Click to report rating    2/14/13   5     5     5     5   I was very pleased with, and still am, the compassionate care my MinPin, Zeus, has received. Initial diagnostic tests were expensive, yes, but I was given an estimate first, and it was my choice to go forward or not. Follow-up appointments have not been any more expensive than other vets, specialty or not. I have found them to be very reasonable in not recommending tests that are not necessary and in keeping cost to me in mind without sacrificing proper treatment for my dog. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is wanting or needing specialized, excellent, compassionate care for their dog or cat. RID: 40432
Click to report rating    10/28/12   5     5     5     5   Just don't get the negative reviews - doesn't match my experiences at all with this place. I first took one of my pets here about 3 years ago with a chronic stomach problem that had just been treated with antibiotics several times a year. Dr McReynolds did some bloodwork, switched to a different diet, and my dog has been free from tummy problems since. He told me things to look for in the future so that I will know if the problem gets worse. My other dog came down with a sudden fever on Labor Day weekend two years ago. She was feeling very bad. After getting her stabilized at the emergency clinic next door, the SCVIM doctors treated her and she made a remarkable comeback. Her prognosis wasn't great, but they knew what to do to get her back to her sassy self! I would not hesitate to tell anyone that these doctors and staff truly care about their clients and patients, and are excellent doctors. Of course seeing a specialist costs more, but their expertise is totally worth it! RID: 38131
Click to report rating    9/21/12   5     5     5     5   I'm not sure why all the bad reviews but I had a wonderful experince here. The staff was very helpful and very kind. The doctor I had really took his time with me and my dog. I left and still had many questions,he called me back to answer each of them and understood my frantic thoughts. I would highly reccomend this clinic to friends and family and I will be going back later this week. Thank you to the staff again! RID: 37360
Click to report rating    9/14/12   5     5     5     5   The doctors and staff here are AMAZING! They treated my dog with compassion and love, while treating me with respect. The front staff was friendly and inviting, and the nurses were helpful. I can't say enough great thinks about Dr. McReynolds and the time he took with me and my dog. Though I hope I never have an issue like this again with my dog, I would absolutely come back if I needed to. Highly recommended! RID: 37194
Click to report rating    10/1/11   3     4     3     1   I had an experience with this Clinic and am in shell shock at how much it has cost me. When one is in a highly anxious state and told that you have 10 minutes to make a decision and not feeling clear what the alternatives are is unfair. One episode at this clinic has wiped out my retirement savings. I do have to give kudos to the nurses as they are kind but feel that I have been taken advantage of. I say stay clear of this place. Click to report rating    7/25/09   1     3     1     1   Very Expensive. I agree arrogant attitude. We do appreciate good medicine, but these are pets, not our parents!! In bad economic times these multi-million dollar places really need to adjust to the ability of people to pay or I can't see them staying in business. "Mistakes" made on our bill were $500 in THEIR favor of course. Wish they have more of the "Gentle doctor" attitude, instead of the "we wish we had gone to medical school, so now we'll charge like human medicine"....and we have to pay out of our pocket for our precious pet family members. Arrogance and ego are very unattractive, but add to that outrageous fees and WE WILL NOT BE BACK!!!! RID: 13600
Click to report rating    11/21/08   1     1     1     1   EXTREMELY HIGH FEES. They think they are Memorial General human hospital. Beware to pay $$$$$ Arrogant, difficult to communicate with... it's all about the money to these folks. Go Somewhere Else!! RID: 10660
