I've taken my dogs here for years. they have always been so kind to them, I always trusted I could leave my animals with them and they would be just fine. one of my dogs had to be euthinized because she was suffering from a brain tumor. they sent us such a card that they all wrote in, telling us that my dog had a good life and we did the best we could for her. it meant a lot. I can tell that they love our animals too. Dr. shcroader came to our house one time when we had to put our chocolate lab to sleep. she was an old girl and had bad experiences at the vet prior to moving to Oregon. we wanted it to be as calm as possible. I was grateful for the way she handled it and she even cried too. They had to keep one of my dogs for a few days and they told us they enjoyed working on him and he was such a good boy through all of the heart worm treatment, which is a hard procedure to go through. He didn't seem distressed from it. McMinnville veterinary hospital are good people.

Prices are the best in the area. If you are a regular customer the Dr waves a cost depending on what it is. Some times the wait can be long due to emergancies but that is to be expected. Staff is polite and efficient. Aways informs before doing anything and educates the clients. Highly recommend.

I had to wait for an unreasonably long time to be helped. My dog was given and I was charged for shots I did not authorize. The place is a complete dump. I could not believe it when I went in. They also charged more than anyone else in the area, but quoted about the same on the phone. They then handed me a huge bill when I was ready to pick up my pet. I had to pay it, so I could get my poor dog. I complained to the owner, Dr. Shroeder and she was very rude. It did not seem like they were in it out of a love for animals, which is something I look for in a vet. I am now taking my pets elsewhere and would not recommend McMinnvill Veterinary Hospital to anyone.
