I love this vet. He cares about the animal more than money. A very intuitive which eliminates unnecessary testing which saves on your pocket....I would give him 10 stars

First, I brought my cat in for a vet's certificate to take him on a plane (in the cabin). While there, he took it upon himself, without asking, to fill my cat's ears with gunk. Either the amount he put in, or the fact that my cat could no longer equalize the pressure in his ears, caused him to go deaf. I brought him to another vet after that - but he was worse and at least my cat seemed not to hate Dr. Schaubhut. Next visit, he could not identify what was wrong with my cat - so he just put chemicals down his throat to kill fleas! My cat has never had a flea. Yes - we had just come cross country in a car and camped out = but my cat did not have a single critter on his body. But he put these chemicals in my boy knowing that his kidneys were failing. I asked him afterward he did this if he might have ringworm and lo and behold - he did. How a vet does not check for this - is beyond me. My friend suggested it might be what the problem was - over the phone.
