Have been bringing my cats to Dr. H for a few years now and I find him and the entire staff to be helpful, informative, and straight forward with no up-selling. I have been pleased with our bills, too. They send you email and text reminders which I find helpful, and can easily be unsubscribed from. As I have had multiple cats with different personalities at different stages of life and needs, I am always comfortable bringing them to Sherbrook animal hospital. Last time they had a new vet who was just as pleasant. Seeing some of these negative reviews it seems like people are writing these in the heat of the moment without realizing the vet clinic is run by people doing their best for patients that cannot talk.

Do NOT fill out their emailed survey that they send you, if you say anything that the don't like, they will ask you to not come back! All I saw lately was $$$ in their eyes! Never again!I feel that they took advantage of my vulnerability when my puppy was dying! He asked me to get unnecessary tests when I already was told he was dying from another emergency animal hospital. Then I called them and told them to destroy my dog's file because he had died at home, they sent mail for an appointment for him with his picture 2 weeks after I had called! Then after they told me not to come back , because I was upset, they sent another one a few weeks later! That is the cruelest thing anyone could do! I think it was done just out of spite! It's hard to trust any vet now because of the horrible experiences I had with them!

I have used this clinic with Dr Juma and the new vet for over 15 years and I don’t understand the negative reviews. I had one minor issue that when discussed with the Office Manager, was resolved immediately. I have always been impressed with the level of care, service and cost here and would highly recommend Sherbrook Animal Hospital.

We brought our dog in for a minor urinary issue.after the vet recommend food & meds she was constipated for 4+ weeks and developed hives.He shaved an excessive patch of fur off her perscribed more meds and a high fibre dog food he sells. The dog food pellets were far to large for her mouth and so hard I could bearly crack them with the handle of a screwdriver on an oak doorframe and resulted in her breaking a tooth. When we brought her back he tried to blame my girlfriend which caused her to come home crying and gave us an estimate for $600 to correct the issue that directly resulted from his recommendation and caused our dog bodily harm. The vet is 100% a scam artist who isn't interested in actually curing your animal. His only interest is perpetuating treatment and bills. Things have gotten exponentially worse since we took her in 9 weeks ago and he was completely unsympathetic even when my girlfriend was balling in front of him and the staff. No compassion, please avoid at all costs

This vet may be polite but he is a straight up scammer with outrageous fees and cons you into getting work that is not necessary my sister took our dog there and he kept telling her to treat the dog when he should have been put down he just kept the dog in suffering and charging for exams that lead to nothing ultra sounds special dog food that he sells a dumb box to help the dog eat he coned her out of $3000 in one month the fact is the dog was 13 years old and very sick and had lived a good life he should just did the humanely thing and told her put the dog down and stop his suffering this vet only cares about money and coning people out of theirs I would never take a animal to this vet

My dog Leo has been going for his shots nails since 1/2 are black and neutered. Staff all are friendly, sympathetic and accommodating. Very happy with the service.

Dr Juma is a wonderful vet,who I was impressed with years ago when I first got my dog. Unfortunately I did not see him the last few times for check ups. Last time I was told they would not vaccinate next time without teeth and blood work being done. Thank you. I went to a different vet for the teeth who charged much less and I get to see an experienced vet for check ups.

Dr. Juma is knowledgeable and compassionate. He always explains the options for care, and is very gentle with my shy dog. As a consequence, I've been taking her to see him for the 8 years I've had her.

Love this place...have been coming here since 2001 and have never met such caring, honest people! They are great at their jobs and truely do love the dogs and cats they see! Never have to wait for more then 10 minutes unless they have an emergency come in.

i do not recomend, i took dog for check up, recommended by the humane society, needed dental and was quoted 1000 for 2 teeth, also they gave the humane society the impression that i refused treatment after disscussing lengthening antibiotics, which were optional.

Dr. Juma is a very straight forward, no-nonsense professional. Never pushed anything on us, always got prices first. Thanks to this wonderful veterinarian, our ailing 5-year old cocker spaniel has been given a second chance at a normal life. (Elephant skin/low thyroid) Would highly recommend this vet clinic, having been to others.

I took my dog in with dehydration. Dr. Juma wanted to give my 3lb chihuaua xrays as well as blood work. I didn't think the blood work was worth it, as he had already showed me the xrays showing inflammation in my dogs stomach. I asked him to put her on an IV to hydrate her as well as give her antibiotics. I had to leave, and my sister came to talk with him as he wanted to do everything for $1200.00 (big money grab there). He got mad when my sister said not to do the blood work. I arrived back at the office an hour later, my sister was gone, Dr. Juma didn't have her on her IV yet, (leaving her for dead). I was very upset and asked him to get her on it ASAP. I had brought my dog in at noon for her appointment, and it took him till 4:00 p.m. to put her on the IV. He was so upset about not being able to do the blood work and other unneccesary work for $1200.00. I will never go back there again, he wouldn't even prove that she had blood in her bowels the following day of discharge

Dr. Juma and his staff are wonderful, caring people and they know their business. I have taken my pets (one dog, two cats) to his clinic for over 19 years and wouldn't think of taking my babies anywhere else. They are honest and not in it for the money. They give you your options and tell you what is best for the animal even if you may not like it.

This is the only place i will ever take my pets, (5 consecutive dogs so far and now a cat) ... Dr Juma and staff are compassionate and caring, through healthy visits, serious illnesses, and end of life euthanasia. No one else compares.

I bring my dog and cats here regularly and find the vets kind and helpful. We have seen Dr. Neil most frequently. My dog enjoys her visits and wants to stop any time we go by! I've also had good advice on the phone. Central location good but not particularly attractive building.
