The reviews on this site are old and wrong. If you look at the goggle site you'll see a more reasonable 4.7, and if you read the reviews you will be crying. The heart wrenching tales of how these doctors treated the patients and owners with dignity and respect at the worst times weaves through many of the statements. I have personally spent over a hour discussing two of my dogs with kidney, trachea, heart and other issues and was charged $40. Forty dollars in case you think I missed a zero. We also take them to UT vet and spend 10 times that and get the same awesome treatment. When our dogs are sick, they will get you in!! Great owner who loves dogs, people, and how to run the business. Don't look at or believe these other reviews.

We took our cat to this clinic and they were wonderful. We were afraid her leg was broken. Other clinics I called wanted $150 for an xray. Their charge was $60. It was definitely worth my 25 minute drive and we will return. They gave her a shot and meds for 3 days. She was walking on all 4 within 2 days. They give excellent care for reasonable cost.

Took my dog in for a checkup and they said she was just a little fat but healthy. Two weeks later my dog was diagnosed with a massive abdominal tumor at another clinic. Dr butler did a terrible job examining my pet because he missed the large mass and other symptoms I mentioned. I asked him about her abdominal mast and he said to feed her less. Incompetent or lazy.

Took my dog in for a tail docking due to "happy tail" that would not heal. They called 2 hours later and said that my great dane had died during surgery. I would NEVER take another pet to this facility.

I had an emergency with my little dog. Dr. Butler was on a day off and one of his staff vet's attended me and she was very stressed out and unwilling to help my little dog. She was getting ready to go off duty. They removed my little dog from oxygen and I was told to go to U.T. because they could not help me. My little dog was just getting better when they disconnected him. They refused to help me further. They charged me over a hundred dollars for unresponsible service. They wanted to euthanize him saying he could not be helped. I should have gone to old Dr. Butlers clinic but a friend had referred me here saying they were great. She was wrong. U.T. wanted thousand of dollars in surgery and they tested him unmercifully and he was euthanized. Shame on this clinic for what they did. This clinic does not do the name right. Dr Butler senior would have been ashamed of this. These are irresponsible and stressed out vets. My dog died because of them.

I haven't been to their new location since they moved, but I have taken my dog to see Dr. Butler, Jr. before and he is a great veterinarian. The staff is friendly and the quality of care is satisfactory

Butler Animal Clinic stayed open late for me the day before a holiday so that I may bring in my dog for an "emergency" visit. Since then we have been there for multiple visits, all with a positive experience. Very affordable as well.
