9/16/15   5     5     4     5   Dr Grubac is the best, I have been seeing her with my cat and dog for years. I like that I can see the same vet every time, of if she is not there they let me know so I have the choice of waiting to see her or seeing the doctor working that day. Good value for money, plus they always have my food in stock. RID: 58424

8/21/15   1     2     4     1   Very disappointed in this vet. HIDDEN FEES. The vet took samples and without even telling me there was a cost went to examine them. The vet simply brushed off my dogs several symptoms as allergies and an ear infection that needed several medications. She then proceeded to try and sell me Royal Canin. When I read out the first three ingredients to her and told her there is no meat product she fell silent. I refused to buy the over priced medications. Paid my $115 for the samples and left. I don't know how they can live with themselves charging that much. They looked at me like such a bad pet owner for asking about cost and not blindly paying for whatever they think is best. Do not be coerced by these people! RID: 58133

Click to report rating    6/6/13   3     5     3     1   I have been taking my pets to this clinic since it opened. In the last few years the price has gone up dramatically. It is now out of touch for my family. There is a charge for everything. A dental estimate for a cat came in at between 950 to 1250.00 without a ceiling on cost. Fortunately there are other clinics that provide excellent care at a fraction of the cost. This allows a home with multiple pets, to continue to provide care. RID: 42970
2/25/13   2     4     4     2   Well I gave this place a try for a year. I think that the staff are nice and the vets good, but I do think that they overcharge and everything has a cost. They would even deprive a little dog who should have had a standing order for a medication. Claimed they had to examine her again before giving the meds. Another 50 dollars I dont have for something that has been ongoing. So they let her suffer because I did not have an additional 50 dollars for them to agree that she still needed the meds she has had for a long time. Other vet had made an error and not left a standing order. A quick read of the file would have shown it was a long term on going med. Terrible. Then when we moved to a new vet they offerred to fax over the file but of course there was a cost. The hippocratic oath is do no harm. What is the vet oath........as harm was done here. A little dog sufferred needlessly because of this. RID: 40707
12/31/12   1     1     1     1   I am horrified with how they treated my cat today. The admitting vet assistant was lovely and gave my very anxious cat time to come out of the crate on her own. She also gently coerced her to step on the scale. She even picked her up and my cat was fine with it. UNFORTUNATELY the vet was HORRIBLY DISRESPECTFUL and mean. She walked in, picked up my cat by the scruff of the neck immediately and then proceeded to have her assistant attempt to pick up the cat by using a blanket and completely cover her! Finally I had to call quits and tell them to knock it off. I should have walked out, but instead the vets minion ( who was totally terrified of both my hissing cat and her evil vet boss) went to get gloves and proceeded to pin my cat to the table to be inspected. When I mentioned how the first vet assistants approach had worked I was brushed off and made to feel that the vets way is THE way and I was incorrect. I'm shocked at the vets complete lack of respect for cats. Don't go here!!! RID: 39320
Click to report rating    12/16/12   3     4     5     1   My Dog ripped her duo claw and I went in to see what had to be done. With tax, it came in to just under 400.00! They would have had to sedate her, then cartrize the the claw. As hard as it was to leave, knew i was getting over charged for the proceedure. I had just spent 85.00 to get her groomed there and her nails were not cut short enought to begin with. Not saying that it is the groomers fault but mine for not going back to have them cut shorter..Oh and they also charged me 60.00 just to tell me all of this in 5 minutes...pfft! RID: 39088
Click to report rating    7/25/12   1     4     3     3   Front end staff is hit and miss. Seems like they couldn't care less about their jobs. The straw that broke the camels back was when I brought my dog in for a shot after he just had a back injury and was recovering from paralysis and the receptionist did not even look at his file and started pulling on his leash and proceeded to drag my dog across the floor towards the examining room. I yelled at her to stop, that I would carry him in but she continued so I finally went into the back and asked her if she even knew why he was in? The vet was decent and apologized and told me I could stay for the shot. Why was I not allowed in the back in the first place? I have no beef with the vets. Au contraire, Dr. Sattran is amazing and I will continue to recommend her to anyone. It was the front end staff that convinced me to keep looking. RID: 36048
