I have been to this vet twice, once for a very sick rabbit, the other for my dogs shots and health check up. Had a positive experience both time. I like the "Patch Adams" feel of the place. Extra time was spent with my bunny due to her illness and all options for her treatment were explained. I liked the informative and friendly environment with the staff, unlike other Vet Hospitals, which were more interested in your money then your pets needs. I would go here again.

I have been taking my many animals to Dr. Roerig for years and have alwyas found him and his staff compitant and caring. Ask anyone in the community about Glen Manor Veterinary Hospital and I'm sure you'll hear nothing but praise. This 9/2/09 review is mean and slanderous and has turned this internet review forum into a weapon for disgruntled ex-employees

With 2 dogs and 2 cats and several moves we have experience over a wide range of vets. Let me get to the point -- Dr. Roehrig is Great... the best, period. He talks to you, he's intelligent and caring, he's good at diagnostics. I cannot speak of his children (why is this important?) and, yes, the facilities are the downstairs of a private home and they are cramped and a little ramshackle. And the post-op space is pretty cramped. But I went to many vets with new facilities that were jerks. I guess it depends on what you value. I'll take Dr. Roehrig and messy waiting room anyday. We nicknamed him Patch Adams because of his sloppy, but caring ways. The mess is what happens when you take in stray animals and help with adoptions. These are things to his credit, not detriment. I would not entrust my animals to someone else.

Caught the kids of this vet kicking their own dog & the kennels where dogs where waking from surgery & crying, wife performs outside of her certs and it may be her doing your cats neuter instead of a lic vet, DIRTY facilities, horrible place to go, will euth any animal even non clients without question because as they put it its better 2 kill them then have them moved from home 2 home, I wonder if it were her kid if she'd feel that way, kids are OUT of control and are allowed to run amock in the place without parents having any control and we're talking teenagers, I believe one has a mental disibility but they don't watch him and he's very violent towards the animals I'd never take my animals here, I worked here and quit immed this place was a joke to put it politely. they allow 2 cats on 1 exam table which causes fights and his wife punched a cat in the face because it was upset there was another cat on the table and was growling at the other cat, so wife punched this cat in the face!

I don't care if the vet is unfriendly, as long as he or she can do the job. I'm afraid you have neither kindness nor aptitude here.
