Excellent!! Highly educated , especially about chronic, severe skin problems and allergies. Very compassionate and funny. Wonderful staff, very low, very fair prices. great with my pooch who adores him.

My first experience with Gateway Animal Clinic was when I took a stray chinchilla I'd found in my yard in to check for a chip and see if they recognized it (they are the nearest clinic with an exotics practice.) I really appreciated that they made sure I left with good information on caring for the chinchilla until I found it's home. I was so impressed that I've switched to them for my bunnies veterinary care (they previously saw a vet who primarily sees dogs and cats) and Dr Dahlquist is fabulous with them. When my older bunny had his final illness, not only did he do wonders in keeping him comfortable; I really felt he and his staff really cared about my grief. My newest bunny might like him better than me. My service dog has a different vet but accompanies us on visits and he is fabulous with her too. (If I didn't have an almost 20 year relationship with her vet, she'd see Dr Dahlquist too.)
