My 12 year old Maltese had a tumour on her neck which was growing rapidly and needed to be removed. On top of that she also had infected teeth that needed to be removed. Dr. Christine Kim is a fantastic and caring surgeon who operated on my dog. Her competency equals specialist vets but at a much more reasonable price. She is also extremely caring and truly cares about the pets well being. The Dr. ran various test to ensure my dog will be able to handle general anesthetic. She also cleaned my dogs teeth (her mouth doesn’t smell bad anymore). I met with the Dr. again for a complementary follow up where she gave me so many different free sample to maintain my dogs clean teeth. I highly recommend this clinic and Dr. Kim.

I will not be going back to Blueridge Animal Hospital. I had to examinations for my dog for preventative heart treatment. Each time I was told my dog was fine and to comeback to get her checked again if she gets worse. She died four weeks after the last visit of heart failure because she was not on the meds she should have been. She had the exact same symptoms, she was not by any means worse. Was malpractice.

Sorry to say that although the staff is attentive and caring I was just quoted a price for extracting my 10 month old puppy's baby teeth that defies reality! Between $1388.00 to $1735 plus the $300 I just spent for examination , bloodwork and antibiotics !! Peace Arch veterinary in Whiterock just quoted me $650 for dental plus neutering ! How is this in any way justifiable ??? It is cimplete complete extortion . I will never return to this vet and will tell everyone I know to stay away !

Took a rescued dog in for medical attention, and after surgery, the little dog is a happy camper settling into my our home. Dr. Bridges and the entire staff were helpful, kind and very efficient. They were fantastic.

I transferred from capita no vet. Staff cold and rude. The staff runs around in disorganization. The vet I had an appointment with, revealed unethical point of views of other treatments. He was very difficult to speak with. Of course, implemented his treatment plan with no respect of working with natural path methods. When ready to pay, waited 15 mins since staff completely ignored me. I should have walked out and not paid. Rude when they ask what I needed, same person who booked me...and poor unresolved treatment of my pet. Awful and disorganized clinic!!!

I have had nothing but fantastic service at this clinic. Dr Kennedy and Dr McKee have both been very helpful and not always coming out having spent a fortune. They are very caring and knowledgable.

Worst animal hospital I've encountered in over 20 years of owning pets. My poor suffering dog went undiagnosed for over 4 months for a simple bacterial infection which could have recognized with a routine swab. Instead, I was told to return on 5 different occasions and given different medication each time (which were actually detrimental to his health) by 3 different vets. I finally went to a different clinic and after one visit my dog was properly diagnosed. I would not recommend Blueridge animal hospital.

Our vet of many years retired so we were in the 'market' to find a vet or clinic to do some dental work. We are so pleased we chose Dr. Kennedy and Dr. Milstein, even though it required an 1.5 hour drive for us! Dr. Kennedy is down to earth and realistic in her advise and we were very pleased with the dental work Dr. Milstein did. The cost was fair and reasonable, the office staff super helpful and professional. I've had many pets and seen many vets and highly recommend this clinic to anyone!

Dr Kennedy has been our vet for over 10 years. She is kind, compassionate and empathetic. My animals cannot wait to get in the door to see her. My old lab used to head straight for her office in the back when we arrived. Kim is one of a kind!

Dr Kennedy and staff were so kind to us when we recently had to put our dog to sleep. She took the time to explain to us what was going to happen. It was a calm and peaceful ending to a long and unhappy month for us who had our dog previously treated elsewhere. The other staff were equally as kind, patient, and professional which means a lot at a very bad time. Just wish we had discovered this clinic earlier.

We've not been with this vet for too long but in the short time we've been with them I am very happy. We've been to see them twice in the past month. Particularly Dr Kim Kennedy is wonderful. She is easy to talk to and realistic and it is absolutley clear she loves animals and understands them (and their owners!). I have been to many vets over the years and am so happy to have finally found one who has a good balance of care and professionalism.

Words cannot express how grateful I am to have found Dr Kennedy. My dog's condition had been terribly misdiagnosed by a another vet on the North Shore which subjected my little guy to weeks of unnecessary pain. Dr Kennedy was able to diagnose and treat my dog the same day and the after care was fantastic. It's a wonderful feeling to find a vet who truly has her patients best interests in mind. Thanks again!

Dr. Kennedy has been very thoughtful and accomodating as we try to diagnose my dog's hip pain. She only charged us for a re-test when extra x-rays were needed andshe has been very level headed about recommending additional, expensive tests.

I have gone here for years and they used to be much more reasonable with their pricing. But I have found them to be very expensive in the last couple of years. They charged over $900 to pull 7 teeth from my old cat! Dr. Kennedy is very kind and really does care about animals but if they over-charge for everything I can no longer afford to go there.

I've been going here for many years and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend both Dr. Kennedy and Dr. Milstein. In fact I took a ferry from the Sunshine Coast to go here rather than a local clinic because the prices were much more reasonable and the care was impeccable. I now live in Maple Ridge and still drive an hour to go there. The staff are great too.

This is a great animal hospital. You would be mistaken to think that because it is in north van it is expensive. It is reasonably priced. I have had 2 dogs taken care of from young until old and I have always known that they were given the best of care, without excessive money being spent on tests, etc. etc. They give you the best value for the best care--- period. Dr Milstein has a great hospital.
