We had the best possible end of life experience with Dr. Rob Hillerby and the Health Care Team. They scheduled us in same day, gave us all possible options and displayed genuine care and compassion. We were not hurried and had the last of our quality time with our most precious Darla made memorable. We highly recommend.

Dr.John is excellent but rarely there. Service is OK but value for the money is definitely lacking! I have been a customer of this facility for many years and watched service decline & prices increase substantially. Would NOT recommend this clinic to a friend.

We love this clinic. The vets are so wonderful, thorough and reasonable. They don't push medications or treatments not required. Prices are reasonable too. Dr John performed TPLO surgery on one of my dogs, 5 years ago. He's still doing great, no limping and other leg is still strong after following his instructions. They have also started a blood donor bank, which is nice :)

We had been going to Dr John since 2000' when we first got our dog Ariel. We had tried various other vets in the area before finding Caledon Mountian, and were very disappointed with either the care, atmosphere or pricing. They had the care of Ariel for almost 12 Years and very happy with the experience. Unfortunately we had to euthanize Ariel in 2011 (2 days before Christmas) staff and especially Dr John were very supportive and allowed us to take our time with her before (we were with her for over 2hrs before we could allow it to be done) they also kept in touch with us after to check on how we were doing as they knew how precious Ariel was to us. That being said when we decided to acquire another companion we immediately went back to Caledon Mountian. On our second visit we met Dr John in the reception area and he remember us by name and also Ariel, that just added to my comfort level with thee care I know Brady will receive in their hands

Dr. John really screwed up on my dog's cruciate ligament repair. My dog was limping and toe tapping even more and worse than when I brought her in 3 months before he performed surgery on her. After a consultation with him in person, several emails and videos showing him my dog was struggling and not doing well after 3 months of recovery he still had no answers as to what the problem was and no recommendation or further testing. I had to bring her to another surgeon where he had to repair the initial botching of the surgery Dr. John performed and also by now my dog had sustained damage to her meniscus too which needed to be repaired too which was in tact prior to the Surgery Dr. John performed as per his notes. It cost me 1500.00 for a botched surgery and no help or support afterwards from Dr. John. It cost me another 1500.00 to fixed Dr. John's mess by another surgeon. Not happy at all!

Dr. John went out of his way to fix my Italian Greyhound's leg break last year. The clinic was amazing, the price was lower than I was quoted from an inexperienced surgeon in Newmarket, and my dog was hiking 8 weeks after surgery. Dr. John is the absolute best and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him and the clinic. I live too far for regular vet care, but for ortho issues I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Dr John is fantastic. Great vet. Staff, however, has deteriorated in the past few years. We have found another vet in the area. Too bad because this place was wonderful at one time.

After 5 yrs. of a horrible vet and clinic in Mississauga I was referred to Caledon Mtn. I could not have asked for a better clinic. They really care about you and your companion. THEY ALWAYS DID THE PROPER DIAGNOSTICS, never anything unnecessary. I took my companion there for several years and when it was time to euthanize him they were just as concerned and caring as ever. I trust them 100 percent. Unfortunately, this is a rare thing these days. Do yourself and your companions a favour and give them a try.

Amazing vet clinic with an excellent team. Like other reviewers, I drive a distance to see them. My pets have always had the best care, and their vet team is always warm, friendly and informative. I appreciate the follow-up calls and emails to ensure that my dogs are on the right track. Highly recommended, especially to anyone during a "crisis".

He is amazing. I drive 45 minutes to see him because he is the best out there. If you have any doubts - don't...call and make an appointment. he fixed my Abby's ACL and she is perfect.

Dr John fixed my Kelpie's torn ACL and did a fantastic job of it. Also the 2 physiotherapy appointments that were included in the price are a great idea and something most vets don't have. I like that those and the final exam and x-rays are all included in the surgery price you pay when you pick them up so you don't have to worry about extra expenses afterwards. The staff there are very good and take the time to talk to you in depth as well as address any and all concerns you have with compassion and caring. They also forward all records to your usual vet at no charge which is something most vets won't do nowadays without an argument and alot of money.

Dr. John is fantastic. He listens to what you're saying and takes the time to explain things to you. We live in South Etobicoke and drive to Caledon to see him. Our previous vet diagnosed our perfectly healthy 8 year old dog with early onset kidney disease. We took her to Dr. John for a second opinion. He ran additional tests and a urine C/S (they didn't at the other place) and diagnosed her with bladder/ kidney infection which was cleared up with antibiotics. The previous vet was still adamant that it was kidney disease. So glad we got in to see Dr. John for a second opinion.

I love this clinic and we get the "noah's ark discount" All of the staff are wonderful and their first priority is our pets - but they are great with pet owners as well.

Dr. John is an incredible vet who really cares about the animals. Excellent with rabbits as well. Its always a pleasure to deal with him and I higly recommend him!

This is what veterinary medicine is all about. Dr John is a very caring vet who isn't in it for the money, truly concerned for your pets well being. I travel from Oakville to take my dogs here (a one hour drive.) Hard to get an appointment with him now because he's such a good vet. Prefers to vaccinate only for what is needed (no yearly shots - blood titres every other year to measure immunity to each disease) My dogs are 10 & 9 and are in EXCELLENT health thanks to Dr John and my bank account isn't empty also thanks to Dr John.
