We have been taking our dog to Aspen Springs for 4 years. She is a rescue so she can be a little nervous and defensive at times. The staff and doctors at this clinic are always very patient with her. We really appreciate the follow up calls we get whether it has been a change in medication or to see how she was recovering after surgery. We feel that the staff at Aspen Springs truly care about all animals and we feel confident in bringing our dog there knowing that she receives the best care every time we visit.

If you are looking for a clinic for your pet this is the clinic. Staff are knowledgeable,caring,friendly and helpful. Clinic is extremely clean and had a calm atmosphere with comfortable exam rooms. I recently switched to this clinic and I am so happy I did. Worth the drive from Whitby!

Almost had to put my cat down due to their high cost and lack of treatment options. After $900 we had no answers and no treatment plan. In fact we had two vets at this clinic give different readings on an X Ray. We also had one vet say that some of their staff know what's going on better than others. Thank goodness we got a second oppinion at a different clinic with an honest vet or else our cat would have been dead.

My puppy loves coming here! The staff are so friendly to her, both vets seem to really care about her well-being. I was given a comprehensive package all about puppy care & resources when we first came in. They always follow up with a phone call after she's been in, to see how she's doing. They clearly explain the reasons for her vaccinations and treatments and give me the choice. The office is clean and well-appointed, always running on time.

Everyone at Aspen Springs Animal Hospital is absolutely incredible. Our dog shouldn't be alive but because of the personalized care and compassion that Dr's Troughton and Benzaquen provide he's healthy and happy. Our dog is one of us and therefore a very important member of the family, but we can't help but wonder if he's loved even more by the staff at Aspen Springs than he is at home. Their dedication is truly inspiring.

I would prefer a vet that could diagnose a problem rather than suggest test for this and test for that, cha ching, cha ching and on it goes with them.

It's a great clinic! I moved and found them via word of mouth - and the referrals don't lie. They are friendly and knowledgable. I appreciate them taking time with me and my old pooch. They know she is family. Thanks Aspen Springs! If you love your pet, I recommend you check them out.

This clinic was recommended to me by a good friend when my dog was not doing well. They took the time to listen to my concerns. They understood where I was coming from and gave me options. I am thankful I found them and will drive the extra few miles to get there. They restored my faith in the profession. Thanks Aspen Springs!

I've been taking my dog here for over four years, and recently her allergies have been terrible. I've seen both vets, just due to when I could go and both have worked dedicatedly towards finding meds that work and don't interfere with her hip pills. They're both down to earth, straight forward people who put animal health first while keeping in mind I don't have unlimited money. My dog is timid and naturally shy but gets excited to go to the vet and perks up when she sees either veterinarian especially. They call frequently if she's been ill and always give me multiple options, laying out the pros and cons of each. I've been to 2 other vets and after them I'll never take her anywhere else.

The staff at Aspen Springs work well with our difficult dog. They are patient when we have to take time to settle her. They have been there for us when we needed support on the phone and and have always been friendly.

The staff was rude when I questioned why the cost of a spay was so high. She suggested that I should have gotten a rescue animal if I could not afford the spay. I never said I couldn't afford it, but she had to insult me by telling me this. If I am paying them top dollar, I expect to be treated with respect. Will not go back.

I am sorry to hear of recent bad experiences at this clinic. My dog goes there and loves it. He tries to go in every time we pass it on our walks. The girls are very patient with him. He is shy and they always gives him treats. They gave me a tour before his neuter and the facility is great. Cost wise this clinic is much less expensive than my last clinic and they are very accommodating with appointments.

I have given an overall rating of 1 to this clinic. To be honest I cannot rate punctuality or Monetary value because my husband and very sick Bouvier were turned away. My dog(Lucy) was near bleeding to death from a uterine hemhorage but no one took the time to look at her, help us or suggest another clinic to take her to. I do see that there are many good reviews here and I'm happy for those people and if the staff there had taken a moment of their time to help us maybe I could have written a good review as well.

I went in recently with my cat that is not the easiest patient and he loved the staff. I have recently moved into the area and was recommended to go there by my neighbour - I was not disappointed. I liked the facilities and the staff was very friendly. The doctor listened to my concerns and seemed to understand what I wanted for my pet. This clinic was a great choice for us!

Receptionist was impatient. Vet wanted to do expensive testing before she figured out she could not help my cat and suggested I take her to Toronto for further testing. I ended up taking my cat to another local vet who was able to diagnose the problem which wasn't as complicated as the Aspen Springs vet made it out to be.

Excellent staff, clean and well organized clinic with your pet's care their top priority. We took our recently rescued and very nervous girl to this amazing team for a spay and I can't express enough how relieved I am to have chosen this clinic. Dr. Troughton is down to earth and very easy to talk to. She's patient and really understood and addressed our concerns. Tara, Abby and the students training in the office are great and helped to relax our Sadie. Thank you ladies, you truly are a wonderful team!

Super staff ... very caring. We used to go to a different vet who kept telling us nothing was wrong with our dog. Finally after many years of illness and pain, he is well and happy.

Absoloutely wonderful staff! I truly feel like they are there to help my pets with every problem that arises and actually care about their patients wellbeing. The facility is great and they are able to bring in a specialist for ultrasounds and intensive surgeries like orthopedics instead of referring you elsewhere. As well, the drs themselves have a wide range of skills and knowledge - which is very comforting to know they can handle anything that walks through the door.

I have 5 cats, and have taken 2 so far. They are entirely wonderful here! Friendly, helpful and informative. i wont be taking my cats anywhere else! I strongly recommend to try low cost but still quality service and care.

Love this vet! Been going there for about a year. The vets are attentive, honest, genuinely caring and incredibly knowledgeable individuals! The entire staff are fantastic and knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with.

We've been using ASAH since they opened, and before that one of their vets primarily treated our dog at another vet. Their tech's are super friendly, the vets are honest, and are there to help people, not take you to the cleaners. They have always been honest with what they thing is needed, and what is not needed, always providing options.
