Our dog was cared for by Lougheed Animal Hospital for most of his life, right up until his last day. Dr. Singh and his staff have always been a pleasure to deal with. Lots of empathy, caring and understanding by them all. Today was my buddy's last day and Dr. Singh was quick, careful, thorough, and compassionate as he helped us ease our dog's pain and let him finally rest. I highly recommend Dr. Singh and Lougheed Animal Hospital for your vet needs.

I called 2 wks ago desperate for help with our dog's swollen/infected ear. Our 10yr old lab-cross is terrified of vet offices & lab coats.
The staff provided an estimate by phone (quite accurate), booked a Sun. AM appt for us, & then shuffled other appts to make time for the anesthesia & emergency aural hematoma surgery that same day. The office staff were very understanding of our pup's intense fear & they were calm & comforting. Dr Dhaliwal's surgery went perfectly and exactly as he explained it would work.
We returned today to have the sutures removed & the Dr offered to remove the sutures right in the waiting area so the quivering, semi-sedated 86lb boy didn't need to be moved. We're grateful for the experienced care, professional staff & fair prices here. Dr Dhaliwal was compassionate & explained everything clearly, he was kind and calm even when our boy wasn't on his best behaviour. We hope not to be back soon... but that is no reflection on the Dr and the office staff. Thank

DO NOT GO HERE. Took 1.5yr cat for booster/leuk vacc/exam.Dr Dhaliwal was incompetent, fearful of my cat & not confident.My husband checked her ears, mouth/gums while Dr looked fm a ft away. My husband was firmly/confidently holding our cat down while Dr attempted to vaccinate BUT when she yelped & moved her head to look at Dr (she wasn’t able to move, jump scratch/bite the Dr bc my husband was very firmly holding her) he pulled the needle out jumping away not having given the vacc he did this TWICE MORE stabbing her pulling it out w/o having given the vacc. I said Can you please get the vacc in her w/o stabbing her over again unnecessarily? He replied chuckling told me that he had to be concerned w/ getting bit. He called a tech who held her w/ my husband and Dr ONCE AGAIN stabbed her & pulled away w/o giving the vacc the 5TH TIME she was stabbed the 1st vacc was given, then the 2nd. She had to be stabbed w/ a needle over 6 times to give TWO vacc!Completely unacceptable! Terrible vet!

The best place in mission to take my babies. i wont go anywhere else for my fur babies medical needs. The drs are both so amazing i have 2 mastiffs and a pitty and all three love the drs! the lovely ladies up front are always so friendly walking into that place i feel welcomed. The prices are very reasonable and they dispense medication right there for me to go home.
When my lil pitty had to stay over night they let me visit everyday how ever many times i wanted it helped make a bad situation better. they walked him multiples times during the day and always had clean kennel with the best food.

I have been going here for the past 5 years and I recently had to put my cat down here, the doctor was very understanding ( due to my money situation) and gave me a discount and the staff were very supportive and made me feel very comfortable when making the hardest decision of my life. The doctor did everything he could do before I had to make this decision, he did xrays, bloodwork and months of medications. I wouldn't go anywhere else for my pets because they are very reasonable for pricing and understanding to my situation ! Thank you lougheed animal hospital

I've been taking my animals here for years and have no complaints! I love both Drs and most importantly both my dog and 3 cats love the Drs here wouldn't ever want to go anywhere else! The added bonus is the amazing girls up front they are always so friendly and very passionate about their jobs.

Don't take your animals here unless you support a man who likes to yell at his staff! He treats his staff like they are his own personal door mat. He throws his staff under the bus and will call them out right in front of the clients he doesn't care. I only know this because this is what he did when I was their just trying to buy some food! He's just in it for the money. Don't support workplace abuse !

