this clinic again until Dr. Singh gets real and cans her sorry butt.

Dr Singh happens to be the most caring and compassionate doctor I've taken my animals to.the service from him and the staff is top notch.
Affordable and honest services. The building I just moved too highly! Recommends dr Singh i was completely amazed at how he has touched so many people in one place. The people in new west have such high respect for him as a doctor and he is even really friendly outside the clinic and he also supports the high school kids with the school programs and auctions. Truely an amazing doctor and person. And the manager is absolutly wonderful and knowledgeableq

I took my elderly cat here when I first moved to New Westminster because it was close and I didn't have a car. One of the front desk staff was incredibly rude, and the first time my cat needed a blood test, they took her in the back and shut the door. I opened it to see how they were making out with her, and saw they'd actually tied her up! While she wasn't hurt, it was shocking. My poor little girl kept losing weight and getting more and more ill, and when one of their resident cats was killed in the waiting room, I decided to change vets. My cat thrived with the new vet and lived another 4 years until dying at the age of 20. I'm sure she would have died much earlier had I continued to patronise this horrible place.

We went there twice with our newly adopted adult cat. The first time he pushed surgery for what is a lump of fat. The second time she needed a vaccination and gave a small hiss. Before even giving us a chance to take her out ourselves he called in an assistant with the full gloves on, yanked her out, held her down and gave her the shot aggressively. He made the situation far more stressful for the animal that it needed to be (she's a small cat and not that tough). I'm glad to hear other people have had positive experiences but we had just the opposite and are finding a new vet. He didn't seem to even like animals and was very cold.

dr singh is amazing! very compassionate. he saved my dogs life. the staff is also really caring and knowledgable. i am a new client to this this clinic and i would never go to another vet agian. really doesnt matter what is said on here people should go and enjoy the experience themselves. they would be completely impressed and confident that the kids are is great caring understanding staff. truley, thaks so much alpine i can not thank you enough *hugs*

dr singh and staff have done so much good in the community if our local cat shelters trust alpine then so will i he obviously cares about the animals more than money to do charity work for the non profit shelters, he is and always will be best in new west

dr singh is the best vet ive been to in a long time. he is gentle and will put the animals comfort first. his costs are low and will not do extra costs unlike glenbrooke they will rip you off!!

I would just like to say that Dr.Singh and the staff were great when my dog became sick. The prices are alot less than another vets in Burnaby and New Westminster. The one thing that really impressed me was that Dr. Singh never trys to force you to have tests on your pet. The girls were great with my dog even when they had her all day and she was crying for me. I also buy my dog food and sashas blend from the clinic. I would just like to say that I am glad I found a Doctor that cares about animals, and understands that our pets are part of our family. Thank you Dr.Singh & all you girls.

I just recently took my dog to Alpine animal hospital for the 1st time and the front staff were very welcoming and kind.(As were the clinic cats.)Dr.Singh is a great man! He's very friendly i came to know when he told me about his dog Cody. He's a very confident doctor, and has also done a lot of good in New West! The Ladies at the front desk told me about all his great work with the Royal Humane Society by spaying a neutering wild cats. You can tell he really cares about the animals he treats. My dog Casey wont be going to any other vet. Highly recommend Alpine Animal Hospital!

it sounds to me like you people dont care about the quality of service you are getting from dr.singh.you only care about what your having to pay for your animal!!!and you dont wonder why the other clinic will do it for that much cheaper. if you were responsible pet owners you would have the pets on insurance and you wouldnt be so concerned about the cost of vet bills. ive been a loyal client to dr singh and yes one staff needed an attitude makeover and yes the building is old but so is new west. dr singh is a gentle giant when it comes to my sensitive dog and fully undestands that she needs extra tender touch. and drugs is what usually calms her down. i went to another clinic down the street once and they wanted 60 bucks to weigh my dog. you should wonder ho he has won best in new west for 8 years!!!! the best vet ever!!!!and the staff is just so caring and full of great advice!

We tool our dog here to have her paw/ankle x-rayed. Dr singh gave a long list of fees totalling $450. Central city vets did the same job for $150. Also dr singh immediately suggested sedation even though it wasn't needed. Seems like they will do anything to squeeze your money. Beware beware beware!

This place scare's me took my dog there vet put our dog on drug's which he didn't need and vet could not tell me what was wrong with him right away that alerted me to take him elsewhere did and other vet knew right away what was wrong with him makes me wonder how this vet at alpine got a license ?? all he seem to want to do is do like 4 different test's ? other vet took one look at him and knew right away??????????????

Will not bring my pets here anymore. Bald-headed vet did not properly examine my cat's mouth and thought he had mouth infection. After a month of antibiotics, turns out my cat has a cancerous tumor but was too late and had to be put down. Front office staff are fine but the vets need a customer service makeover. Makes you wonder why they won best vet in town.

I don't care what any of you say. I've been going to Dr. Singh since 1997 and I remain loyal to him. Sure, the facilities could be a bit more updated and there is one front counter staff person that could use an attitude makeover, but I don't go for the front counter staff. For me, it's the vet that counts and Dr. Singh has been forever caring and compassionate. I refuse to go anywhere else.

I have taken my cat here once, the vet manhandled my newly adopted shy cat knowing he was weary of the human hand. Will never go back there.
