DAMC missed diagnosis after diagnosis. If you want flea meds, go there. If you need proper vet care, beware! The latest round of negligent care almost cost my dog her life. Dr. Spoorer gave my dog a dose of acepromazine which proved to be almost lethal when used in combination with other drugs HE prescribed. Then denied doing anything wrong after my dog was in emergency care for two days and $2,500 later!! Bad Vets. Bad ethics!

Certain administrative staff members are flat out rude. Also the doctors charges for tests and don't seem concerned about the cost. It's like they work in Doylestown and can charge whatever they want!

Please do not use this place. Our beloved dog was very sick this morning. When my husband got to the vet and asked what she would do, she replied "I would have taken my dog to a cardiologist". Mind you our dog just had a physical less than 2 weeks ago there. Had they told us then, we would have done that. We would have done anything for that dog. Then my husband asked to please wait until our daughter got there to say goodbye and the vet said "that's a half hour away, I'm not waiting". Our daughter was 12 minutes away. If you care about your pet, please go someplace else. We have lost a beloved family member and if you feel that way about your pet, save yourself such heartache that we experienced.

Very kind and gentle to my elderly dog as well as superior knowledge of my pets condition.

Went here with my 16 month old and 9 week old puppy for a rabies shot and 9 week 5 in one. The vets here did not even ask, took my older dogs blood gave them both "exams" (I know you're supposed to get an exam for a rabies shot but she had been there a couple months before) .... told us it doesn't matter when she gets her next distemper and might as well do it now, and clipped the puppy's nails and made him bleed. We walked out and the bill was near $300. They charged us for 2 exams blood work shots deworming and testing for worms and did not even ask us if they could do it. I might not have been so upset if they had explained the prices and told us what they were doing before they did.... not everyone is made of money!! We will not be going back to this vet again!

This is the best Vet group in Doylestown. They have saved my dog's life numerous times. I can't recommend them highly enough

routine spay 5 yr old ****, was told tolerated anesthesia poorly, vomiting 2hrs post op told to take to emergency hosp to check for bloat,as they didnt do overnite care(this is our reg vet!)no bloat, vet suspected esophogeal issue back to damc, for 2 wks daily sometimes twice trying to figure problem, no one listened to me or watched my dog, she obviously had a problem swallowing, not in her stomach...spent thousands, told me it was all sorts of things it wasnt.kaching kaching finally when dog was at deaths door sent me to specialist at vsec, who immediately diagnosed her with esophogeal strictures. she was euthanized, too much damage, very painful two weeks of her life. all they care about is money, staff is very unfriendly and acts like they are doing you a favor.gave them second chance, wouldnt sell me flea prev, cuz no record of recent heartworm test dogs on meds all year. these people are greedy jerks stay away.

Love dr.lynn. all the other dr's have different opinions and it doesn't seem like they talk to eachother about their patients. Wen it come to the bill it's way over priced, and that seems to be all they care about. I've heard they have no problem dropping patients over a past due bill.

When Mantel and Sporer started this practice, they were caring Vets. SInce they have "grown", they are about nothing but money. I can't get my dog to see the same Vet twice in a row...they have a revolving door of Vets here which says something. I am really dishartened as they used to be very good but not for the last 3 or so years, at least. They are overpriced and I just don;t get the feeling that anyone there really cares.

Agree with last reviewer -- took dog in for gastric ailment and walked out with near to $500 for many extraneous itemizations. We even declined Xrays and it was this much! They think everyone in Doylestown is made of money. They gouge new clients. They'll be gone soon.

Took my 13 year old dog- for checkup-for weight put her on Thyroid medicine - a 13 year old dog! I don't think so. Later - she had a simple urinary tract infection-peed 2x in house. Initial antibiotics didn't work. Took her back - before I knew it $450 of x-rays, nothing but talk about a upperbody mass seen -and Cancer. While blood came back just fine - no signs or symptoms of Cancer - which they talked about up and down. After much research on my part - requested stronger antibiotics, I changed her diet - more acidic - protein based diet, cranberry sauce and extracts. She fine. Every visit is a new younger, different doctor. I think it has become about dollars and cents. With no experience or mature Vet here. All young vets, you are only a name, data and a case study. And apparently your wallet is of no concern. Rachel Coyer vmd Constant talk of Cancer - with no data to support - except image of one mass - which is common to my female dog breed . I will never return here. Dreadful.
