I put 3s not based on my experience but because I had to put a rating in to list the wording below. So disregard the 3s rating above.
I have never used this vet however, in talking to people about what they pay, it seems that Dr. Guazzo charges some people practically nothing and others a lot more. She should charge everyone the same price REGARDLESS of how much money she thinks people have. If someone pays less that means that you are subsidizing them and you may not want to do that. Plus it may look like some people have no money but , in fact, they do have alot (off the books jobs, etc). Rescues are a different story and should pay less.

We have brought our two cats to A Cat's Place for six years now since they were kittens. We love Dr. Guazzo; she is very knowledgeable and we see her true love for animals. The vet techs are very friendly and caring. We highly recommend this vet for your cats.

I took my kitten there who was having some continuing diarrhea problems. The staff and vets there were very kind and were able to get my kitten back to health with medication that I had give her for a couple of weeks...it was quite a relief! I had never been there before and they stayed late to take my appointment which was really really nice! They were very responsive to my follow-up calls too. I really appreciated their expertise and genuine concern for my kitten! Thank you, A Cat's Place!

I brought my cat to this vet for a recurring ear and respiratory infection which they and another vet could not diagnose. We established that the cat responds to antibiotics for a while, then eventually gets sick again. I spent nearly $1000 to get no diagnosis, which was ok as long as the cat could be treated. When the cat got sick again, however, I was told I needed to come in and put the cat through yet more exams to get the medicine that would help it. They knew the situation but would not help the cat, and I could not afford to go through the same thing for another non diagnosis just to get the medicine. My cat died a horrible death due to the respiratory condition developing into pnemonia that a simple antibiotic would have helped. They are greedy and cruel, and I am so sorry I ever trusted them to help us.
