2 yaars ago today my beautiful loving cat,Sandy died. She had undiagnosed fluid in her lungs. She had been at this clinic 2 times to take care of an Upper Respiratory condition. 1st in Nov. She was on some medication. It did not help. I brought her back beginning of February and asked the Doctor if it could be pneumonia because she sounded congested in her chest and exhibited signs of heavy "chest breathing". I was dismissed and told "cats do not get pneumonia". She did not improve and gradually her appetite decreased and she lost weight and became lethargic. I researched online and found out about fluid in the lungs. By the time I took her to another vet she was not eating and was being force fed by me. I asked for an Xray which did show the extreme fluid in her lungs. This vet was barely aware of the history of the URI and medications. She suggested a trip to Specialty Care Emergency Services who drained the fluid. Better for a few days than died drowning in fluid.

We did not have a good experience here. Not very clean. Staff was professional with us, but didn't treat our animal well. I guess you get what you pay for. We have not gone back.

I used to go to Dr. Senf and was referred to another vet who is more experienced and doesn't nickel and dime you and I will never go back to AMC again. I don't have a problem with Dr. Senf (I have a problem with a former partner of his), but I have figured out that the value just isn't there. There are vets in town that are just as good & better, who don't charge a fortune.

charged me to speak to a surgeon when I didn't ask to...spent money on an ultrasound that showed nothing because the person doing it wasnt qualified. i made an appointment with a specific dr and they gave me someone else. not happy at all.

The whole staff always pays attention to me and my puppy, they are very helpful and if the receptionist or nurse doesn't know the answer to a question they always go find out and get back to me or have a doctor call me back right away. When my puppy was very sick he had to be put on an IV and have many tests done to rule out more serious illnesses. I thought the bill was going to be in the 300 rage or higher but it was less than half that for hte emergency visit, IV, all medication, and blood work. I have never been happier with a vet service ever.

I have to agree that the front desk staff is not always so pleasant. I have tried to get in to talk with Dr. Senf and the front desk manager was very very rude. I use to work there and all of the doctors were very good. Unfortunately the front desk is the first impression as well as the last impression and that area needs great improvement (not all the front desk employees are rude, but a there are enough that it is a severe problem). I have heard this from other people also.

My dog had been vomiting for several days so I took my dog at 10 am to AMC knowing they closed at 1 pm on sat. After I waited several hours, they then told me I had to take my dog to the emergency vet (where everything is double priced) because they were closing at 1 pm. it was only 11:30. They have been my dog's vet for 8 yrs. I am changing vets..obviously.

Beautiful building. Too bad the girls behind the counter weren't as nice. It is great however that you have a pet store and a boarding place all in one. But I have yet to EVER recieve good customer service.
