This was not a recent visit to Dr. Dewy with my cat for regular shots, however the visit has been haunting me since. I have a Persian, totally fluffy cat 7 years old, and indoor pet from day one. Within two days of having her home, I found her to be LOADED with fleas. She was so un comfortable. I called them to say that she for sure picked them up at the clinic but was brushed of by the staff and told I could have 20% off of a shampoo that would fix the problem. I went to another vet. I felt as though she was somehow infested on purpose, as the amount of fleas was horrific after just two days home. NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL BY DR. DEWY AND HIS STAFF.

Here you will find compassionate, knowledgeable care, on time and reasonably priced. Truly a wonderful group of caring people. It is no coincidence that this clinic is immensely popular amongst pet owners.

Incredible vet clinic! Our dog was close to dying and the staff and doctors worked with us and saved our beloved Buster! Highly recommend this clinic to everyone.

I have been to many veterinarian hospitals/clinics with my dog Mozart. Even though this one is close to where I live, this is the best experience I have ever had. When my dog needs some kind of treatment, he is taken away and brought back very happy. I don't have to go in the room with him to try to hold him to stay still - dogs don't usually like to cooperate with their owners. Everybody in the reception room is very friendly and efficient. They all welcomed us with "open arms" since our firs visit. I've only met Dr. Tarable once - he is very warm, knowledgeable, friendly and obviously loves dogs. I have to say something about the groomer - fabulous. You do a fantastic job; better than any other that has tried to groom Mozart. I hope I never have to search for another groomer. Dr. T. said you were very experienced and excellent at what you do and he was right. Thank you to all the staff at ACVH as you have made us feel very welcome and visiting the vet a very pleasant experience

We have been clients of Arnold Crescent Animal Hospital for over 25 years. Drs Dewey and Tarable have been wonderful treating our numerous dogs, cats (and even rabbits and mice). All the staff is friendly and professional. When a pet is sick, you want knowledgeable and compassionate care, and that is what we get a Arnold Crescent.

I have been a client at ACAH for 3 years now and have to say I have never found a vet more knowledgeable, compassionate and thorough than Dr. Tarable. Dr. Tarable and his whole team are always so warm and welcoming, not only to my fur family members (2 cats and 2 dogs) but also to my husband and children as well. From the moment we arrive at the front desk to the moment we leave I am always confident that all of our questions, concerns and needs will be answered and met with the utmost patience, professionalism and compassion. Ali in reception has been especially kind and understanding and was of great comfort to my whole family when we lost one of our cats to a rare disease. Not only is Dr. Tarable a phenomenal surgeon but he is extremely knowledgeable on all things in between. I know that when I have a concern (even if it's a silly one) that he will take the time to explain it and put my mind at ease. When friends ask who my vet is I proudly tell them Dr.T at ACAH!!! :-)

I have brought my dog here for several years now and the service has been exceptional. The vets always listen to my concerns and give me helpful advice for my pet. I never have any issues with the service they provide since they seem to be very knowledgeable in their field. I would recommend Dr. Dewey and Dr. Tarable to pet owners that want quality service and care for their pets. Prices can be high when a lot of tests need to be done, but are still reasonable.

Dr. Dewey is an excellent vet. My dog had serious issues for years until a friend recommended that we see Dr. Dewey and now the problems are minimal. Dr. Dewey always calls back, and follows up after any changes in treatment. I could not give him a higher recommendation.

Have been taking our dog to the clinic for the past 4 years and always have a pleasant experience. Dr. Dewey has been very good with our dog and takes a conservative approach which we appreciate as we don't want to do unnecessary procedures and tests on our precious little guy. Have no desire to change vets and would recommend the clinic.

After years of struggling with my dog's allergies/skin problems, a friend recommended Dr. Dewey. He quickly figured out the allergy and the problems are minimal now. He and his staff are always friendly and respectful. He follows up after treatments and tests. I totally trust his advice.

I've been a client at ACAH for 20 yrs and trust Dr. Dewey wholeheartedly with my cats...not only is he honest & upfront with his opinion based on years of experience but he also takes into consideration the pet parents. Never have I had a bad experience at ACAH, only positive! The compassion you are shown is real & genuine, everyone who works there has a pet & they understand other pet parents concerns. As for the other negative comments posted, just how much of the negativity was created by the pet parent's own anxiety/ negligence in the first place? Mistakes are made by anyone but one has to wonder was there a pre-existing condition that could have caused the complications? Any pet who is to have a surgical procedure done is at risk, no matter how minor the surgery, to infections & complications even in the most sterile conditions. As for medicines, animals have allergies the same as people, you don't know until you try. I've had 6 cats with Dr. Dewey and I trust no other vet!!

I took my puppy to see Dr. Dewey on the advice of a friend. He spent a lot of time with us, and the staff was welcoming and friendly. The facilities were clean, and I would recommend this clinic.

We have taken our cats to Arnold Crescent for 10 years. Their staff is very compassionate and professional. Dr. Dewey and Dr. Tarable are amazing with our kitties and they actually like coming to see them! I would highly recommend this clinic!

wo of my cats have visited Arnold Crescent. One was for a surgical procedure that ended with an infection. When we took her back in to have the infection treated, Dr. Dewey managed to completely overlook a .75cm piece of glass protruding from the wound. Instead he sent us on our way with antibiotics. We discovered the glass immediately after getting her home. My second cat was brought in for a urinalysis and left their care 7 hours and $300 later with an injured and swollen hip. They had also administered drugs without consulting me or obtaining my consent. Dr. Terible suggested that, in the future, we remain with the cat for the full time she's in their care to prevent additional injuries - no apology, no accountability. After discussing the issues we've had with Dr. Dewey, he seemed to deny the facts and avoid accepting fault. Absolutely unacceptable, and we will not be depending on Arnold Crescent for the welfare of our animals going forward.

My experience here was not pleasant. My puppy was ill, yet they didn't call me when the result for his stool sample came in. Most of the staff seemed clueless and cold. One receptionist made up a fake birth date for my puppy without asking me this info. In addition, I was doubled billed at one visit. Careless and stupid. I will be looking elsewhere.

We have taken our 18 week puppy twice to see Dr. Hyatt at the clinic and am extremely pleased with the way the staff and vet treat both us and our dog. They are very affectionate with our little guy. Dr. Hyatt is exceptional at given vaccinations, so much so that our dog has never felt any of his shots! We are very confident that our dog will be very well looked after at the clinic and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to friends and family.

Have had the joy of having Dr. Kevin Dewy as my Vet for over 15 years. This is an old fashioned vet centre where they remember your name and the health of your pet companion. They actually phone to find out how they are doing! I can't commend them highly enough.
