Perhaps their focus is more on grooming and boarding! The vet decided on her own accord to shave off a non problematic tiny bump on the side of my cat, which left a hole that has continued to get infected. At this point I had the sense to switch clinics as this vet was not taking responsibility for her actions, The cat licks the open wound, so the collar is worn, and then there became an abscess, which required antibiotics and antiinflammatories more expenses, I cannot beleive I went in for bloodwork for his thyroid check and left with a hole in my cats side and continued expenses. Avoid Dr. Zajda at all costs. She thinks she knows it all, not!

Very discouraged about this vet. I have been coming here for years and have noticed the decline in the atmosphere. The doctors do not seem like they care anymore and neither does the staff. Everytime I go there is somebody new which should say something. I was in love with a technician and receptionist in particular and when I went last week they were both gone. I was told that they were horrible people which I found was an absolute lie. I will never bring my pets here again because of it. Wherever you are, and you know who you are, I sincerely hope you have found a better place to work in! All the best!

I’ve been with this clinic for quite a while and was witness to its going from bad to worst. I was stressed about changing vet but its gotten so bad ( crazy cost, terrible care, no follow up, staff etc..) that the worst clinic I’d find would still be better. After my initial change insecurity, I’m happy to say that I’m truly satisfied that my pets won’t have to go to Baker anymore. I used to think that it was just the best clinic around but everything changes and in this case for the worst.

I like the front end staff and used to adore the vet I see there (S.B.). But as of late she has become quite grouchy and is on a rampage against healthy foods and care for our pets. She claimed GMOs are a myth. Corn is good for the dogs as is kibble and processed foods. She is great as far as caring for our dogs; not so great with cats. But I may not return to this clinic because she blatantly yelled at me; told me acupuncture and chiro for dogs is a waste of money. I'm sad because she is who I've trusted for over a decade, but I think the job has gotten to her and she needs a change. And she needs to learn to listen to us pet parents with respect. Peace out.

I brought one of my dogs to bakers on a Saturday morning. He was very ill with an obstruction in his intestines which was found with an X-ray they wanted to do a bunch of pointless expensive blood work when the X-ray clearly showed the problem they then sent me home with a very ill dog that would not have made it through the night and told to make an appt for Monday but he would not have lasted till then. Likely that night I found an emergency vet open who was shocked I had the little guy home with me I rushed him in and he cared for him through the night and got the obstruction to past . I'm forever grateful to Dr. marku at the Iberville clinic for saving my little guy and I will never return to baker still can't believe they sent me home with a dog that would not last the night

I would recommend this vet to everyone - they have good rates and will always try to accomodate you and your pet. They are understanding, caring, sensitive and loving to both the owners and the pets. This is the place to go! The waiting room is always full and I am never scared to leave my pets there because I know that they are extremely well cared for. These vets and assistants go far and beyond their call of duty!