Our 9 year old spaniel's right eye seemed to look odd rather suddenly. We were also dealing with chronic ear infections. At another vet, we explored addressing his ear under a general anesthetic, requiring a blood panel pre-anesthetic. Much to our surprise, he had a very high white count, meaning an infection. Too high to be coming from his ears. We felt it was his eye. This vet felt it was a bladder infection, more money and antibiotics for this, urine came back negative, no infection. We took the blood work results and went to this vet. Dr. Singh tried a different antibiotic. But, the eye did not improve, he then arranged an ophthalmology consult. No glaucoma, but a mass behind the eye. Dr. Singh quickly arranged an ultrasound doctor to come to the clinic, and under ultrasound a tumor was found, and fine needle aspirates done, which revealed an infected carcinoma tumor.No charge for two head X-rays. A quick referral to an oncologist at our request. No price gouging, highly skilled.

I have a 14 year old cocker spaniel that recently had cancer. I took her to the lougheed animal hospital and they were amazing. Bailey had a 2.5 lb Tumor removed from her abdomen. They got her into surgery within a day and she was home 2 days later. They also fixed some issues withi her teeth while in surgery. Once home I could tell she was better all ready but still need to recover. 2 weeks later she is totally healed and is like a new dog. The dr's told me she could even live for 3 more years. That would make her 17. I feel the price was reasonable for the procedures and the staff was friendly, helpful and kind. Both the Dr's I seen were great and very informative and never pushed anything on me. They gave me options and pricing and let me decide how I wanted to proceed. I would rate this clinic a million stars if I could. They saved my dogs life and also made her 5 years younger. Bailey is full of energy and ready for the summer. She will go back to the clinic for a new hairdo Next!

We had our cat spayed here. That operation seemed to go well, but whoever they got to tattoo the ear was lacking in experience. Now our cat has a huge ID tattoo in her ear that we definitely were not expecting. My advice is to be very clear on what you are asking for when you get a tattoo because they do not seem to be very concerned about aesthetics.

These bad ratings make me wonder if they are even real... We have always brought our puppies to DR.Singh & His partner. They treat our puppies very well. They charge fair prices & we have never had an issue. We are very grateful to have found this pet Hospital & we will continue to bring our puppies in forever :) ~ HW

OKAY i wish i had known about this website sooner and all my opitons to report these scumbags!! NO ONE TAKE YOUR DOG HERE!! I had the worst experience of my life here. I have a dachshund i got almost a year ago i brought my dog here and this **** misdiagnosed the sex THE SEX and not only did he tell me i had a boy when i had a girl he felt inside of my dog and said it had undescended testicles which i later found out was **** and she was a girl i could go on forever the whole story is unbelievable but im on this site now for only one reason im not gonna stand for this im taking this vet out i went to legal aid and im exploring my options anyone who wants to take this jerk down with me comment lets make a difference and make sure no more animals or owners go through this **** lougheed animal hospital your going down!

I had just moved to Mission, and my 3 month old Ragdoll kitten needed her 2nd shots to I took her here. The office is nothing special, somewhat small, the girls at the front were nice, however the Vet did not seem to care for my kitten, and it was difficult for me to understand him due to his accent. When I asked him questions he would not directly answer them but just say it needs to be done. As I did not understand him, I was mislead into paying $10 for deworming which I felt was unnecessary as she had already had it and she is strictly an indoor kitty. Deworming was often a complimentary offer with my older Kitty as well as nail trimming-which was not provided with the visit. Number one reason I will not go back is because the Vet did not treat my kitten as anything special, and I must say she is darn cute! I do not trust him to perform any surgeries on her and so I will be taking her elsewhere for her spaying. I wish I found this site before I went there!

I have had nothing but satisfactory dealings with Dr. Singh. I have 3 problem rescue dogs with various extreme medical problems. You just need to communicate openly with him about your feelings on the type of care you want for your beloved pet. He is open to your suggestions. I trust him and he really seems to care about the animals.

