We took our Bengal cat to see Dr. Om yesterday and he was totally amazing! He did her spaying two weeks ago and she recovered beautifully. We really liked him as a person but also as a veterinarian. He handled our pet with the utmost confidence, and I think even our kitten loved him! We recommend him highly.

We have tried everything within our knowledge and ability to find relief for our dog but i only hAve so much knowledge. After "losing our file" between my arrival and my turn (ignored appt time), we then had three different staff members BS through an intake sheet. The vet eventually did a very minimal once over, offering me nothing i did not already know. The conclusion was to then do a $180 blood test to tell us if any signs of diabetes or other more serious illness were present. We were told to return in 20 mins. Less than two minutes later, as we had barely exited the door, we were told it was finished and we were free to go, promised next day results. This was bizarre but 4 days later we have been given endless excuses from emergency surgeries to multiplee staff giving us the run down of the personal issues apparently impacting our results and treatment. If you have an ounce of concern for your amimals' health and wellbeing, steer clear of this place!

I have used this Vet for sometime, and have always brought my dogs to see Dr Om even after we left the area always made the drive just to see him. He always seems to have the pets best interest at heart and seems to genuinely care. Recently we had to have one of our dogs euthanized and was the most traumatic experience I and my dog could have went through. Dr Om was not there and it was two young guys doing the procedure. She was muzzled without need and panicking, they started directly with trying to put in the intravenous line with no sedation first as any experienced vet would have done causing my dog even more stress. We had to stop him and tell him to sedate her first which he even had trouble with. By this point the whole experience had become so traumatic for my dog and myself I was already in tears. This is not what I wanted for my dog who's last memories were now of panic and trauma. He finally got the intravenous line in and completed the procedure. I will never be returnin

MyChihuahua 6 lbs had teeth problem. I had tough time to find a reliable vet coz so many crook vets out there. I had bad experienced w Little paws, richmond. Fortunately, my friend introduced me to Dr.Om. and my friend has been his royal customer for 10 years long. And I took my dog there just for a try. We knew my girl was gonna have teeth extraction. So Dr. OM told me to give her sugar water before I take her to his place. So that we can keep her sugar level in normal level. Which I never had any vet told me to do that and that shows that he was care about my baby girl. Then when we picked her up after the surgery. She was fully awake and happy. Dr. Om told me he fed her some food while she was waiting for me to come. Coz she hadn't eaten any anything since morning until 3pm. About old comments about his hospital was not clean. I believed that was past. He moved to new building and the office is clean to me. Staff, Nancy, is a sweet n friendly lady. Dr.Om Thx 4 take care my girl!

I work at an animal hospital but my friends newborn puppies were in need of help and this clinic was a lot closer. The front staff was very nice over the phone but The room we were in was disgusting, looked like the walls haven't been cleaned since it opened. There were dirty/used supplies all over the counter as well. Our doctor was extremely rude and did not care one bit about our sick puppies. (didn't offer any help just pretty much gave it back and said it's going to die) He was also very condesending. Very bad experiance - Would not reccomend :)

I have visited Cloverdale Animal Hospital in the past and it is an extremely dirty location. Even since they have moved instill don't find it to be very sanitary. We seem to be convinced that this place is cheap so that is what brings me back but maybe I should have shopped around. I mean once uouyour animal is dead you seem to gain a different perspective on the medical care you were given. As in my case I took my cat in two months ago and said I knew something wasn't right. Okay so my cat didn't get hit by a car or attacked so there wasn't anything obvious standing out but I knew something was not right. But Dr Om told me my cat was fine. He didn't see anything obvious suggesting she was sick. Well two months later and she is dead at 10 years old. Full kidney failure. He suggested blood tests two months ago when I went in but did not say this is what we have to do to find out what is wrong. I mean 70% of cats develop kidney problems so I have recently learned so why wasn't the test o

Dr. Om is caring, competent and good value for your money. He is efficient and sensitive with the animals but does not overdo things or charge for unnecessary procedures. We are extremely happy with him and his office and would highly recommend him and his staff. When our prized German Shepherd was hit by a car in our driveway, he did not start x-rays and blood work right away--- he examined him carefully and thoroughly and had us watch him for any issues. We appreciate his common sense attitude towards our pets and would give him our highest recommendation.

Dr. Om is awesome! After our dog was recently attacked we have spent several days (at least 25) in the past two months at the clinic. His staff are all awesome and very helpful! Our dog required two surgeries and they were very affordable! He is always honest and doesn't charge for a lot of stuff other clinics do. I would have easily paid double at my previous clinic and they were not near as helpful and friendly! Our dog also required surgery as a 3 month old puppy and Dr. Om was amazing! Our dog always heals beautifully and Dr. Om always reassures us and is very helpful with any questions! He goes above and beyond to guarantee the highest level of care. Our dog had to go back daily to be flushed out and checked and Dr. Om is always awesome with him! I would recommend him to anyone!

Dr Om is a very caring man. His staff are all very nice all the time . I.ve gone to him for help and was givin it . His new clinic is so small. all new and shinny. His other office was worn out. And RATS !!!! please. never seen any or dropings. I cleaned up for him at times . i love the laid back homey feeling from thhis vet and staff. Yes go to him!!!

Saw Dr. Om for the first time today with my very large uncooperative dog that needed a tooth pulled. He was great, highly efficient and didn't overcharge. Yes the facilities are not new or fancy but I will gladly accept that in order to get great vet care without the big cash grab. I want to pay for the care not a huge fancy clinic. Thank you Dr. Om!!! Very happy :-)

Very good service and very nice staff. I brought my dog in because he was hit by a car.I called his cellphone at 2 am and he came right away. Surgery took an hour and a half. Gave me a very reasonable price. Dog is great now and we are coming back for a checkup.I would highly recommend this clinic.People who don't like the look of clinic i would still recommend it because they are moving to a new plaza across the street by Staples.

