WE had our cat euthanized at this vet recently and were shocked at the bill total. We foolishly didn't ask for a quote first. I don't know if any other vet has a REASONBLE price for the same service. The alternative was to let the cat die a natural death, but we didn't want him to suffer.

The positive reports are very suspicious and likely planted so be careful. This is a common practice when there are many bad reviews and this is an attempt to boost up the score. Trust is an important ingredient in any professional but I felt I was subjected to a used car salesman who was trying to sneak everything under the rack. Before you give them your Visa, look at the bill because you will find unnecessary billings that are too late to argue once you have paid them. CONSUMER ALERT. I don't think his handling of pets is bad but his ability to generate income should be commended. His staff are also complicit so they must be used to this schtick. But you could tell their angst. I have been told by many people including a major pet daycare that he is sneaky and not that good but all I was asking for was the simple yearly vaccine. How he could pull out double the going rate and justify it was poor professional standard and worthy of a call to the College.

Our cat was blocked (can't pee), and we brought him in to Willowdale and they did urine, came back with lots of crystals. they gave me an estimate and OMG, you do not want to know $$$$, at that point i was already thinking of selling one of my kidney. Then one lady in my building mentioned TCAC, that they bring their dog to this clinic and they are very happy with the service and the cost. I figure, what the HEY! i called immediately and i spoke to the tech name Rozell, and she is very informative and i can tell she knows a lot. she suggested to bring cat in and to cut cost asked me if the previous clinic did any testing. By the time of the appointment, they are ready to talk to me about what has to happened which i obviously know. They made an estimate which BTW, it is way lesser than the other vet. They did MANGINA surgery on my cat, and ever since he is good and peeing just fine and no problem since. These people saved my boy and I REALLY RECOMMEND THEIR EXPERTISE.

Our pets are like our children and we have the best there is as far as vet care of our "fur kids". We had an American Eskie who had a lot of health issues. Because of Dr. Badri & his team, our Eskie lived to over 16 years old. We now do Rescues (dogs and cats)and we take them to Toronto Central Animal Clinic as well, because we know that they will get the best care & compassion there. Actually to be truthful, we wish that they could treat humans, we'd have them as our health care professionals as well. We have recommended Toronto Central Animal Clinic to quite a few people that have been looking for a good place to get good vet care for their "Fur Kids" The place to go for good Vet care for your "Fur Kids" is Toronto Central Animal Clinic.

They have taken good care of our puppy. He was diagnosed with parvo 2 days after we got him and they took great care and brought him back from certain death. Roselle is the greatest asset at the clinic. Everyone loves her.

I will never recommend this clinic to anyone. We recently went thru a heart wrenching experience there with our young dog. By the time we were done we were milked for $600 and went home without our dog. Nicole, the one who sits at the front desk, is extremely cold, rude, and unprofessional. I'm shocked to read she's planning to be a DVM. Dr. Badri has no bedside manner at all. Dr. Raza is much nicer. Still, take my advice and run as far away from this place as you can get! We were told it would cost $140 to have our dog put to sleep, cremation included would be an additional $40. We were so upset when it came time to pay the bill, we neglected to notice Nicole billed our credit card for $278 and we didn't even have our dog cremated. We took him with us. Once again, RUN! And RUN FAST!!!! Absolutely horrible and dishonest when it comes to check-out time. Never, ever again.

I am very satisfied with the services at this clinic! I have been going since April 2011. My dog has had a few visits, sometimes consecutive, and they waived the consultation fee in these instances. When there is an emergency, they were always willing to see her on short notice. Dr. Raza is very thorough, cautious, and takes time to talk to you and answer all of your questions. The assistants are lovely and cared well for my dog while she was hospitalized. No joke, this is better than human health care.

My wife and i have been seeing Dr. Badri for 10 plus years... He is just great with all of our dogs and cats. To say we are fans is an understatement! The staff rocks also. Cheers David, Fern and Magsadoodle

My dog started vomiting multiple times one night and so I brought her in. They did all kinds of treatment that cost me $1300 and recommended we perform exploratory surgery ASAP on my dog. I got a second opinion from another vet and they sent the xrays to an expert radiologist who said the xrays were inconclusive. What gives?? I do have to say that Dr. Raza is great (he is the younger vet), he's gentle with my dog, listens to my concerns etc ... But Dr. Badri, well ... watch out for him. He poked my dog 5 times before finding her vein!! And he babbles on ... doesn't even let you talk/ask questions. That's also why I didn't trust Dr. Badri to perform the surgery (he's the senior vet, so he does the surgery)

For the sake of your pet and wallet don't take your pet here. Terrible service and unnecessary treatments.

My encounter with this clinic was bad from start to finish. I took my geriatric cat in for a small abscess on his upper lip. The vet attempted to sell me expensive diagnostic and treatments like laser surgery. I felt I had to demand the basic treatment first(ie antibiotics).I was charged for a fine needle aspiration which meant that they stuck the needle in,couldn't get anything from the abscess then charged me the lab fee($45.00) , even though nothing could be looked at under the microscope(time: 3 seconds, cost of one needle and syringe:about $0.10).Then they didn't have the antibiotic, which had to come from one of their other clinics, which took two days due to a blizzard.Their reception/tech staff wasn't familiar with the basic lab work abbreviations on the computer, and the owner assured me he could do bloodwork that he didn't actually have the equipment for. Slippery truth = potentially dangerous vet.

I brought my dog in over the xmas holidays of 08 since he was vomiting excessively. After a litany of tests (totaling over $1200) the clinic failed to recognize the results from one of these test that indicated pancreatitis. As a result of this oversight, the clinic recommended another series of tests costing extra money. Of course, the vomiting hadn't stopped for another two weeks which almost killed my 11 yr old Lhasa Apso. Finally I decided to go to my own vet (who had been out of town over the holidays) and he read the initial tests and was shocked that they hadn't notice the obvious results indicating pancreatitis. After one short treatment, my dog recovered and is now back to normal. Not only did this clinic miss the diagnoses, but they almost allowed my dog to die and cost me an extra $1000. I managed to get some of the money back but only after many denials and heated arguments. I wouldn't go to this clinic again even if they were the only one available.
