We have been with Renforth since the 1980s and it was great clinic until recent years. There are several support staff who have been responsible for so called 'mistakes' that had frustrating and upsetting consequences.This is unfortunate as some of the other support staff are kind and efficient. As far as doctors go, Dr. Daicos is fabulous - she is the one I would recommend to anyone who is considering bringing their pet here. Bottom line, thoroughly research other options in Etobicoke as well.

Dr. Gigi Zeitoun has been a blessing in our life and truly a life saver to our cats. You will not find a more compassionate, loving vet, who not only does what is best for your animal but that also doesn't over charge or try to sell you anything unnecessary keeping your vet bill down which is a first for us. She communicates very clearly and compassionately with you so you know what your pet is experiencing.
We have dealt with a string of bad vets but when Dr. Gigi came into our life things changed. We have 2 cats, one who battles Irritable Bowel Disease and another with the Calici virus and Dr. Gigi has been there with us the whole way, to the point where we don't need to make regular vet visits because our cats are in such great health because of her care when others told us they wouldn't live a good life or a long life which we didn't want to accept. I now never worry when a vet visit is needed because I know they are in the best of hands with Dr. Gigi. Thank you Dr.Gigi!

Very poor service (communication) also, very expensive. No follow up. They are "in it for the money" Suggested teeth cleaning, when our dog does not need it. Never bother to call and follow up. Once and only once.

Caring - above and beyond!
My cat -'Li'l Bit - was under regular care of clinic personnel for 10 years for allergies and mammary tumours - but strangely the 'end of life' care was what was most appreciated. Dr. Terp and his receptionist (Julie) handled it so compassionately she went to sleep peacefully while I held her. I had been dreading this visit - but you made it bearable and understood the tears - Thank you - Betty Tapping

I have only had great experiences with the vets here. My dog has had two major surgeries here and both times the experience was great. Both surgeries were done by Dr. Terp. He explained everything to us and gave us all the options. He followed up with us after words. The rest of the staff and kind and helpful. Their prices are great. Would highly recommend this vet clinic.

I can't say I have always had stellar experiences here and I don't get a warm, fuzzy feeling from any of the vets who treated my animals over the years but I find them knowledgeable and detailed. Rates are good and when one clinic told me I needed $1000 surgery for my 15yr old dog this clinic was able to avoid putting my dog under anesthesia and charged me a modest $150 for a local anesthesia/incision etc... I have since moved further away so don't go as often but if you are looking for the basics (annual appts, nails, shots, etc...) then you should consider Renforth.

Have taken my cats here for years and they are always good with the pets and reasonably priced. Would recommend them.

I was at the new location on Monday and I really liked it and the nice plaza that they moved into. I am quite a few pets 2 dogs 2 cats as well as other pets. I always get great service and I have to say that they don't try to squeeze every dime out of me as I have experienced before at other clinics. they are great and I would recommend them highly.

I brought my 11 year old cat in today He had been acting sick for three days Hiding under tables or anywhere out of sight not eating or drinking well. the vet said his heart was at a dangerous rate. I did not want any expensive tests . he vet then suggested that I should have him put down to spare him having a heart attack I guess I said no I wanted time to think about it. Brought him home and as of this evening he is doing quite well If I had listened to,her I would not have my cat . I was not impressed. have been using this clinic for a lot of years and have been okay up to now. afraid I will be looking for a new Vet.

Dr. Martinger is the best vet I have ever had my animals to. He is compassionate and knowledgeable. I have a dog with Cushings and he has cared for her like she was his own. Unfortunately he is leaving the clinic and I am very sad. May have to find another vet. Probably Dr. Desmond in Mississauga. Further to go but only other vet that is that compassionate.

I have been going to this clinic for at least 12 years. It's changed ownership but, the staff is great and very compassionate. Dr. Terp is very knowledgeable and very kind. I don't see why people say he is cold. He returns calls and is great.