Terrible clinic. Thought I would go there because they were 'cheaper'... Disorganized,dirty facility. I don't think vet even likes cats. Went went back to my regular vet only to discover I was overcharged for medication. Vaccination records all messed up.One look at the waiting area should be enough to make you turn around.

OMG best veterinarian in the fraser valley !! Absolutely recommend going to this vet in mission. The doctor cared for my dog so much, he saved my dogs life.. I'm so grateful i went this vet and the staff is amazing, so caring also dr. singh gave me a discount and very good pricing i was in shock how they did such a good job! recommend going here 100 % . i will refuse to go to any other vet. My dog is alive because of dr.singh

Dr Singh saved my dog after ingesting antifreeze, three days on dialysis and gave a discount on the hospital stay. He also performed surgery on both of my cat's eyes and the surgeries were an absolute success. He has diagnosed and successfully treated dire health problems for both my daughter's cat and mine. All this and they are accessible 24/7. I have dealt with several Vets around Mission before and am totally trusting of Dr Singh.

Dr. charged me an extra 15.00 for clipping an inch [if that] of fur off a hot-spot on my dog. Too quick. Diagnosis was right. Ear infection. Tried to charge me for an after check which I did not know about. Then tried to sell me more antibiotics for a sore that was healed fine. [I have worked with animals all my life]. Staff wasn't very caring, too busy chatting behind the desk. Prices were reasonable but they try to get you on other things even when there is a sign that says they won't. Very empty office. I did not pay the post-check up. Even if I had the money, I wouldnt have. Got in easy but it wasnt busy. I will find someone else next time.

Our family friend of 15 years suffered after a botched euthanasia attempt at the hands of this **** (Dr Singh.) He doesn't seem to even like animals from what I can tell. I've since heard this from others as well. When our dog had finally passed away, he had nothing to say and couldn't duck out the back door fast enough. Didn't show his face the rest of the time we were there. This was easily the most terrible thing I've ever experienced in my life. His assistant (I don't recall her name) was fantastic and it's a shame she has to work for this guy.

If you really care about your pet you will not go to this veternarian. I have two dogs and took both there on different occasions. One of my dogs had a large lump on his face and the doctor decided to remove it instead of sending a sample to a lab. The result was that the eye was affected (it shouldn't have been) and my dog lost most of his sight in that eye. The other dog was taken there not long after in an emergency and he operated on him. Five months later my dog was still ill and suffering and had to go to another vet who diagnosed the problem in 30 seconds! Whatever you do, don't trust this vet. He is very nice and lovely with the animals but obviously doesn't have the skills needed to be a good veternarian. He is making way too many mistakes.

WENT TO SEE ANOTHER VET TO FIND OUT THEY MISDIAGNOSED HER!!! AN ENLARGED THYOID, RAPID HEART RATE, FRAIL FRAME SHOULD OF BEEN DETECTED UPON THE CATS INITIAL PHYSICAL EXAM!!! Dr. Singh has a very calming affect and communicates very effectively. He is very gentle with my cats and also quite patient with the owner (me). I have had a very traumic experience where I lost one kitty and he was very compassionate and caring to be me and my kitty. Despite my aggressive approach of everything needs to be done NOW and nothing or anything matters more, he managed to comply and also compel other professionals from other facilities to comply with the urgency I insisted upon. I highly recommended this Vet.

Was told that I had to remove my dogs eye due to cancer. He is took quick to go for surgery without taking a biopsy or trying something else. Took my pooch to another vet and was given some eye drops to use daily - the result was that the problem disappeared. My advice is that to go somewhere else. The vet is a nice person but I think he needs more training.

Dr. Singh seems to be caring and is very patient with my miniature pincher who struggles like crazy. He does not push more things than are required and takes a step-by-step approach. Much more affordable than the other vet I went to in Mission (although they are excellect too, just VERY expensive). Punctuality is excellent and hours are great too. Staff encouraged me to call when my pets have been in for dentals to see how they are doing and the doctor talks directly with me! Facility could be a little larger but overall it appears clean.
