Dr. Lampru is a poor diagnostician. I took my dog for his annual exam and raised my concerns with a cough, lack of appetite, and lethargy that had developed. Blood and urine work was done and because all levels were within normal ranges for those tests, she said the cough was collapsing trachea and nothing could be done for that. As far as the lack of appetite, she said he was “spoiled” – her only conclusion. The conditions continued so I took my dog to another vet for a second opinion. My dog did not have collapsing trachea, but he did have bronchitis -- both of which were very clearly and quickly confirmed with a simple x-ray. This x-ray also revealed that he was constipated which explained his lack of appetite and lethargy. These are life threatening mistakes by Dr. Lampru, and I urge you to steer clear of this vet for the sakes of your animal companions.
