Click to report rating    6/10/14   1     1     1     1   My cat had several serious health problems and needed emergency care late 1night.We went to dr.Keith frickey, unfortunately. He badgered us to put her to sleep over and over.He even said she had a seizure when we were right outside the door of her room.We rushed in,in like 2 seconds, and no sign of a seizure. He said she gave the "death cry". We authorized a transfusion, and 2hours later he wanted to put her to sleep again. She gave a pitiful cry when he came near her.He said to remove her from there, then,so we did to another emergency vet.It was worth every penny. We would not have had it if we had listened to dr.frickey and put her to sleep when she was in no apparent pain, although he claimed she was, then changed it to "discomfort".He is crass and heartless in my opinion and I will never go back there. And to the nurse who complained about my cat's body fluids on her top,too bad.You didn't Even wipe her face once for the 1,800.00 we paid you. This vet is worst we've ever known, never return.      11/6/11   1     1     1     1   My dog was hit by a car this morning. I rushed him to pevc to be told he had a strong pulse so there is something to work with but you have to pay up front. Which I couldn't do. I don't have 600+ just lying around. Needless to say my children held a funeral for him this morning. Rip rocky we love you. RID: 28889
Click to report rating    9/29/11   1     1     1     1   they let my cat die because they want to charge me to tell me if something i thought wasnt poisonous was or wasnt toxic . rip pc RID: 27966
Click to report rating    3/23/11   3     4     4     2   My 3 month-old 20 lb. puppy ate a Zoloft pill. Instead of just calling Animal Poison Control, I rushed her to the Emergency Vet...big mistake. They made ME call Animal Poison Control once we got there (costs $60 to call them) and they made her throw up before they even heard what Animal Poison Control had to say...turns out, 1 Zoloft won't hurt your dog...but they had already made her throw up and charged me $100 for the visit. Ridiculous pricing and the doctor didn't know what she was talking about. First she told me the Zoloft would make my dog very hyper...poison control said it would sedate her. When I told the vet that, she said "oh, well it could do that as well." What the heck? RID: 23784

Click to report rating    3/1/09   5     5     5     5   My dog was hit by a car and in critical condition when I took her to the EVC. The staff was fast and gentle getting her out of my vehicle and showed compassion to me during this extremely stressful time. The vet on duty was very professional and had amazing bed-side manor. They did everything they could to save my baby girl and were able to stabilize her condition. Yes the cost was high, but so is every other emergency hospital even in the human world. They were able to save dog and for that I am forever thankful! RID: 11916
