Although I am not familiar with Dr. Goble, I am giving her a 5 in each category strictly for the reason that she refuses to do declaws. Too bad her "fired" client did not research the horrible physical and emotional damage that declawing can do to a cat. I can only hope the client saw the light, but, probably found another vet who would maim the kitty. You rock, Dr. Goble!

Dr. Goble speaking. I well remember this client and the difficulties I had with her. Thus I did "fire" her as a client. When I graduated from vet school in 1980 I had no problem with declawing the front feet of cats. Now that I am older I refuse to declaw any cat for any reason. I have 6 cats and not a one of them damage my furniture. Concerning dogs, I refuse to dock tails, chop of dewclaws or "crop" ears.

Staff quoted the wrong price for declawing. Staff said my cats could be picked up same day and that was incorrect info too. I wanted all four of my cat's paws declawed -- a request I made quite clear when I dropped off my cat. Three hours later, the vet called and said it was against her morals to perform a complete declawing. When I asked how much it would be to do just 2 paws, she said the same price as four. I said that I would pass and just wanted the rabies and deworming performed. When I picked up my cat, no procedures were performed because the vet "fired" me as a client because I expressed frustration with all of the misinformation her staff gave me and how they wasted my time cause I never would have driven that far to her facility had her staff given me the proper information. Neither the staff nor the vet was willing to admit they made any mistakes in providing me misleading information.
