do not go here I took my small yorkie as she was in severe distress upon examination her temperature was 37.8 they then said they would need to do blood work so they could see what was going on After I paid the 360 dollars they brought me back my dog and told me that they would call me in the am with the results My dog got worse the night after several calls only to be told they have not receive back blood work I called a friend who is familiar with yorkies I explained the symptoms to my friend to be advised that she had hypoglycemia and to give her honey I started this every hour for 4 hours and my dog who was unable to even lift her head was up and running around again My dog was almost dead and still no results from blood work would be in for at least another day vet told me as she rudely hung up the phone

Most vets want to charge an arm and a leg. Cedar Hill was affordable and had great staff. It is not the closest vet to where I live but I will continue going there for the great service.

I have been bringing my animals to Cedar Hills Animal Hospital and I will truthfully say that, I have never had a bad experience. The staff has always been very understanding,compassionate, and professional when dealing with my pets.I have never had issues in getting an appointment, they have always been very accommodating. The care that Dr. Gill has given my pets over the years has been excellent. He takes time to answer any questions and I have heard him help ones in need. Know one knows the truth or the story behind a bad review, so don't allow this to turn you away from Cedar Hills Animal Hospital.This is a excellent clinic and your pets will be truly loved by all the staff.

This is the most horrible place to bring a cat! I would loose my beloved pet at Cedar Hills. Brought him in for an emergency because they were closer and open(was on my way to the 24hr animal hospital)My cat in 11.5 years was never sick, first time. The Vet failed to treat what I brought him in for, wrong diagnoses and the meds given was overdose according to his weight and only escalated his symptoms and made it worse. You will have to do your own triage, here. Needless to say my beloved cat, that I watched being born would loose his life their in a horrible way with me watching(I held him in my arms with his last breath). My cat who was my baby was not treated with respect let alone did the Vet care and had a smirk on his face after my cat was dead. I contacted the authorities that govern Vets in BC to check this place out. Go else where for emergency care and regular care if you love your pet!

We took our dog there for bladder stones and he gave him an xray with his harness on which caused the metal to reflex on the image, needless to say we had to have them all redone. The vet told us our dog had enlarged organs which sent us in a panic. Turns out his organs were not enlarged the slightest. The only benefit is this vet is open when others our not but I would suggest going to the emergency care center and paying more rather than going to cedar hills.

Our dog Willow got very sick on the weekend and we are so grateful that we were able to see Dr. Gill early on Sunday morning. The care Willow got there was outstanding, gentle, caring and comfortable to the humans as well as to our beloved dog. She was diagnosed with pancreatitis. Thank you Dr. Gill and Amanda for looking after Willow and explaining to us how to take care at home!

I had to make a difficult decision to have my dog put down.i as an owner was selfish and was not looking at the needs of my pet. He was old and it was his time. I could not of made a better decision in vet hospitals, the staff at this clinic were very compassionate and caring,they took their time to explain the procedure fully. Dr. Gill showed the upmost compassion for my pet. The decision I had to make was a difficult one but with the expertise and compassion of the staff I knew it was the right choice.

My boyfriend and I got an 8 week old puppy. 5 days after we got her she was very lethargic. We waited the night and the next day she was more lethargic didnt want to eat and vomited 3 times in about an hour. Cedar Hills was 1 of the only vet clinics that was open at this time of night so we took our puppy there. As soon as we got there the vet said he thought she had parvo and would have to stay the night. We left her in what we thought were good hands. For the next 3 days we received a run around. First she was getting better and eating and should be home soon, then she's worse and we need to do x-rays. Not once did they call to let me know how she was until they needed permission for the x-rays which means more money for them. We transferred our puppy, new vet doesn't think she has parvo, but now Dr. Gill won't fax over the records or email the x-rays. He supposedly run a parvo stool test, but neither or the 2 labs received the sample. Terrible vet, so negligent of an animals needs.

