Click to report rating    3/22/17   2     3     4     2   Staff seemed insensetive, unfocused, and did not live up to commitments. One time I called, said my dog had died, and would be over shortly. Walked in with dog in arms, and receptionist said "Oh who do we have today...? ". Second dog just died. Vet called him a she, and did not call back re blood work. Dog died 2 days later. RID: 63121

Click to report rating    9/22/15   1     1     2     3   My cat was very sick. The dr didn't seem to care. He never called me with blood results. I left a message stating just how sick my cat was and I never heard back from him. In result I had to take my cat to the emergency vet. Worst experience with a vet I've ever had! RID: 58488
Click to report rating    8/10/15   5     5     5     3   Brought my cats and exotics to Jim always. He is straight forward and efficient. No fluff from this guy. He is a straight shooter and tells you as it is to get treatment done quickly. RID: 57992
Click to report rating    10/10/14   5     5     5     5   I have been going to see Dr.Holmes for over ten years. I bring my dogs, cats and exotics to see him. He can come across as cold, however, it is not because he does not care, it is because he is impartial to the owner, and does everything in the pets best interest. Also, it can be expensive. He is licensed as a canine, feline, avian and herp veterinarian. You pay for knowledge, experience and a clean, professional facility. I will continue to take all of my animals to Dr.Holmes for as long as he is practicing. RID: 53990

Click to report rating    11/27/12   5     5     5     5   I have been going to Dr.Holmes for over 3 years now with my 3 cats and dog. He is an amazing vet who takes his time with my animals and explaining every situation to me. The staff are very friendly and sympathetic to every situation I have encountered and seen with other clients. I will continue to take my animals there and a lot of my family and friends feel the same way!! RID: 38734
Click to report rating    11/8/12   5     5     5     5   I have taken my five animals to Anderson Vet Clinic for the last 20 years and only have great things to say. He has neutered and spayed all of my animals and has completed two surgeries on my dog. He is very punctual and you always feel welcome at the clinic by his staff. They all show interest in the animals and Dr. Holmes always as the best interests of the animals at heart. I recommend everyone to take their animals to this clinic as they will get excellant care and compassion. RID: 38350
Click to report rating    8/27/12   1     1     1     1   Dr Holmes is a cold & indifferent vet I've had the misfortune to come across. He comes across as being emotionally dead and lacking empathy when dealing with animals...very indifferent towards animals and people it would seem. Not someone I would be reccomeding...Do not take your cherished pets here. RID: 36838

Click to report rating    6/2/12   1     2     2     1   Poor service with minimal explanations. They seem to be more interested in taking your money than caring for animals.I have friends who stopped going there for the same reasons. RID: 34685
Click to report rating    9/9/10   5     5     5     5   I bring my 3 cats and 2 dogs to Dr. Holmes for all surgeries, infections & illnesses and he has always does an amazing treatment. He has neutered them all, removed some of my dogs teeth that had rotted. He practically saved my one cat who I had found as a stray, his face and arms were missing large patches of skin due to an attack and with Dr. Holmes diagnosis and treatment, he managed to heal perfectly with hair growth. Click to report rating    5/4/09   1     1     1     1   my chihuahua broke her leg, got a cast put on there after 8 weeks she was yelling out of no where so i took her back and asked why shes acting that way.he said shes spoiled, has dead hair and skin and jsut wants her cast off. after 2 weeks she eat though her cast and was really bad under it. took her back told me it would be ok let me get another half cast put on and wrote in his pc that i said no to a 32$ infection med due to my financial situaton and told me to just use polly, and only found that out after i had to take her to another vet and spend 2500 to get her leg taken off because the first cast was put on to tight and her leg was died, as well the infection was all the way up her arm. stupid ppl couldnt even say sorry and let me spend more money on a second cast when it was died already for weeks! now please tell i would say no to a 32$ cream after i spent more then 1000 with him and 2500 with baker. if you want your dog to be alive go some where else!doesnt know what hes doing! Click to report rating    1/3/09   2     3     3     1   Dr Holmes misdiagnosed my cocker spaniel as having kidney disease. He suffered for 8 months with a mouth infection and finally had to be put to sleep. He was 14yrs old and would still be with me if he had been treated with antibiotics from the beginning. Very simple treatment could have saved him.I always wondered how a dog could smell so bad from an organ inside his body, but I totally trusted my vet. I should have gone with my gut feeling and taken him to another vet sooner. Would never recommend anyone to this vet clinic. Of course I have changed to a new veterinarian with my other 3 dogs.
