Severe lose stool on my dog led me to Seminole Animal Hospital in Sanford. Due work constraints my son brought her instead. Having dogs most of my life my fears were confirmed when her fecal exam tested positive for hook worms. She was sent home with a total of 5 de-worming medicine syringes Almost week later condition persists. When contacted, they told me my son had declined medicine for diarrhea and should take her back in. I declined this time. My issue with this? THE main reason to bring her in was the diarrhea. How can the medicine be optional? A monitoring service commercial comes to mind, where they identify the issue but don’t fix it? Taking her back means an additional visit fee and medicine that should’ve been included as part of the treatment. SAH charged more for the same ailment than my previous clinic before moving to Sanford, where this was corrected literally overnight Lesson learned! a rip off. I much rather drive the 25 miles to their old Vet. Very disappointing!

I never took a pet to a run-down clinic than 5 minutes from my home. I'd drive 30 minutes away to get care for my cat. She passed away February 1, 2015, at the age of 13. I now (1/2/16) have two kittens, Harry, 7 months and Houdini, 9 months. I noticed that, before I got them, the facility appeared to be renovated. After going online and learning that the business had been sold to Dr. Mole, I looked at the website. Both kittens have been going to Seminole Animal Hospital since I got them. Houdini is going in for a routine visit today. We are going to become VIP members because this is where my kitties will get their life-long care. The Dr. and staff are wonderful! I can't say enough good things about them! Better run. I'm supposed to be there now! ;)

I thought a long time before writing this. But considering the hellish pain and un-necessary suffering my dog endured, I decided to register this review; I will sign my full name to it. Dr. Borgman ignored my husband's suggestion that my doxie seemed to have a neck issue; instead, he diagnosed her with terrible constipation. While she suffered one of the most painful conditions an animal may have - a ruptured disk in her neck - Dr. Borgman put her through an enema and a bath. Yes, she was constipated, but it was because she was unable to drink or eat due to intense pain. AVS successfully treated her. Either because AVS or my husband contacted him, Dr. Borgman did leave a phone message with me, inquiring after Kiwi's health and offering to meet. I do not want to talk with him. Ever. He put my friend through needless pain, her people through considerable expense and his office staff through rude treatment when we tried to recover insurance. He knows who we are.

My dog has had a skin condition for the past few months. I have gone to 3 different vets in the area and no one seemed to have an answer. Lake Emma charged me over $300 to run all kinds of bloodwork. Lake Mary Animal Hospital gave him a steroid injection that worked for a little bit. Valuvet just seemed to scratch his head plus I couldn't understand the vet - I think he doesn't speak english too well. Dr. Borgman from Seminole Animal Hospital finally seemed to figure out that the skin problem (and ear problem) are probably flea related - who would have guessed? - Now 3 weeks later - we are finally getting relief! Don't get me wrong - this vet is not cheap - but he knows his stuff - and had I just gone there in the first place - I would have saved myself a lot of grief.

Great vet. Convenient evening hours a couple days a week. Dr. Borgman gave me a bunch of articles he wrote in the Orlando Sentinel about puppies and stuff. That was kind of cool that he writes for them. Makes me feel like he is a little more cutting edge and current if he was hired as an expert for a newspaper and I think he was on one of the tv stations as well - one of my friends mentioned she thought she saw him on one of the morning shows.
