Dr Preiser has been our family vet for 45 years. He is the most caring and compassionate vet I have ever met. He goes way above and beyond for both the pets and the pet owners. He is what all vets should be :)

Prices are expensive yet they will tell you they dont take appts to keep prices down. Staff is rude. Especially Jamie. It is stressful to take an animal to the vet, now try sitting there all day. Takes a long time while waiting and if you say anything they will tell you ... that you are more then welcome to go else where. I will be taking my 6 pets elsewhere. I would rather pay less at Riser in Niles and have a cleaner facility to take my pet too!

I have taken my dogs there for 5 years. I like the no appointment set up but the last time we went I called to make sure of their closing time, after rushing home grabbing my dog, we got their and they had closed hours early. The only vet there that is good is Dr Preiser but he is not alwats there. We would go in for vaccinations and thats all they would do no check up.I found out today from a different vet that my dog has chipped several teeth. I could have prevented some of the damage if Preiser's had looked at her teeth 9 months ago. The vets there could not help with posting my chropped puppies ears.I won't go back.

I brought my dog in for a "minor" surgery which ended up being the worst experience I have ever had! First they didnt have him on the schedule which should have prompted me to reschedule but was told they would "squeeze it in" since it was their mistake. 8 hours later he still wasnt seen. After 5 calls which were never returned to check on his status I finally got thru and picked the dog up at 5:30pm 9 hours later. They were too busy to give me post-op instructions and said to just take the dog and they would call me-which they never did. Three days later he developed complications and I had to take him elsewhere to have the site drained. He was never given antibiotics or painkillers! He was exposed to Kennel Cough which he gave to my other 2 dogs and when I called to inform them got their voice mail which of course my message again was never returned. I now go to Riser (THE BEST VET BY THE WAY). Stay away from Preiser-they JUST DONT CARE AND ARE UNDERSTAFFED!!

I recently got a new pet and I went Preiser Animal Hospital. I didn't have to make an appointment which was great. The staff there didn't rush us, but rather took time to answer all my questions. Dr. Preiser has years of experience and you can tell his passion is for the animals. Thank you. I will be back soon:)

I was referred by a friend who has used Preiser for a long time and have to say that the entire staff and experience was fantastic but as a new dog owner Dr. Preiser took extra time to discuss the necessary home treatment with me and assure me that everything would be OK. I will be using Preiser Animal Hospital exclusively from now on and certainly would recommend them to others without hesitation.

We've trusted the health and lives of three German Shepherd dogs over the space of 25+ years to Dr. Preiser and his staff. These people truly love animals.

this place is great--friendly, good service, clean, practice good practical medicine, and very affordable!! all of the doctors are very nice!!