I have recently moved back in to the cedar hills area and have started taking my pets back to this clinic. I am quite impressed to see the improvements in the clinic, especially with the new doctor. upon reading some of the negative reviews, I was saddened. I have always found this clinic to be very clean, the staff have always been very helpful,caring, compassionate and knowledgeable. Dr. Gill, I found to be very reasonable in price, compassionate with the animals, in my case, he went through the list of options that my pet neeeded. I like that there is a groomer on hand,and they can help me with all my grooming requirements on my pet. Each owner has their own issues with their pets,and we do not know exactly what happened,I am sorry for those who have had a problem in the past. The past is the past, and the new doctor has the heart and the inniative to make improvements, everyone there is awesome and I strongly recommend this clinic. Great Job,

Doctor Gill and the staff are always helpfull and I never felt rushed. Doctor Gill takes a lot of time to explain to me what the possible causes could be, the test they could run. They are always gentle with my cat or dog and make them comfortable so they are relaxed and so am I

My dog has been going here for almost 7 years now!!! Dr gill & staff are wonderful I couldn't ask for any better, my dog has had 2 surgerys already with dr gill I'm very happy that she is in good hands with the awesome dr& staff & can't forget about there grooming next door...Awesome!!!

I would like to say that this pet hospital is the best I have ever been to. My friends and I regularly visit this hospital for vaccinations and we have never seen any problems. The new doctor Dr Gill is amazing. The staff and groomers are always kind and are always smiling. I would highly recommend Cedar Hills Animal Hospital.

We had very horrible experience here with our dog. Our poor dog has had 2 operations now BC of the mess this clinic has done with one single vaccination.They are lucky we don't sue them! Never take your pets here if you love and care about them. This place is needs someone who cares about the animals they work on not just about the money!

We switched to this vet after leaving the test-loving-money-hungry Cats at Home clinic. Dr Virani was excellent and we really liked him. We were sad that he has left the clinic. Dr Gill is very nice but because of his heavy accent we can't understand what he says a lot of the time. Receptionists are friendly and caring. Prices are pretty good and we are always quoted before anything is done.

I have been going to cedar hills for my furry members for 10 years to Dr Virani,with Dr Gill taking over I was little nervous, but when I met Dr Gill for first time, i was so much impressed with his knowledge and handling of my kitty who never likes vets usually, also liked Dr Gill . I wish Dr Gill all the best and would strongly recommend him.

I took my cat in cause it was very ill. The doctor said it had a liver problem and they needed to keep it over night and wait for blood tests. But that it was curable and they wouldn't do anything until the tests were back, even though he was sure it was a liver problem. I said just give it the vaccine to be sure and they wouldn't until they got the tests back. The next morning I got a call saying my cat had gotten worse and they wanted me to spend more money. before I could get ready to go there I got a call saying my cat had just died. So they just neglected to do anything until they had the blood tests and it was too late. But now they say they want me to pay the full bill. They are saying they did everything they were supposed to, although they told me they weren't going to do anything until the tests were back!? The staff there didn't seem to care or be affectionate about the situation. All they care about is taking your money. The vet didn't seem to even know what he was doing.

I have not one good thing to say about this place!!!Thousands and thousands of dollars have been spent here cause lets face it our pets are a HUGE part our family, and really i didnt know any better! Blood test after blood test and apparently all that was the matter with my 2 year old dog was a lil trauma from a recent surgury to remove a cyst! This so called trauma kept growing and growing so we brought her back for like the 40th time and yet another $500 checkup... finally the doctor sends us for x rays to a langley clinic. He looks at us in disbelief and says she has 3 major tumours and its too late...He cant believe how the vet at cedar hills missed this! One week later we are left without a huge part of our family..Not even 3 yet... thanks Dr Virrani for nothing but taking advantage of a loving and now devastated family

My experiance with this vet was horrid. I had to leave my bengal cat for a few hours for minor surgery. When I came to pick the cat up it was in severe shock. The vet had lost control of the cat with the needle stuck in its leg. So the cat was runing around with the needle mashing around in its leg. The cats leg has never grown back fur properly there. The vet just shrugged and said "sometimes this happens" Unbelieveable! Then they had the never to keep sending me cards in th email saying its checkup time again. Look elsewhere.

I TAKE ALL MY ANIMALS THERE, I THINK THE PRICES THERE ARE VERY RESONABLE. I AM ALWAYS GIVEN A QUOTE BEFORE ANYTHING IS DONE, I AM ALSO CALLED IF THERE IS ANYTHING ELSE THAT IS NEEDED TO BE DONE.. IT IS NOT DONE WITHOUT MY OK.

i went there once it was wayy to expencive 150 for a spay WTF i got my cat fixed at a cheaper place for 30 and the staff was way nicer and the office was way cleaner cedar hills sucks even my friends dont like FRAISER HIGHTS !!!

For the most part our experiences have been great. We have been abit taken back by one staff member. The doctor explained everything that we have asked. Everything that was needed to be done, was okay'd with us before doing!!!