Click to report rating    7/8/12   5     4     5     5   I recently brought my cat Mia in for spaying. The front staff was professional and proficent( the cost was exactly what they quoted). They did offer some additional services but it was presented in a low pressure way and I appreciate that. I love the fact that everything was all inclusive(pre surgery examine, spay, collar, medication (the amount was pre measured in syringes for me)and taxes. The vet even offered to clean her ears for free if I wanted. The next day she was acting like she never had surgery and she gets stressed out if you so much as frown at her ;) All in all, a very pleasant and stress free experience. RID: 35524
Click to report rating    2/17/12   1     5     1     1   Will never be returning stafff was incredibly rude spoke down to me as if I was ignorant. Way over priced and they seem to look for any excuse to add additional charges for things that at any other clinic I've been to would be included in the exam fee. Unfortunate to see such a nice facility run so poorly. RID: 32296
Click to report rating    1/25/12   3     5     4     1   Vet assistants were very nice. Vets don't seem to connect with the cats. Took my cat in because he was weak and dehydrated. End result - hairball. Cost me $1000+ because of all the procedures plus three days hospitalization. Told me it could be a hairball, or it could be cancer, according to an Xray. All that extra worry made me sick. Facilites are very nice. Don't like the upselling on food. RID: 31774

Click to report rating    7/3/11   1     3     4     2   The front staff need to brush up on their customer relations skills...found one girl in there to be out right rude...and condesending towards me..with a know it all attitude.. will not be back!!! RID: 25963
Click to report rating    1/23/11   5     5     5     5   Dr.Shamshur wonderful with all the animals and the dogs love him RID: 22297
Click to report rating    1/18/11   1     3     3     1   My dog started vomiting and bloating. Being new to the area, saw all their ads so took her in. Having had the problem with another dog, indicated that I was concerned about torsion. They wanted to do a bunch of bloodwork and x-rays at a lot of $$. I opted to have bloodwork done have her stomach pumped. They were supposed to call me with an update. No call. Got there and they didn't have the equipment so one vet was going to go to Walmart to see what he could find. Walmart?? turkey baster?? I ended up having to take her to the overnight clinic and then back the next day. Again, they were now supposed to be treating her for pancreatitis. Again no call during the day and when I got there, she was lethargic, laying in her own waste. I was told they were too busy to monitor her. Grabbed her, took her to another vet Found out she was too sick and had to be put down. I DEMANDED a refund and only got it if I wouldn't report them. I asked what their qualifications were. No Can. degrees.Awful. RID: 22170
Click to report rating    1/12/11   2     4     3     1   staff is not that welcoming and refused to fax in the pet secure. over priced and all about charging fees for everything. clean environment and nice facility. not personable at all. RID: 22001
Click to report rating    11/8/10   3     5     5     3   Well, the facility is very nice and most of the staff is very friendly. I took my dog there to get all his shots done, and when he got his kennel cough one done, he started coughing pretty bad. I was charged for bringing him in that day for the exam, and was told that a follow up would be done for free. When we did the follow up, I was charged again for the exam. Seems like they want to charge for exams every week and have your pets in there as often as possible. It's a nice place, but I have lost all confidence in the motivations of the vets. I think they are more money motivated. RID: 20723
Click to report rating    10/13/10   1     1     1     1   My parents used to board their cat there. No longer let me tell you. Our cat needed to have his nails trimed after spending a few nights there in boarding. When I went to get him his nails were not done I siad no problem I can wait for you to do them... A long time later I hear yowl and screams that you never wish to hear coming out of any animal. I got up to look what was going on and there was our cat pinned t the ground by the staff as they tried to cut his nails. I screamed at them to stop and took my cat and left, I said I would be back later for the bill. I took him home and he was bleeding out of 3 of his 6 cut claws (they cut them way to short) and was distarught. When I went back to settle the bill they told me it was the cats faullt and then had the balls to charge me extra for him being a tough customer. I HATE this vet they hurt our cat and now he hates if you touch his paws, I dont blame him what so ever! If you love your pet dont take them here. RID: 20271
