Bunny has had 3 surgeries for small abscesses on face, different state/vet. My vet, 3 decades of experience, sent me to NCSU after first abscess appearance. CT scan was done, upper molar(s) are problems. Refused to do lateral (vs. intraoral) approach to fix said issue. Back to my regular vet, she's done 3 abscess surgeries and pulled lower tooth. We know upper teeth/bone needs to be dealt with to stop reoccuring abscesses, requiring lateral approach.
She suggests Dr. Dan Johnson, about 3.5 hours away.
Dr Dan doing lectures and house calls, not paying attention to patient caused delays. Delays by staff due to not relaying info to Dr. Dan as stated. Pulls in a doc with little bunny experience that I can find to assist, when she is negative to the owner, makes assumptions without seeing the facts. Dr. Dan takes side of colleague with showing those characteristics over a bunny parent trying to save/do best for their animal. There are other signs of some of these same issues by poster

They are great with exotics, espcially reptiles. A bit pricey, but provide some services other vets don't, they have a lot of expensive high tech equipment.
