12/14/11   5     5     4     3   I have all my pets registered there as their emergency vet only because of distance. If bringing rabbits call ahead to see if rabbit vet on duty. The rabbit vets are savvy. Facility is new and beautiful. They follow up on your pets recovery and cost is competitive. They could be a little bit more lienient with making payment arrangements. Click to report rating    10/15/09   5     5     5     5   I have seen 7 of the vets here about my cats, & about sick foster kittens . I am very happy with the care & my standards are VERY high. The whole system seems to work well here. If you have a question, you can immediately talk to a tech, and they consult the vets if needed. The techs do triage, so urgent cases do get appts. The lab services here are EXCELLENT, which is very impt to diagnosis. They allow you to be anywhere and witness everything--really important, because it means they have nothing to hide. (Very few vets allow this!) They follow up, and some vets do use email. I found all the vets & techs caring and competent. I have sometimes discussed things when I questioned their recommendations (I know my animals, and I know alot about medications) and they always listened, were thoughtful & respectful. I particularly like Dr Boltz & Clifton, but everyone I've used was excellent. Yes, a big place, but that has pluses too, like 24 hr coverage and urgent care appts. RID: 14774
Click to report rating    2/27/09   5     5     5     4   I've been taking my 6 cats here for almost 2 years now and this has been the best vet hospital that I've ever been too. My vet is Dr. Rachel Boltz and she's the most caring and compassionate vet. I've had to see a few other vets when she wasn't available and they've all been very good. The vet techs are also very nice and the front office gives you great customer service and they're very organized. The prices are a bit high but they have all of the latest equipment and you can watch all of the procedures. I also like the fact that they're also an emergency hospital too so if I have to take my cats to an animal ER I know where to go. I'd recommend this hospital to any one who wants their animals to receive great care. RID: 11859
Click to report rating    7/26/08   1     2     1     1   I had a very bad experience with this hospital especially with Dr Rose, I brought in my do for vomiting and weakness. Unfortunately I fell in to the hands of Dr. Rose without any blood work results or any other test that can have a meaningful result she told me on the spot that he probably had a neurological problem and cancer. it was unbelievable to me. At that time she sent me to a set of very expansive tests xrays, ultrasound that showed nothing. The ultrasound she did was VERY superficial and showed not results. seems like it was done only to charge me more $$$. Only after I insisted to see a different doctor they called Dr. Roos that took much better case of my do and called an ultrasound specialist when needed. I brought my dogs to Adobe for many years now and have not seen such poor treatment or diagnosis. My dog was sent home with antibiotics but not before I was offered by Dr. Rose to leave him and open his belly yo see what's up at the cost of $3000. RID: 9449
Click to report rating    8/17/07   5     5     5     5   Our family has been taking our animals here for 30 years, they have always been wonderful. Even when I no longer lived at home they were willing to call me and discuss my/ my parents' dogs case with me and when she was too sick to bring in did housecalls. RID: 5657
Click to report rating    3/21/07   5     5     5     5   WOW! That other review was weird. I've been taking my dogs and cats to Adobe since '98 and my mom was going even before that (still does). Adobe's prices might seem high, to some, but they don't make me do stoopid things like overvaccinate my pets. They have around 20 vets and all consult each other on tough cases (I've seen that PLENTY, belive me!). It's the only place I know that really cares about what they do to the pets; you can go anywhere in the hospital and you can be there for your pet's surgery, while it wakes up and while it recovers in ICU. You are there for blood draws, ear flushes, xrays, whatever. There are lots of vets who have been there for a long time and some really great new vets. When they do blood tests you have the results in minutes to hours, not days to weeks like at my doctor's office! The night staff and vets are AMAZING. If you have to wait, it's because there's a bigger emergency than yours. I will NEVER use another hospital. RID: 3111
Click to report rating    3/21/07   5     5     5     5   The clinic is on the expensive side, yes. THe payoff is that they always have the lastest in diagnostic equipment and they take good care of their employees, who are always cheery and happy to see your pet. There are over twenty doctors, so getting a second opinion is very easy. The place is like well-organized chaos between their regular appointments and emergency services, the witing room is always busy and it's never quiet, but despite that I've bever felt like my animals were brushed aside or overlooked. RID: 3110
Click to report rating    3/15/07   1     2     2     1   They are extraordinarily expensive for sub-standard veterinarians. You'll be welcomed by either fresh-faced young vets full of themselves and unwilling to accept any input, or cranky old guys who tell you that your palliative measures are 'stupid'. I actually had to report the last vet to another, for complaint up to licensing, for telling me completely false information with respect to my dog's healthcare needs. Further, never think "emergency" visits will help - they won't. Every time we try to go in for "emergency", we wait for _at least_ 3 hours, and are sent home with a bandaid and told to come in if things get worse after seeing my dog for about 10 minutes. I've had dogs misdiagnose my dog, take measures that were painful and traumatizing, and overall convince my dog that vet=bad. Don't be fooled by the reputation - individually, if any one of these vets was worth a dime, they'd be in solo practice. RID: 3033
