We brought our very sick cat in to be euthanized. The staff was compassionate, walked us through the procedure and told us what to expect. Their empathy was genuine. They gave us all the time we needed to say our goodbyes. A few days later we were able to pick up our cat's ashes which were placed a lovely wooden chest, and a ceramic copy of her paw print.

Oakridge animal clinic is taking things to the next level! They TRULY care about their clients, even enough to offer complimentary beverages and snacks if there is a need to wait. Which personally,I haven't had time to indulge in yet as they have always been on time when I've taken my fur babies in.The staff is so caring, they know my fur babies by name, they take the time to get to know me and my family and make us feel extremely comfortable. The veterinarians are amazing, I trust them completely! I cannot say enough great things about this place. Sit, Stay, Heal is their motto and that's exactly what we intend to do!

One of the worst vets I have ever had the experience of using. They are really pushy, trying to get you to purchase unnecessary vaccinations, dog food, and training. Everything I said I was doing, they would yell at me, even called me a bad mother because I opted out of the vaccine for the raccoon disease. They assured me they knew my breed well, I have a breed with specific needs when it comes to care, took my dog in and they had no idea what the breed was or the special care that it requires. Overall, I would not recommend this vet.

Well located and easy to find. Not in a mall! Free standing with lots of grass to walk our dogs. The staff are amazing! Great service, everything is explained so even our kids understand what the pets are getting done. Our pets love to go see Dr. Moffat and Dr. Delangley. Not the cheapest but top value for money.

Although we moved a fair distance from the hospital we cam back after trying several vets that were closer to us. All the staff truly care and always go the extra mile. This is the 3rd pet we've had here and no matter which doctor of the group I've seen they are always caring and really knowledgable (nice to have a few as they are able to discuss some of the weird things Buster had and figure out a reason without having to go to the vet college for a referral). What else is nice is that if they are not sure of whats up they'll tell you up front and contact specialists for you to get advice. You get what you pay for and these vets are worth it!

Near malpractce. Our dog was suffering with congestive heart failure with mitral valve disease and grade 2-3 mumur. Vet on staff diagnosed with kennel cough and sent us home with hycodan. Poor medicine on part of this newer vet. My dog suffered and was not treated appropriately. Would not reccomend newer vets here. Be careful here. Lots of $ and poor quality meicine

This used to be a practice that would offer you choices about treatment of your pet. Now there is a lot of pressure for add ons. Routine vaccinations have become a battle of prescription foods, extra vaccines, ear cleaner and pressure to purchase more and more products. A $60-70 vaccination has now become a $250 appointment. Please go back to basics with choices and less pressure sales.

The staff were all very friendly and kind to me and my cat. Waited for 30 minutes before a vet tech came into the treatment room. Dr Butler came in after the vet tech (another 15 minutes to wait). 45 minutes to wait for a vet while I have a very stressed cat is not good. I told the receptionist the day before that my cat has had a very bad experience with a previous vet from a different clinic and we needed help with keeping her comfortable with the whole vet experience. They did give her some phermone to help calm her down, which helped a bit, and they treated her very well with kindness and love. Our cat was still quite stressed and there was also a dog barking in the background which did not help. More expensive than other vets I have been to. So all in all, I liked the people there with their kindness shown towards our cat, but they lacked punctuality. We will try the prescription and hopefully it helps with her ear infection.

I'm the same person that wrote about my dog having seizures. She also had a chronic UTI problem. After requesting an emergency appointment when she was urinating blood they had me drop her off and said they'd get to her when they could. They DID NOT do an exam on her, otherwise they would have felt the three large stones in her bladder. They also had her from about 10 am until 4:30 pm and only let her out to pee twice (once for collection). This was about the third time they treated her for a UTI in 6 months. We switched vets after she was finished her meds and the new vet was astonished that they missed the stones with the size they were. They also tried to pressure us into neutering our show dog. While they have very good facilities we switched because of the difficulty getting emerg appointments, inability to remember that our lemon dog has food allergies and try to put her on a prescription diet that would aggravate them and because they are so expensive.

The doctor are really knowledgeable and caring. The surgery cost was 600 - 700 and i was expecting to pay more than a grand with medication and follow ups.
They spayed her, took care of her teeth, fixed her hernia and gave her doses of antibiotics. With all the work they've done with her, they charged me only 600$. If i ever have any concern regarding surgery, I can bring her to the clinic and have her looked at free of charge. In addition, they also included bag of food for her oral hygiene, chipped her nails and cleaned mats off her hair.

Techs and vets are nice but it's hard to get an emergency appointment. My dog had seizures and they wanted me to bring her in 3 hours later for the first available appointment. I have requested that my dogs see the same vet for non emergency visits but I rarely see the same vet each time. In general, good vet, but expensive for what they provide.
