I was extremely disappointed with Creature Comforts. My dog went in for surgery on a Friday to get tumors removed from his scrotum and thigh. Instead of putting staples in his thigh they 'glued' the outter skin together. I was told by the Tech that I either need to have 24 hour surveillance (which I did) on my dog or use the cone so that he doesn't bother with the glue on his thigh and staples on his scrotum. Of course, the glue came undone by Sunday. When I called the emergency line, I was told to go to an ER because the Vet at Creature Comforts was on vacation. We went to Hickory and spent $200 to fix Creature Comfort's horrible surgery. Creature Comforts then told me that they are not financially responsible and will not reimburse us. I will never take my dog there again and caution those who take their dog there for surgery. They charged us over $1100 for the surgery and didn't take the proper precautions to ensure he would be taken care of post surgery.

I have been taking my cat to Creature Comforts for years and will never go anywhere else. Dr. Alum was able to diagnose my cat from test results another vet got but still couldn't figure out what was wrong. Dr. Alum and the entire staff are friendly, caring and clearly understand that a pet is a member of the family, not just some animal that lives with you. My cat is 17 years old and a fraidy cat. They are sweet and patient with her. When she has had to have surgery, they've called me to let me know she's out and OK, without me even having to ask them to do this or call in first to find out how things are. I recently moved about 50 minutes away from the office but will still take my cat here. I can't recommend them highly enough.

My cats have been seen by the doctors for a couple of years now, and I can't be happier with the exams they have performed on all of them (I had 3 at one time going there). I never have to wait too long for them to be seen, and they make sure you understand everything that is going on. I've had other vets in the past, but these guys are a keeper! I moved from where they are in Saylorsburg to Bethlehem and I will continue to have my pets seen by their staff - I won't give them up!

The place is clean, the staff is caring and friendly, the vets seem loving and honest. They seem to make the extra effort to make everything run as smoothly as possible even when an emergency arises. I LOVE THIS PLACE>>!!

The staff at this Hospital is exceptional, honest, and caring. I am so thankful I have found Creature Comforts. I have never met an entire Vet staff whome cares more for the health of the animal and not the bottom line. I would reccomend them to ANYONE!

Our dog had problems with anal sacs and we opted for removal since this was a reoccuring problem. We arrived at 8am for surgery. At 2:30pm, after NOT receiving an update, we called and was told he wasn't operated on as yet. This was very upsetting considering that when we dropped him off we were told the surgeon would be arriving shortly after us. It was 2:30pm and our dog was in a cage without food and water since the night before. Another thing that was extremely upsetting is that we were told we could pick him up sometime after 4pm. This story changed after we told them we were cancelling the surgery. They then said that he was going to stay overnight if he was going to have the surgery. The reason why they needed to keep him overnight was because the surgery was going to be done late in the day. Can you believe that when we picked him up after cancelling the surgery, they actually said we had to pay a $40 boarding fee for the day!? Outrageous. They're no longer our vet.