I do not recommend this clinic. Dr Terp would not call me back after i repeatedly called him last week about my dog who he had treated. To date he has still not called me back even aftre Is ent him a letter

I have used the clinic for roughly 15 years. I have seen the business change ownership but their focus ALWAYS has remained on the animals and customers first. The staff are very friendly and empathatic. They have stayed after hours in situations just to fit me in for an emergency. I recommend them all the time to friends. I come all the way from the beach Toronto but I refuse to change clinics because they are so good...it is worth the drive to Etobicoke :). I had to put down 2 older dogs with cancer and they were so caring and kind and followed up with me to make sure I was okay. I would HIGHLY recommend this clinic and FABULOUS staff.

Finding a veterinary clinic is not easy and I would not recommend dealing with this one. My first call I was told to call back because the clinic staff were on lunch...thank goodness it was not an emergency. My second call I was just asking general questions about their clinic and prices and the receptionist was quite short with "yes" and "no" answers. If this is the way they conduct themselves with new customers, what are they like with their existing cliente. I have not visited the facility or have any experience with their punctuality or monetary value. I am basis my rating on the staff, which means everything in my opinion.

We had been going here for years until Dr.Terp almost killed our dog. Our dog was diagnosed as having CHF by Terp. When asked what we should do, he said "Nothing" and sent us home. We get the impression he only cares about the money. A few days later, we sought out a second opinion, where we learned our dog SHOULD have been put on medication and lived for another year or so. Needless to say, we have not returned to Renforth after this experience.

I've been going to this clinic off and on for about 15 years now, with both dogs and cats. I have had poor experiences with Dr. Terp (owner). The other vets have been fine but my favourite is an older female vet (can't remember her name) who works at the clinic part time. She genuinely listens to your concerns and provides you with options. I always book with her and the receptionist always knows who I am talking about when I ask for the "older female vet). Although other reviewers may say Dr. Terp is a great surgeon, he's cold, unfriendly, and aggressive in that he insists he's correct. Even after I explained that I had brought my dog to an orthopaedic specialist, he didn't care and refused to provide the anti-inflammatories prescribed by the specialist. Great price for general visits though (yearly shots and check up). The clinic seems clean and there isn't too long of a wait to see a vet.

our 14 year old choc lab MAX was euthanized on June 1st with Dr. Daicos. After Max was sedated, before the final shot, she sat with me and Max and we talked about his life for about 20 minutes. She made the whole procedure so calming.....Dr Terp months ago performed eye surgery on Rusty our cat and he treated Rusty well and answered all questions I had. I have been going to this clinic since 1987 with all our animals.

We had taken our cat to the a 24 hour emergency because it was malled by a raccoon. Brought it in the next day to clinc to be looked at by a vet and we were treated like we had done something wrong.

Dr. Lisson was amazing!!! She was the nicest and most articulate, friendly vet I have ever met. She spent a lot of time with my pet even though it was just a needle appointment. She was genuinely interested in every aspect of his care. Best vet visit I've ever had.

They misdiagnosed two of my animals on two different occasions...one died, one survived after taking him to Guelph for treatment. Definitely the lowest prices, but at what other cost. I think Dr. Terp is a good vet, but the others...not so much! It was a GREAT clinic until Dr. Lixfield left.

Amazing and compassionate staff!! Sometimes wait time is long, but it is worth it!! Prices are considerably lower than all clinics in the area. I would highly recommend!

To begin with I must say that the staff at this clinic are wonderful, the Head Vet/Owner on the other hand is terrible. He is very unprofessional and treats both the owners and the animals in a very inhumane way. A friend had the experience of having to put an elderly sick animal down recently. He left her waiting for an hour in a room after he had sedated her pet before he did the final injection. It's bad enough to have to go through that to begin with but to leave a person, obviously distraught, for that length of time is nether being considerate of her situation nor being humane to the pet. I would not recommend going to this clinic
