Click to report rating    9/12/14   5     5     5     5   We recently moved to FL and had just adopted a new puppy. The puppy fell deathly ill and we found Winter Garden Animal Hospital by their favorable online reviews. Dr Stroud and the staff went WAY above and beyond the call of duty to bring our poor puppy back to health. Honestly, I don't know that anyone else would or could have gone to such lengths to save our little one. Our puppy is in great health thanks to the clinic and they have us as clients for life! I could go on and on, but if you are seeking a new vet clinic... THIS IS THE ONE!!!! Thank you Dr Stroud and everyone at WGAH for saving our little Bella!!! RID: 53521
Click to report rating    5/10/08   1     1     1     1   Took my macaw in for a routine check up. Vet stated she needed a beak trimming. I agreed to it. They took off WAAAAYYYY too much and she bled like a stuck pig for hours. Everytime she touched her beak on anything (which hello?? they CLIMB with the help of their beaks!!) she would break it back open and it'd bleed everywhere all over again. Birds don't have a huge supply of blood so this could have been life threatening. Take it from me, and go to a REAL vet!! RID: 8446
Click to report rating    8/1/07   2     2     3     2   We took out new puppy in and left him all day for his sterilization. We were told to do his shots the same day. We did not get our rabies certificate and had to return for it. He got sick from the anethesia and we had to go elsewhere for another set of shots for it. We asked when we took him in if we could talk with someone when we picked him up since it was our first dog and a tech talked to us but admitted he nothing about dogs and it was his "best guess!" Our dog came down with something after they told us he had a clean bill of health, which another vet told us was a pre-existing condition. RID: 5456
