I would no recommend taking your furry family members to this facility as I feel they are all about money and not the well being of the animal our dog had to have a Pyometra surgery. according to the vet she had an extremely bad infection, we were told we had to take her home to care for her as they did not have anyone to look after her that evening. She was on antibiotic IV so she needed to return in the morning for another round repeating the next day so I showed up as they requested me to do the following evening to pick her up at 8:30 only to find out that payment was needed in order to have us take her home. I asked if someone would be there to care for our dog that evening she proceeded to tell me no that it would be an xtra cost and would not let me take her home to care for her ourselves that evening. Our dog was left by herself at the facility overnight after major surgery and infection without care. As a family we were extremely worried about her and her well-being.

This was the worst vet experience I have ever had. I was worried about my dog during the labor day long weekend so I brought her in.(my regular vet was not open). your suppose to trust a vet since you would think that they are animal lovers to right? I had the cold shoulder right off the bat, he just gave me pills and new food and sent me on my way. I gave my dog it when I got home and decided to look at the difference between my food and his. Pork byproducts being one of the first ingredients??? WHAT! This stuff was garbage! I then checked the medicine he gave me. Over 50 side affects!!! I felt sock to my stomach that I trusted a vet to give me something safe. I will never go back there and I feel like he just brushed us off. He had no problem returning me my money in full. But the money was not the issue, it was what he sold me in a time of need to my family. It is sad when doctors pushes pills to make money. I am absolutely disgusted with this facility and it saddens me.

Absolutely wonderful! Took my cat in with a very serious uti they had the dr come in early and we're very upfront and honest about his chances. My fur baby is home and doing well! I could never thank them enough for saving him. The staff and doctors were very kind and sympathetic absolutely the best vet!

I have used this clinic for 7 years and am a medical doctor and have had nothing but excellent service. Posts mention smells which are disinfection needs in an animal clinic and I am only posting as is my second "social media" post in my life. I always read them with a huge 'half truth at best' and reading someone had a dog live for years after being told was going to pass, as the time of the post HAD to have been years before the post was made, and seems if very upset, would mention that shortly after being treated. Outside that, have zero reservations on the excellent treatment and knowledgeable doctors at the clinic. Know that they don't have the best chairside demeanour meaning are simply saying what is, and you will find no better doctors to treat your animals.

Do not take your pets here if you love them. They let my friends cat die. Told me my dog was gonna die and to leave her there...my dog ended up living for several years after that. They are rude and unprofessional. Told my friend they vaccinated her dog they did not and her dog got sick. This is a horrible place and should be shut down.

We used other vets in the area (for many years) and were always disappointed in something.... usually price - we found many vets to be overpriced and want to perform expensive and unnecessary exams. This vet office saved our dogs life, they have excellent hours and they are priced right. when our dog was hit by a car, i was allowed to sit with her in recovery and that made all the difference in the world to us. The accident did not bankrupt us either. i find this office to be professional, easily accessible (great hours) and very caring. I will continue to take all my pets here AND i no longer take my pets to their past doctors , where all i think they cared about was money - and charging alot for services that should not be so expensive. i am very happy to have found this veterinarian!

My spouse brought in his cat due to the cat having urinary tract issues. The vet mentioned, passingly, that the kidneys were "slightly enlarged", but when asked if it was something of concern, dismissed it. The vet prescribed Clavaseptin without mentioning the side effects. One such side effect is renal failure for cats. The cats symptoms continued to progress and on day 6 of being on the medication, the cat was brought in once again. The owner insisted on bloodwork during this visit and the vet assured that the results would come in 24 hours, and that they would call the owner. They never called, the bloodwork took 48 hours, and during this time the cat was in extreme discomfort. The diagnosis was renal failure, they told the owner that with a treatment that cost 600 dollars, the cat would "have a chance". After researching treatment options and getting a second opinion, it was revealed that there was no treatments for that degree of renal failure. The cat had to be euthanized.

Misdiagnosed eye cancer in Standard Poodle. Had to go to another vet clinic before it was detected. Spent a lot of $ on blood tests etc. only to be given incorrect diagnosis!

We have been using this vet clinic for several years, across a variety of pets both canine and feline. The *worst* thing we can say about them is that they have a tendency to tell it like it is, without a lot of sugar on top. As to the BBB, no they aren't BBB registered... which simply means they haven't applied. If you *check* the BBB ratings on them, they're listed as A+ rating. Which means that in the last three years, not *one* of the people complaining about the clinic was upset enough to file a BBB complaint. Sorta says it all, don't it?

I have nothing good to say about this place! I found them to be rough, the place is unsanitary and smelly, and they do not speak English well. The worse thing is when I took my kittens and our dog in be vaccinated, spayed and neutered, I later found out one of my kittens wasn't spayed, and my dog could not urinate properly for weeks after, Our dog who is 4, has just since died of Parvel, two days ago, and a new Veterinarian I took him to, was told by Family Pet hospital, that he had no vaccinations?? My daughter is devastated, our little dog was her best friend, and this could have been prevented. I would like anyone who has been ill treated by this vet to please contact me Tanzy_bc@hotmail.com and please Do not take your beloved pets to this vet! They are NOT BBB accredited either!!

These vets are awesome and the staff are extremely caring as well. My precious little pittbull tore her cruciate ligament in her leg, again. Both times I have taken her to this vet clinic. The doctors were very understanding and caring. They explained everything in detail to me. I wasn't sure if I would be able to fix my dog as the procedures are pricey. It was hard enough for me to come up with the money 2 years ago when she did it the first time. My dog is now 9 years old and I felt like she still had life in her so I wasn't ready to put her down. The doctors were so understanding of my situation and they gave me such a great break in the price that I was able to fix her. The doctors and staff at this clinic provided her with the best care and for this I am forever grateful. If there wern't doctors like this my dog would not have had a second chance at life.

