I have used this Vet for sometime, and have always brought my dogs to see Dr Om even after we left the area always made the drive just to see him. He always seems to have the pets best interest at heart and seems to genuinely care. Recently we had to have one of our dogs euthanized and was the most traumatic experience I and my dog could have went through. Dr Om was not there and it was two young guys doing the procedure. She was muzzled without need and panicking, they started directly with trying to put in the intravenous line with no sedation first as any experienced vet would have done causing my dog even more stress. We had to stop him and tell him to sedate her first which he even had trouble with. By this point the whole experience had become so traumatic for my dog and myself I was already in tears. This is not what I wanted for my dog who's last memories were now of panic and trauma. He finally got the intravenous line in and completed the procedure. I will never be returnin

I have visited Cloverdale Animal Hospital in the past and it is an extremely dirty location. Even since they have moved instill don't find it to be very sanitary. We seem to be convinced that this place is cheap so that is what brings me back but maybe I should have shopped around. I mean once uouyour animal is dead you seem to gain a different perspective on the medical care you were given. As in my case I took my cat in two months ago and said I knew something wasn't right. Okay so my cat didn't get hit by a car or attacked so there wasn't anything obvious standing out but I knew something was not right. But Dr Om told me my cat was fine. He didn't see anything obvious suggesting she was sick. Well two months later and she is dead at 10 years old. Full kidney failure. He suggested blood tests two months ago when I went in but did not say this is what we have to do to find out what is wrong. I mean 70% of cats develop kidney problems so I have recently learned so why wasn't the test o

Dr. Om is caring, competent and good value for your money. He is efficient and sensitive with the animals but does not overdo things or charge for unnecessary procedures. We are extremely happy with him and his office and would highly recommend him and his staff. When our prized German Shepherd was hit by a car in our driveway, he did not start x-rays and blood work right away--- he examined him carefully and thoroughly and had us watch him for any issues. We appreciate his common sense attitude towards our pets and would give him our highest recommendation.

Dr. Om is awesome! After our dog was recently attacked we have spent several days (at least 25) in the past two months at the clinic. His staff are all awesome and very helpful! Our dog required two surgeries and they were very affordable! He is always honest and doesn't charge for a lot of stuff other clinics do. I would have easily paid double at my previous clinic and they were not near as helpful and friendly! Our dog also required surgery as a 3 month old puppy and Dr. Om was amazing! Our dog always heals beautifully and Dr. Om always reassures us and is very helpful with any questions! He goes above and beyond to guarantee the highest level of care. Our dog had to go back daily to be flushed out and checked and Dr. Om is always awesome with him! I would recommend him to anyone!

Dr Om is a very caring man. His staff are all very nice all the time . I.ve gone to him for help and was givin it . His new clinic is so small. all new and shinny. His other office was worn out. And RATS !!!! please. never seen any or dropings. I cleaned up for him at times . i love the laid back homey feeling from thhis vet and staff. Yes go to him!!!

Very good service and very nice staff. I brought my dog in because he was hit by a car.I called his cellphone at 2 am and he came right away. Surgery took an hour and a half. Gave me a very reasonable price. Dog is great now and we are coming back for a checkup.I would highly recommend this clinic.People who don't like the look of clinic i would still recommend it because they are moving to a new plaza across the street by Staples.

He is the best vet I have ever had. There has never been a smell of urine unless an animal had just gone to the washroom which was promptly cleaned. Tables , trays and all areas have been sanitized right in front of me. I have never seen evidence of rats as other people claim. I have been using and recommending Dr.Om for over 8 years. During the time I have known him he has saved the lives of many animals, and always been professional, While making you feel as part of the family. I also know that if a procedure is not absolutely necessary. I will not be charged for it. By my count he is the best vet in the mainland.

Dr. Om is a very nice person and the price range is cheap, but I found his office and exam room was very dirty, there were rat droppings on the floor. When I took my dog there to have a lump on his leg looked at Dr. Om refused to have it biopsied for cancer, even when i asked him to do so. As a vet Dr. Om does lack confidence and is difficult to understand at times. I have switched vets, and yes it is more expensive but I guess you get what you pay for.

I have nothing but positive things to say about Dr Om. He is very caring about our animals and our feelings for them. He does not order unnecessary tests or procedures to make a buck. He just wants your animal to be healthy and happy. The facilities could definately use a facelift for those who focus on appearances but i disagree with those comments that it is not clean. I have smelled pet smells upon entering at times but other times there is no smell at all... it depends on what time of the day and what animals and emergencies have been dealt with that day. We have brought our two cats and our dog to Dr Om and we have recommended him to family. We have every confidence in his abilities and when we had to make a difficult decision about the care of one of our cats (15 yrs old) he sent the tests for a second opinion at no charge to make sure his recommendations were the most accurate he could make!

The facilities were very unsanitary; the exam table was soiled and they only wiped it with a towel they took out of the dirty laundry. The vet was in his bare feet. He was nice enough, but didn't instill confidence in his knowledge. There was no lubricant in evidence for rectal thermometers. The price was cheap, but we didn't feel safe for our pet's health having him there because the place was so unclean and it looked as if they were cutting corners on things to save money. It made us wonder if they would do this on something at our pet's expense.We would not recommend them and will not use them again.

Went for routine dog spaying. Hard to judge since it's a routine procedure. The staff is very friendly, but the place stinks bad of urine, and the facilities are old. The prices were good though, and there are no complications so I can't complain. I wouldn't go back for any sort of diagnosis due primarily to the facilities.....oh, and I found it odd that they had a Seasons Greetings card on display on Labor day weekend.
