Dr Shura and all of the staff here have always been incredibly helpful and kind to me and my two dogs. Both of my dogs also go here for daycare from time to time which they love. The staff always has time to answer any questions I have and they are quite flexible when I have had to call last minute for daycare or vet appointments. Yes some appointments have been costly, but when I talk with friends who have seen other vets the cost is always on par. Plus I would rather pay a bit more for a staff that clearly cares about my animals as much as I do.

I really liked this clinic. The only problem is one vet always try's to push dental cleaning $$ I had a few for my dog and it ended up costing me almost $600.00..each time..I stopped buying vet food there because the so called low calorie food was full of Gluten. When I said something about all that gluten she kind of blew me off about it. It's a shame that you feel afraid to take your pet for a check up because you are afraid you are really going to get dinged $ it shouldn't be that way !

I wqas dog stitting for a friend who was out of town, her dog appeared to have ringworm. I called a took the dog in Dr. Shura or anderson, I do not know whick, ran his light over the dog and pronounced no ringworm. I was glad, the next i knew athe dog was whisked off into another room , when the returned the pet care aid, told me the dog had it's wound drained and gave me antibiotic pills and a herbal spray. The dog and I were in the office less than ten minutes and the bill was 261.00 I was shocked and told them so, of course to no avail. I will not be returning.

I have taken my dog to the Animal Care Clinic since she was a puppy - and have always found the staff to be friendly, professional and kind. They take the time to listen to my concerns and seem to genuinely care about my girl. I would recommend this clinic to a friend.

My experience at this clinic has always been good. Yes the prices are higher than some clinics but I get service and that is very important to me when it concerns my dog. Whether he is healthy or sick the staff and Doctors are helpful and professional. Dr Shura and Dr Andersen always take time to explain everything to me and make sure that I understand what is going on with my dog. Never have the Doctors or staff been rude. I would not hesitate to recommend this clinic to anyone looking for responsible pet care.

Dr Shura is one of the rudest vets Ive ever met. He barely took the time to listen to any of my concerns and over charged me for everything. I would never ever go back to this clinic.

I have had the pleasure of taking my animals to this vet for over 16 years and that has included 4 cats and 3 dogs so we've been in/out of there on a VERY regular basis with something or other. The care we have received has been terrific and the front desk staff are personable and friendly. Dr. Shura always takes the time to go over test results and to give you options (if there are any) before you proceed with a course of action. I recommend him to all our friends.

My whole family and I have taken our dogs and cats to Dr. Shura for numerous years. He is an amazing vet and really knows his stuff. The clinic has recently moved and is now even better than it was before. I refer people to him all the time and they are always very happy with his work. I would highly recommend taking your pets to see him if you want quality care. He is not the cheapest, but he also highly recommends that you get pet insurance. The front desk staff are super nice too...my dogs actually love going to the vet because they get so many treats!

I'm sure Dr. Shura is a very good veterinarian, and he is great with my pets, but he just does not have time to communicate much. This didn't really matter when my animals were healthy but has become quite a concern now that one of them is seriously ill. Secretarial staff are quite dismissive when you question anything.

Dr. Shura is great with my dog, and explored the easiest options first rather than just dispensing medicine. He explained everything to me very clearly in terms I understood. Very clean clinic!

I found both Dr. Shura and Dr. Hart to be rude and condescending in the treatment of my animals. After spending over $3000 without any results, I questioned the reason why they wanted the next procedure (min $600) and was told to stop asking questions and do as I was told. The front desk staff were rude, we were always kept waiting for our appointment times, and they pushed the sales of their vet foods even when it was pointed out that the food contained ingredients my dog was allergic to. Their prices are high, their service was horrible...I'd never take my animals back to this clinic.

Fabulous vet - this clinic looks after the Vancouver Police Department's K9 units, so you know they must be good. Not rock bottom cheap, but well worth it. Highly recommended. My dogs have had general checkups / shots / spaying / dental cleaning & surgery / illnesses treated / wounds repaired.... Always had a very positive experience.