Click to report rating    7/18/10   1     3     2     1   My dog was very ill last november. He was tested positive for Giardia & he has an ongoing illness, which makes him susceptable to parasites/patogens. South point didn't have the meds, wouldn't order them & refused to write a precription so that I could get the medication from a clinic down the road. What kind of care is this???? This vet knew how ill & symptomatic my dog was.I was disgusted . The woman should not be a Vet, has no concern for the wellbing of animals, is only interested in money. They sure know how to charge. The staff is rude as hell. I would never go back there. A Vet down the street sold me the meds for Giardia after looking at the test results & few days later my dog stopped having projectile vomiting & diarrhea. Be aware if you take your pet to south point.Just be aware. RID: 18847
Click to report rating    5/11/10   4     5     5     5   I had 2 rabbits neutered here mainly because I was referred here by a friend and was told they had very affordable prices. That was true. I only dropped off both rabbits to be neutered on separate occasions, I never met the vet myself, but based on my limited encounters with them, I was quite pleased. RID: 17888
Click to report rating    1/5/10   5     5     5     5   A very clean and up-to-date facility. Dr. mann is punctual, and does his best to explain a medical situation clearly. He encourages the use of preventive medicine, and does not in my opinion either inflate costs or prescribe procedures and medications which are not of use. He went out of his way to help my elderly very ill cat, and was compassionate when with no fault of his. I lost him. RID: 16023
Click to report rating    7/24/09   4     4     4     5   I took both my rabbits here to be neutered and they were great with them. I had no issues with them at all, but it was basically a drop-off at the front desk and then a pick-up before they closed. I never really dealt with the doctor. Nevertheless, rabbits are very fragile & sensitive animals and they came home from the surgery just fine. It was also very cheap compared to other clinic prices. RID: 13590
Click to report rating    5/14/09   2     4     4     2   Our first visit to this clinic was okay even though we eventually lost our pet. Dr. Mann did not inflate our hopes and methodically tried to deal with our cat's illness before we lost him. Months later I took my Golden to the clinic and dealt with a different doctor who dismissed my thoughts of the potential problem (a blockage in his digestive tract) and insisted on tests that I felt were unnecessary. The tests came back negative, dark shadows on the xray of his innards were dismissed as 'gas' and the problem was unresolved. I decided to bring the dog home where he would be more comfortable. They left in the intravenous and put a funnel collar on him which I said was unnecessary and the staff shrugged and said "You've paid for it." The collar came off as soon as we were in the car. The following day my dog passed a diaper?/rag?, or rather I had to pull the object from his butt and still had a $500 bill. And we never saw the doctor again when the intravenous was removed. RID: 12788
Click to report rating    11/25/08   5     5     5     5   Dr. Maan is great. I have been very happy here and he doesn't try to over sell you on stuff. RID: 10702
Click to report rating    11/19/08   5     5     5     5   The Doctor's and Staff are great! The hospital is very clean, bright and spacious. The staff are very helpful and seem to geniunely care about my pets. I have been visiting this hospital frequently as one of my pets has a chronic condition. The doctor's are knowledgable, honest and have always treated my pets and I with compassion. Any questions or concerns I have had regarding my pet's condition, products sold, services offered or fees charged have always been explained to me and if the answer was not available an effort was made to find out and get back to me. I would recommend this hospital to anyone looking for quality care for their family pets. RID: 10643
Click to report rating    11/4/08   1     1     1     1   I took my dog there once and never again. They are overpriced, the staff seems fake and forced. My friendly dog was even growling at the doctor. Should have walked out then and listened to his instincts. RID: 10502
Click to report rating    11/1/08   4     5     5     4   Facility is shiny, brand new and clean, staff is friendly and helpful. Have taken our cat there three times. Not inexpensive but you are paying for convenience and nice facility. Reassuring to know your pet is in a secure clean place. Now open seven days a week and longer hours. First two visits got appropriate diagnosis and treatment. Third time I am thinking cat was not thoroughly examined (although charged for exam fee, sedation, Xray) as after we took it home with no diagnosis we discovered the subcutneous abscess ourselves. They were quick to help us though when we phoned in with the update, and we were able to promptly pick up some antibiotics without having to bring the cat back again. So overall we are satisfied with care and would recommend. RID: 10465
