I regret the day my dog and I ever walked into this Vet’s office. My 4-year-old’s condition was treatable and his death was preventable. This Vet was not equipped and not knowledgeable in treating a very common condition in small dogs. My dog struggled to breathe while the Vet walked around doing nothing more than pump him full of sedatives. We had to ask several times for him to put a tube in my dog’s throat (which is the very 1st thing we’ve seen other vets do for the same condition). He refused, stating “I’m afraid he’ll bite me”. What kind of Vet is afraid of a 19 lb dog with no history of biting!? Finally, when my baby was completely unconscious, and his little body and heart had been working overtime for over half an hour, he inserted the tube. Then I was told I’d have to drive him somewhere else for treatment. My baby’s heart stopped just minutes into the trip. 4-year-olds aren’t supposed to die!! One trip to the wrong Vet and I can’t go a single day without tears.

Very brief/curt with my dog's exam. Also, the vet asked me what an adult dog of my dog's breed should weigh. Isn't he supposed to know that? Charged a prescription fee for me getting my heartworm meds via petmeds.
