Dr. Dev and his staff are caring and compassionate. He has been caring for my animals for almost 15 years now. Over the last 6 months he has performed surgeries on 2 of our dogs that have helped ensure that they remained part of our lives. For this we are very greatful. We don’t live in the area but we go the extra mile for the amazing care we receive at this animal hospital!

Dr. Dev always presents results of investigations and procedures very clearly and then again, clearly outlines treatment options. My dog recently had knee surgery. Great outcome. Customer service is amazing from vet and staff. I highly recommend Fourth Line Animal hospital.

As a pet owner and someone who has worked in the animal industry for more than 15 years, I can whole heartedly say that Fourth Line is the best clinic. Dr. Dev is FANTASTIC and his staff are awesome.I wouldn't trust my guy with anybody else!

I took my dog to the vet because of the worm I saw when he had a bowl movement. Had it tested, and Dr Dev said he didnt have anything. I went back in with a fresh stool sample and I finally got the attention my dog needed......fast foward 6 months ....brought in a new born pup having breathing problems and too eak to suck. he suggested I feed her by syringe and every 1/2 hour to hour. I SPECIFICALLY SAID "HOW MUCH DO I FEED HER" and he said just keep doing it till did doesn't want anymore.The next day the dog was dead for over feeding. (after she did I researched on the internet and it says the worst thing to do its over feed!! I believe my baby dog died of aspiraton of the lungs. liquid in lungs from over feeding) She was born on Sunday. and went to Dr Dev on the folloing Saturday and dead my Sunday morning. PLEASE I BEG YOU DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET THERE IF IT IS REALLY SICK!!!

Before I came to Canada, I worked with a vet for 3 yrs, wanted to become a vet, but when I got here I could not afford to go, but I know a good vet when I see one, most veterinary clinics are more of a business, lets make the most money, this vet is reliable and reasonable, why buy the same product at longos when you can buy it from nofrills and you pay less, and you are keeping a fully trained Canadian employ.

Dr Dev is a great vet, I've been happy taking all three of my dogs to him, very thorough with my aging lab that has a heart issue. He's the one that was able to clear up a horrible case of mange on a dog we adopted. I have never had any issues with him, his clinic, or his practices. I find the defamatory/libellous comment about him highly unlikely. If I were him I'd sue the person attempting to injure his reputation and good name by posting that statement.

I have been going to Dr. Dev since he opened his clinic, he has cared for 5 of my adult rescued dogs and been extremely kind and helpful, always completely honest, his fees are very reasonable and he has NEVER insisted on surgery or treatment or tests that were not absolutely necessary. He does wonderful work with rescue groups and the Oakville Humane and I have no hesitation in recommending him. In fact numerous friends and clients have switched to Dr. Dev and have been extremely happy. He has gone out of his way on weekends, evenings etc to take care of my animals. My dogs love him and I never have had to muzzle any of them.Marissa

My cat was under Dr. Dev's care for a long time and we usually paid whatever they charged, no question. In one visit we were charged $18 for shaving a little spot to put cream on it, the cream was charged separately. In my last visit, the charge was over $1000 and I wanted to get second opinion. I found later that he reported us for failing to care about animal. I am very unsatisfied with this judjement. Be careful and ask about the charges before the treatment.

Dr. Dev is one of the most amazing vets I've encountered! He is knowledgeable, honest and truly cares for the well being of pets. I've witnessed time after time his compassion and generosity to rescue dogs. There has been countless times that he has been a saviour to these poor dogs that have just come out of a puppy mill, or a horrible abuse situation. He is my vet, and I recommend him to my friends and strangers! I could only hope that any future vet would strive to follow in his footsteps.

We adopted a dog through a rescue group that uses this vet. After a very bad experience with this vet regarding a surgery that our dog needed. We decided to transfer his records to another vet. Upon going to the new vet we find out that Dr. Dev was lying to us about our dog's condition. From the medical records that were sent to my new vet, conditions that he had denied prior to surgery were in fact recorded as being there, yet we were told something completely different. He also refused to send complete records to my vet. I'm sure this is to continue covering up whatever scam they concocted. I'm not really sure if we should be taking legal action, but I will most certainly never go back to this clinic and I will tell as many people about Dr. Dev for the safety of people's pets.

I've been going to Dr. Dev for over 10 years now. I recently had to put my dog to sleep, which is always a hard time. Dr. Dev was so kind and caring. When I get a new dog (and I know I will...) I will definitely go back to them and I know they will take the best care of whatever I get!

We've had very bad experiences with this vet. There is a lack of record keeping and when asked about this, they completely denied it. When we went in to get tests done to confirm the condition in question, the vet himself was rather rude even though we had decided to still be friendly, trying to put the disagreement behind us. He was even contradicting what he had said in our last appointment, but of course there was no record of that previous conversation. Needless to say, we will not go back after interacting with such unprofessional people.

Dr. Dev is FANTASTIC. I'm saw the previous post about him injecting into her cats vein.... I don't believe it for a second. I've been taking my animals there for 8 years and he's always been incredible. Very soft spoken, definitely knows his stuff and he's great with the animals. I also highly doubt that his staff would let an animal fall off of a table.

What would I do without Dr. Dev? He saved my dog's leg which should have been amputated. He is caring, dedicated and perfect to all the animals. Stephanie is also a lifesaver, compassionate and always has a smile on. From Max's Mom

We love Dr. Dev! He's great with our dog, very patient with us and takes his time to talk to us. A lot of other vets rush you in and out of your appointments but Dr. Dev makes sure your questions are answered and you don't feel like you're on the clock!

The receptionist was very freindly. The vet seemed very knowledgable and thorough and the rates were reasonable. The only problem i had was the smell which you got use to after a while.

Dr. Dev and his staff are amazing! They took the time to talk to me about my pet, I didn't feel rushed, I didn't feel robbed, and I will certainly continue going to see them.

Dr. Dev is amazing, caring, came in for me on weekend for emergency situation and he wasn't even my regular vet - NOW HE IS. Staff is wonderful and caring. And he doesn't do this just for the money - he also volunteers his services at the local humane society so loves his work. His prices are great - affordable - he cares about the animals he is treating and does what he can to help them. Highly recommend!!!
