Click to report rating    5/24/19   2     5     1     1   We brought our persian cat thinking it was one of the best in the region, we were mistaken. This turned out to be our last time because our cat had to be put down and that was the good part because we were lead to think we had some chance of saving our beloved pet. We were talked into having test done on our pet over two hours of testing and a cost over a $1,000.00 to have our pet torchered for two hours before we were told nothing could be done and the testing they attenpted was unsucsseful. The most horrific day for both my wife and I and our poor pet, To our pet Willow may you forgive us for bringing you to this place of tortured for you. Date of occurence was 2016 and to this day we can't believe Waldon hospital put us and our pet through this. I would never go back or recomend anyone to bring a pet. Mike C. Sudbury RID: 68053
Click to report rating    12/21/17   1     1     1     1   HORRIBLE EXPERIENCES ON SEPERATE OCCASIONS! Initially, Walden cared for all 3 of our dogs. At one point we were forced to change vets for our Bulldog as he was very ill and after several appointments and months of care we brought him to a different vet for a second opinion. That was the best thing we could have done for him as he was wrongly diagnosed and treated. He requires emergency surgery in Toronto to save his life. Walden refused to cooperate and hand over his records, eventually we had to go in and DEMAND them. TODAY, we had a seperate incident as our tea cup Yorkie, who had been their patient needed emergency services and Walden flat out refused to see him today because we transferred our files for our Bully to Chelmsford. I’m SHOCKED & disgusted with them, it’s actually unbelievable to me. Our Yorkie is admitted to hospital tonight with severe Pancreatitis. SHAME ON WALDEN HOSPITAL RID: 65242
Click to report rating    10/13/17   2     4     4     2   I think it depends on the vet.I had one vet at this clinic tell me to give my cat regular antihistamine tablets that were normally meant for an adult person(this was for a skin condition). I was skeptical about this but trusted the vet and went out and bought this and gave it to my cat when I got home. I went out briefly. When I got back home, my cat had thrown up all over my apartment and was extremely ill. She could have died from this medication. I was not very impressed as this vet obviously didn't know what she was doing. The clinic did not apologize to me. On another occasion I was charged $2,500 for one surgery on only one cat. Although I am grateful because the operation saved my cat's life, it should not have cost this much. If a person didn't have this kind of money, or a credit card, they would have had to put their beloved pet to sleep instead of save them. When you think about it, it's absolutely counterintuitive and ridiculous! This is what you call a MONEY GRAB ! RID: 64835

Click to report rating    2/25/17   5     5     5     5   My dog was very scared for her 1 year shots. The Vet there was so patient with her when she would squirm away from every needle. When the two additional techs came in to assist they calmed her right down and was able to successfully complete the shots. I feel bad for my dogs behaviour but I am very pleased with the way they treated the situation, not only did they have good advice they treated her just as lovey as I do at home. Very caring staff.  2/25/17   5     5     5     5   I have had dogs all of my life. In the past I have dealt with 4 animal hospitals in my area and have not been satisfied with the quality or the cost of the hospitals. This hospital is excellent for service, cost and most of all caring staff. I feel 100% confident with them. The drive for me is a little bit of a hike but is worth it! Thank you RID: 62825

Click to report rating    2/25/17   5     5     5     5   I have had dogs (and cats) my whole life. Have been to many Vets over the years. All I have to say is, I hope Dr. Carolyn never retires! I will never bring my dog anywhere else. Our current fur baby has had her fair share of Vet visits in the 1st 2 years we had her. Amazing Vet! And very reasonable prices....actually, the best I've ever seen! Thank you! And keep up the great work! RID: 62821
Click to report rating    2/25/17   5     5     5     5   Always excellent service, the staff is friendly but best of all care as much about our pets as we do. Kuddo to them all RID: 62819
Click to report rating    2/24/17   5     5     5     5   Every time we go, no matter what for, it is always a pleasant experience. The staff is great with my pets and me as well and the doctors are amazing. I recommend them to everyone I know who has pets. RID: 62818