He is the best vet I have ever had. There has never been a smell of urine unless an animal had just gone to the washroom which was promptly cleaned. Tables , trays and all areas have been sanitized right in front of me. I have never seen evidence of rats as other people claim. I have been using and recommending Dr.Om for over 8 years. During the time I have known him he has saved the lives of many animals, and always been professional, While making you feel as part of the family. I also know that if a procedure is not absolutely necessary. I will not be charged for it. By my count he is the best vet in the mainland.

Dr. Om is a very nice person and the price range is cheap, but I found his office and exam room was very dirty, there were rat droppings on the floor. When I took my dog there to have a lump on his leg looked at Dr. Om refused to have it biopsied for cancer, even when i asked him to do so. As a vet Dr. Om does lack confidence and is difficult to understand at times. I have switched vets, and yes it is more expensive but I guess you get what you pay for.

My 12 year old found our purebred doberman cut wide open down his whole side so deep that we could see his rib cage at 7:00pm on a holiday monday. I called Dr.Om who was at home, he raced to the building and performed a 2.5hr surgery and saved our pets life no question about it!!! this is the second time Dr.Om has performed surgery on our pets and both were very successful! My Doberman is alive today only because Dr.Om cares, My cousin (also a vet of large animals) couldn't believe how affordable he made it for our family of four and he has also seen our pet and said he is healing great!! We are on our way now to see Dr.Om to have stitches removed. Thanks Dr.Om!!!!

I have always received excellent care here, they love the animals and it shows. Yes the building looks old but it is very clean. I have never seen anything otherwise. I have been bringing my dogs and cat here for some time and will continue to do so. They even gave me a free dose of de-worming medicine for my cat after I was unable to force feed her the initial dose successfully. Other vet clinics over charge and try to justify their prices in ridiculous ways - this clinic is bare bones but I trust them with my pets.

Dr. Om and staff are very kind people. I wish I found him before. Sure the building ids old and in need of a face lift. He's not about cutting coners, he's about caring for animals and their well being. He sings to them always and this calms the animal. Dr Om also cares about the pet owners as well. And I reconmend him to all pet owners. Thank you Dr. Om for your help and the care you give to animals.

I have nothing but positive things to say about Dr Om. He is very caring about our animals and our feelings for them. He does not order unnecessary tests or procedures to make a buck. He just wants your animal to be healthy and happy. The facilities could definately use a facelift for those who focus on appearances but i disagree with those comments that it is not clean. I have smelled pet smells upon entering at times but other times there is no smell at all... it depends on what time of the day and what animals and emergencies have been dealt with that day. We have brought our two cats and our dog to Dr Om and we have recommended him to family. We have every confidence in his abilities and when we had to make a difficult decision about the care of one of our cats (15 yrs old) he sent the tests for a second opinion at no charge to make sure his recommendations were the most accurate he could make!

I would NEVER EVER take my dog here again. We had an emergency, my chocolate lab accidently swallowed a miniture tennis ball while playing. If we would have left it alone like the vet told us to, my dog would have DIED. Luckly I asked for a second opinion from Mainland Emergency Vet and they were amazing!

We have a 3y/o Westie. We've been bringing her to Dr.Om's vet clinic since she was a puppy. Our dog receives excellent care from Dr.Om. He is very affordable and, unlike alot of other vets, he doesn't over charge on his prescriptions or his vet fees. Dr.Om's office is old, but its ultimately about the care that your pet recieves. We highly recommend Dr.Om's vet practice.

DR.OM is a very sweet person and genuinely LOVES animals. And, I love him as a person too. BUT, I feel he just doesnt have enough experience yet. Not being able to diagnose mange, giving heartworm tests when it barely exsists here and no symptoms were there, kitten there was dieing of worms and was treated for something else and did die. But, it was a feral littler from the bush. What other vet would take them in and care for them? He is a good man and not out for the money, if he would work with a very experienced vet, he would be top in a few years. And yes, surgery room had old blood and rooms dog hair on the tables. Its too bad, he has what it takes and could turn this around!

The facilities were very unsanitary; the exam table was soiled and they only wiped it with a towel they took out of the dirty laundry. The vet was in his bare feet. He was nice enough, but didn't instill confidence in his knowledge. There was no lubricant in evidence for rectal thermometers. The price was cheap, but we didn't feel safe for our pet's health having him there because the place was so unclean and it looked as if they were cutting corners on things to save money. It made us wonder if they would do this on something at our pet's expense.We would not recommend them and will not use them again.

the conditions in this office are horrendous. Rat **** in the waiting area and the stench of urine. Vet was nice enough, but unwilling to let me look at the lab reports for the tests I paid for or transfer them to another vet. Very unprofessional.

Went for routine dog spaying. Hard to judge since it's a routine procedure. The staff is very friendly, but the place stinks bad of urine, and the facilities are old. The prices were good though, and there are no complications so I can't complain. I wouldn't go back for any sort of diagnosis due primarily to the facilities.....oh, and I found it odd that they had a Seasons Greetings card on display on Labor day weekend.

Excellent Vet, Dr.Om is the only vet my dog has ever liked and has not reacted badly to. He has the best prices and his staff is very knowledgeable. He saved my dogs life after someone poisoned him with rat poisoning. I have recommended him to all my family and friends and he is the only vet they will use now. They are open Mon-Sat 8am-midnight, Sun & Hoidays 9am-midnight and also have after hour emergency services.