I took my dog there in the early evening on a weekend - when my regular vet was closed. Unfortunately she had heat stroke. She was listless and unable to stand - a life threatening condition. The vet saw us right away as there was no one else there, but appeared completely uninformed - actually wondered why the dog couldn't walk and couldn't recognize what was going on despite what I was telling him. Did not give her an IV to hydrate etc. or perform anythign except to take a quick look at her and state the obvious. Truthfully, after returning home, I got better advice from the internet than I did from him. Young women at desk was pleasant but did not appear to be a vet tech. Cost of visit was $25 - but that's the only good part considering the seriousness and potentially bad outcome. My dog recovered but I will not risk treatment of my other pets at this location, and will pay for an emerg call or drive to Langley IF there's a next time. They charged us way too much to have a terminally ill cat treated.Extra tests were taken and an over night stay that should not have occured.They may charge less for some things,but they get your money by doing unnecessary things.The Doctor is very hard to understand.If you Love your animal do not take them here.

This place is noticeably DIRTY!!! Several days after one appointment my cat developed a respiratory infection, which I thought may just have been a coincidence, but when I brought her back to get this cured there were 2 other pet owners that came in with their pets that had also gotten sick after visiting this clinic several days before. I have been a pet owner for many years and I have never seen a vet that has terytowel covers on the examination tables that they don't remove for the next patient. I have always sen every other vet sanitizing the table with a disinfectant spray in etween patients. I went her because they were cheap and I was broke, but never again. Also I found this vet to be very pushy with suggestions that my cat didn't need it was so obvious he just wants to make extra money. Also no compassion.

I highly recommend this vet hospital. Extremely knowledgeable staff. Reasonable rates. And very very caring. I wish people doctors would be half as educated and compassionate. Don't second guess with your dog or cat take them here for top quality service.

These guys are OK for regular maintenance like shots etc. I would NEVER EVER take my pet here for something serious. You get what you pay for .... !

Took my dog who had been hit by a car there dr offerd me advice and helped me make the best desicion for him . RIP took 2 more dogs and 2 cats there to get spayed/nueterd , no problems and healed fast ,good prices for me :D

The Vets are WONDERFUL!!!! They do everything for all my pets! I have never had any issues! They have awesome Prices! Which have helped me in everyway! There facilities are clean and the Staff do a wonderful job keeping it clean! Friendly Staff and Friendly Doctors! I dont NO WHAT ALL YOU PEOPLE ARE TALKING ABOUT!

They are ok for the little things..such as vaccinations and spay/neuter..Otherwise I would never go there..Remember cheap is not alway good..I hate the fact that they do not speak english when they have patients/clients around the office. Some staff members are nice..but..They almost killed my dog..never will I go there again. I have lost trust in them.

All they have working for then is Min Wage (thats right 8 bucks an hour) Cute, Mindless Drown working for them, THAT ARE NOT QUAIFLIED!!
Do you want to pay for someone who is experinceless and unschooled to take care of your beloved pet? I know I will never again!

The Vets at this clinic are very caring and compassionate. They always ensure that everything is being done to help the animals. I will never trade these vets for any other vet in B.C.

Very very poor treatment for our dog. It felt like everything was delayed so that they could continue charging us for each service. Treatment delayed despite our permission to go ahead and treat the problem. Our puppy now has a very poor chance of survival due to their poor response. Will never recommend them and will never return.

I was very unhappy with this vet. Sure we were seen promptly but the staff and the vet spoke to each other in punjabi, which we do not understand. We brought in our dog because she was listless and had a fever. The vet although very gentle and skilled with drawing blood was awfully blunt with his diagnosis "Your dog has cancer and is going to die, just leave her here" Wow! this was our first visit here because our vet was closed. Follow-up with our own vet revealed no cancer, she just needed medication. That was in 2008 and our dog is still alive and doing fine. I would never go back here for any reason, and if you do go here think carefully about what you are told about the health of your pet!

The vets at this clinic have NO IDEA what they are doing, I have gone there on several occasions with my dogs and they were wrongly diagnosed each time by the vet, he didn't even check the dog's temperature when he was sick and vomiting! Also, my cat was hit by a car and they told me she was fine, then later phoned me to say she had to be put down and gave me a whole pile of confusing reasons, so I reluctantly had her euthanized only to find out later from a GOOD vet that she could have been saved. They are the reason my cat is dead. I won't even go to them for ANYTHING anymore, not even an emergency, if its an emergency late at night I drive to Langley, to the Langley Emergency Clinic. Don't go here unless you don't give a**** about your pet.

I have used this vet several times now and find them to be very caring. They will also send an animal out if they are unable to treat it, and their fees are very reasonable as well.

This office is absolutely awful!Staff are not so bad but the place has such a foul/urine smell at all times! Not clean at all even hygiene by staff is poor lak of hand washing and wearing protective gloves are lacking-cleanliness of supplies are not to my own personal standards.I took my pets there a few times for yearly shots that is fine- cheaper than anywhere else but if you pet/family member is ill not recommended at ALL.They miss diagnosed my dogs (2) kennel cough- in the end it cost me hundreds of dollars and them having to go on steriod meds.Are you aware that kennel cough shot is only good for 6months not a whole year and that is an airborne disease that oyur pet can contract just walking past an area where a pet was not necessarily physical contact needed.needs meds good place anything else RUN!!
