Strong heart. No murmers she said. 2 days later brought him in for cleaning. Dropped off at 7:30. No water after midnight they said. Took so longsocalled tocheck on him at 1:50...they said he was already in surgery. Come get him at 4:30. At 3:39 they called to discuss some sad news. His heart stopped and he was gone!!!! So my boy waited in a kennel for at least another 6 hrs without water. 13 hrs total at least. Was given a good heart check 2 days prior and is now dead? Al5hough there are known risks with any anesthsia....they were neglectful and i will NEVER believe otherwise. Rest in piece my prince ricky....the guilt i feel for trusting them is unmeasurable. Click to report rating    5/3/13   2     1     1     1   Sadly, am very disappointed with my experience. Staff were polite but disorganized. My cat's spay incision has opened up and looks infected. I could not get her back in at petsavers to be seen (they will not call back) so I'm at my regular vet. This discount spay will cost me double. RID: 42252
Click to report rating    3/16/12   1     1     1     1   While waiting to drop off my cat I could see an employee through a window screaming at a puppy for crying. Finally dropped my cat off, confirmed the price, & was told I'd be called from 1-3. At 3:15 still no call, so I called them. Nobody answered the phone. I went down there to pick her up & the receptionist was rude, telling me I should have waited to be called. She said my cat had been spayed at 3 and wasn't ready to go home yet. This was at 3:30. They close at 5. My poor cat had to sit in her crate for 7 hours before surgery and hadn't eaten in 20 hours. Then they overcharged me. Complained to a mgr & was told to deal with it, they're still the cheapest place in town. Then he told me the animals aren't examined pre-surgery, or monitored after except by untrained volunteers. They cut a lot of corners and have untrained, unqualified volunteers with no credentials "caring" for your pet. That's why it's so cheap. Go to a real vet. It could save your pet's life. RID: 32951
Click to report rating    3/22/11   1     1     1     1   Made an appointment, they told me to bring a carrier, stop feeding after midnight and arrive at 7:30, I arrived at the appointment I found out there it was not a set appointment just when they get around to it. and my cat would be taken care of some time in the late afternoon depending on how many cats they got in. The cat would be in a small carrier for several hours while waiting for the operation. RID: 23737
Click to report rating    1/10/10   5     5     5     5   I LOVE PetSavers! I take my 3 dogs there for their vaccinations. They are super affordable, and it's a walk-in vac. clinic, so it's very quick and you don't have to just sit around and wait. They don't charge you any ridiculous exam fees or office visits, like my vet did for shots. It's a flat $12 per shot if your dog is fixed. Plus, if they find anything that needs taken care of during the spay/neuter, they will call and ask if you want it taken care of. They did a tooth extraction for $10 and fixed a cherry eye for $50. I'd called 4 different vets about this, and the lowest quote I got was $138, so $50 is AWESOME! They are always nice to me and my pets and are very quick and efficient. I have never once felt taken advantage of. I will definitely continue taking my dogs there. RID: 16078
Click to report rating    6/7/07   5     3     4     5   We took our newly adopted kitty to them to be spayed and they answered all our questions, got the job done, and also took care of her ear mites at no extra charge...the ear mites that Banfield had already charged us $60 to cleanse and treat her for and wanted an additional $60 for second treatment. While the facilities are lacking, they do the best they can with what they have. I would go there again. RID: 4417
Click to report rating    12/1/06   5     4     4     5   If you work with them, they'll work with you. Most of them are volunteers offering their own time and services; they believe in what they do. RID: 1014
