Doctor was adamant on the diagnosis. They cut open my fur baby and then said oh it wasn't that. They charged for an operation that was unnecessary. Please get a 2nd opinion for any surgery.

First of all, the tools that were laid out on the exam table were dirty and literally had RUST. It looked like the set of a SAW movie. Then he starts heavily man-handling my dog. He’s grabbing the back of her head all hard to look at her teeth. He looked for literally 2 seconds and just goes, “yeah, they’re dirty”. Then he starts trying to give her a shot of anesthetic in the middle of me asking questions. I had to grab my dog and ask him what he was doing. He was obviously in a rush. Then I asked him “are you guys willing to please call me before you do any extractions so that I can prepare if my dog is going to come home without teeth?” He goes “NO!”
I immediately grabbed my dog and my stuff and said “I don’t feel comfortable with you doing this procedure”. He rudely said “Yeah, I don’t either”. We both exchanged some ugly words with each other and he called me the B-word before I left.
!!PLEASE TAKE YOUR PETS SOMEWHERE ELSE!!

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET TO THIS CLINIC
Our dog was caughing, wheezing & breathing heavily. . My appointment was at 6:00pm. we were called in the room 2 hours later. Dr Fret Lucero came in, pressed on the dogs belly and said he has a throat infection and needs an antibiotic shot. he didnt listen to heart or lungs . out of all the symptoms we listed caughing made him so sure its a throat infection? We informed him that our regular vet was concern of a heart failure and we insisted on him taking chest, heart and thoat xray beore he gives the dog tratment for infection. He came back with an enormous bill that included x rays blood tests antibiotic shots and more... we agreed to the X-rays only.He came back to the room dressed in leather pants and vest with no shirt ready to leave and said " this dog is gone, he is full of cancer" and left. No expanation, no compasion not a list of symptoms to expect or treatment available nothing!!! just left us in shock .

Excellent vet care. Kind and caring. Professional. I always receive an estimate prior to treatment, and often the total is lower. I have been a client of Mid Valley Vet Hospital for over 5 years and find them the best vet in the valley. Thanks guys!!!

Excellent vet. Great service. The staff and vets are caring and compassionate. I never get charged a recheck fee and the prices are very reasonable. I vote Mid Valley Vet Hospital best vet in the valley or Los Angeles

Excellent!! Great staff. Great doctors. I love their extended hours. I have never had any problem with care my pets have received.. A+++++. Keep up the good work guys. My 2 dogs say hello.

YEARS AGO HE TREATED A CAT I RESCUED. AFTER MANY EXPENSIVE BLOOD TESTING TITER LEVELS FOUND NO FIP OR ANY THING, THEN SHE DIED IN MY ARMS HAVING MANY CATS AND FOSTERS I HAD TO KNOW WHAT KILLED HER, THEN HAD TO PAY $250 FOR A NECROPSY THAT REVEALED COMPLETE ORGAN INFILTRATION OF FIP. I FEEL THE COMPASSIONATE THING TO DO WOULD TO TO HAVE AT LEAST CUT THE COST OF THE NECROPSY IN HALF, AFTER ALL I HAD ALREADY PAID FOR USELESS BLOOD WORK. I CHOSE NEVER TO USE HIS SERVICES AGAIN AND NOW THANK INTERNET, A PERSON CAN AT LEAST WARN OTHERS

We had a horrible experience at this vet! If I had one thing to share about Dr. Pitt and his staff, I would say this: they are cold, insensitive and most of all all about the $. It was cut-throat. We were constantly charged for repeated tests and medications that didn't help our pets. Charged full price for follow-up visits ( Most give a break on the price when you have follow up visits for a chronic condition.) Every time we got a bill there were charges that were never told to us until after the fact. We started asking for quotes in advance and the bills still came out higher than the quotes! Our cat - who was battling diabetes and was there for a few days. We got the bill and it was again more than we'd expected. We asked if we could work out a payment plan. The business mgr refused and said we knew what we were in for. Dr. Pitt told us to pay and get out and he would never treat our pets again. We paid and he released our cat and said she was stable. She died that night in our arms

EXCELLENT VET HOSPITAL. GREAT SERVICE. VERY GOOD PRICES. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM. THEY ARE A RESEDA VET AND NORTHRIDGE VET ALSO
