Due to location I was a very loyal customer for well over ten years and have brought over six dogs here over many, many years without ever any payment problems (paid in full every single time). I brought my dog in for a check up last week and made an appointment for her teeth to get cleaned (a deposit was "never" mentioned for the cleaning). When I brought her back in for the cleaning apt. they REFUSED to take her because I didn't bring my wallet (thinking I would pay in full when I picked her up). They required a $50 deposit!! They DOWNRIGHT refused to take her over a $50 deposit! Are you serious? They must be desperate or something. And on top of it, they have almost doubled their costs for pet care in the last two years! This was a slap in the face as a loyal, high paying customer. Trust me, find another vet! Dr Smolin is very old, desperate and on the verge of retirement and is now filling his pockets with exorbitant prices ...their new front office and techs are also rude and insu

Our cat had urinary problems and we took him here for emergency treatment. Right off the bat, the staff seemed hostile and incompetent. We saw the vet, Laura Brown, quickly and after a short exam she immediately listed expensive treatment options. She did a procedure to unblock his urethra but refused to do a urinalysis. Sure enough a week later we ended up at the same clinic with the same problem. Guess what? Same vet and she again refused to do a urinalysis. We took the cat to our vet and he had to poke the poor cat yet again just to get a urinalysis. Bottom line here is that this clinic is full of incompetent people who really don't know to treat your animal. Stay away.

Wonderful man. Dr. Smollin tells it to you straight, and he doesn't try to sell you expensive tests or treatments that won't help.