Click to report rating    2/19/17   1     4     1     3   I had the most terribly experience initially with a snotty front receptionist named Ashley, followed by an ignorant condescending vet. I have heard numerous complaints about Dr. Sues, my experience solidified that I will never return to this clinic. Dr. Sues seemed immature and inexperienced which is ok because everyone needs a chance to learn. However she was the most condescending vet I have ever dealt with, yes I know you are educated however you do not know the animal I am bringing to you so please take a moment to listen to your clients, just a moment. You have nothing to prove. I certainly hope that Dr. sues is being mentored by a more senior vet who can perhaps teach her the art of being humble and kind. Drop the arrogance. There are plenty of vets in the Sudbury area who will overcharge me, however most of them will treat me with a little bit of respect. Visit Walden Animal Hospital the facility is great and they do a lot for rescues but avoid Dr. sues at all accounts. RID: 62739
Click to report rating    4/18/16   5     5     5     5   We have been dealing with this excellent clinic for over 10 years & we are very happy with the quality professional care that Dr. Carolyn Lariviere & her staff have always given us. They are very compassionate & accommodating to us when we bring our tripod pet dog Sport there for medical treatment. I always recommend this clinic to my friends. RID: 60332
Click to report rating    7/30/15   5     5     5     5   Staff are incredibly accommodating. When another clinic failed to diagnose and treat my animal in an emergency, Dr. Cara was able to do so in 45 minutes. She cares not only for the animal, but for the pet owner to understand the animals health. Intelligent staff and very caring. Could not ask for a better clinic! RID: 57867
Click to report rating    1/23/15   5     5     5     5   I first brought my senior german shepherd to Walden when he developed a sac near the base of his tail. They determined that my dog had prostate cancer, but helped to explain how we could keep him comfortable for the time he had left. (We did not want to put him down at the time.) We were so impressed by their caring and service, that we now bring all our animals there. We have special needs animals (tripod chihuahua, Siberian mix cat who had both legs operated on for FHO.) Click to report rating    3/18/14   5     5     5     5   This is the best veterinary clinic I have ever been to! My dachshund and I see Dr. Gander. She is the most caring, personable, calm and compassionate vet. My puppy was sick and losing weight. She guided us in the right direction and now he is doing very well. They always make room in their schedules for emergency situations and are super flexible. I would highly recommend this animal clinic. RID: 50565
Click to report rating    3/9/14   5     5     5     5   This is the best veterinary clinic that I have ever dealt with. Superb veterinarians who listen and are supportive and a very caring staff. They are all very approachable, prompt, and have many services available in-house. For an emergency, you are not sent to some other clinic. RID: 50402
Click to report rating    3/6/14   5     5     5     5   I took my cat there last May he was always throwing up.Doctor Youppi preformed dental surgery removed 7 teeth. He has never been better, plays more.Never throws up but his fur balls.I would recommend them anytime.I used to go to Chelmsoford never again. This was the best move I ever made. The staff is so understanding, always willing to help, very polite when you call.Hours are really good.Even if your pet gets sick on weekend you can still someone from that clinic. They know your pet. Can't say enough about them.Good work!!!Keep it up. Click to report rating    9/1/13   5     5     4     5   Had to wait a bit for my appointment, but the lobby was real cozy. My dog was vomiting a lot but the vet took it step by step and I felt like I was making the choices. Opted to try meds and it all worked out. Very happy they didn't insist on X-rays. It was a choice, but they didn't make me feel like crap if I tried meds first. The nut in Espo fired my sister for being 2 months late on shots! Never mind. Walden will be my vet from now on. RID: 46678
7/5/13   1     2     3     1   I took a kitten there as he had purple spots in his eyes. They diagnosed it as herpes and gave him eye drops. I read upon herpes and freaked out because we're a home of a few cats, and it has been known to take its toll. I went back for a check-up, turns out they never knew it was herpes, it was just one of many possibilities but they decided to use it as a diagnosis. Not impressed. They also told me he would have no vision damage, which is a flat out lie as I can see vision damage with the way he tracks toys. RID: 43488
Click to report rating    10/30/12   4     4     4     1   We took a dog for a Spay--but I ticked off, "'Do Blood work""---They found her BUN too high--never did the Spay--but presented me with a bill of $850 ---without the Spay--They reduced the bill to $700----still too much---- Now we can't afford the Spay---They never used to overcharge----Maybe they have too many vets there now on salary!----We will not go back--after 15 years---We were mostly ignored-----felt like we weren't very important after going there so long--- Never will I go there again--I would think, they, being the professionals, wouldve advised us as to tests needed----didn't happen---BEWARE!!! Ask a lot of questions---We didn't!- RID: 38161
Click to report rating    11/2/11   5     5     5     5   Quality facility with caring staff. Would recomend to anyone. RID: 28783
