Click to report rating    7/5/15   3     4     4     4   Do not take your English Bulldog to this clinic! Your Bullie will be treated as a breed, not an individual.Things were different years ago...the current owner treats EB's as having tragic defects just like "all the others" and disregards unique needs of your individual pet. I have experienced this decline over several years.Caution! Not advised for English Bulldogs! RID: 57637
Click to report rating    4/24/15   5     5     5     5   The vets at this clinic have changed since the other reviews online. They are now Dr. Matt Schmidt and Dr. Luther McConnell. I followed them here from their previous location in Mead. I LOVE both of these vets! They are kind, compassionate, personable and take truly excellent care of my (many) pets and rescue animals. Dr. McConnell recently removed a huge and tricky tumor from my dog's back leg, and Bubba is doing spectacularly. Some years ago Dr. Schmidt saved one of my cats who suffered from a liver infection, and he also did a knee surgery on our lab mix. Both Dr. McConnell and Dr. Schmidt have seen us through some sad losses of our beloved animals (thankfully, all were related to old age), and they and their staff have been wonderfully compassionate. I trust them unreservedly to recommend and provide the best care for all my beasties! Their staff is also the best--competent, courteous, professional and nice as can be! I would recommend this veterinary clinic to anyone! RID: 56773
8/29/11   5     4     5     4   I am a a huge pet lover and my dog is my baby. I see Dr Sutton for all of my little girls visits. I've been seeing Dr Sutton on a regular basis after having some issues with the other vet Dr Pfarr. I was told things by him that didn't make sense and when I did some research I was shocked to find things he recommended were strongly opposed by other vets. He seems nice enough but maybe not as knowledgeable as he should be. I was a bit upset when I called to make an appt with dr sutton and they said they didn't know when her next work day was. No one explained what was going on. I know she was pregnant last time I saw her but she assured me she would be back. I hope she is back soon she is so compassionate and my little girl loves just as I do. I don't know what I'll do if she doesn't come back. I guess I'll have to find her or switch vet clinics. She takes such great care of my girl and always takes time to pet and love on her when we visit. RID: 27248
Click to report rating    8/25/11   5     5     5     4   I am so thankful for Dr. Sutton. She had been my dog's vet for the last 6 months of his life and she was there with me when he was laid to rest. She cared deeply for me personally and cared just as deeply for my dog. She always explained in full detail everything she was going to do to my dog and always provided me clear options, never pushing me in any direction. She will continue to be my dog's vet once we decided to get another one. I also appreciate the front desk gal's kindness as well. I have gone to this clinic many times and have never had an issue. Click to report rating    3/29/11   5     5     5     4   I go to Dr. Phar, he is kind, talks to me not at me about my pets. I love the receptionists and the care my vet gives my dogs. He often does not charge for office visits when you get shots. I agree dr. Sutton is young, all about the business not the relationship one has with their animal. I wonder if she is a animal lover at all. But I do not have to have her, I can make an appointment with Dr. Phar when I need to go in. RID: 23941
Click to report rating    11/4/10   1     3     3     1   Bring lots of money they really run up the bill and you get very little in return. They want you to keep bringing the animal back for more tests and more money. RID: 20647
Click to report rating    3/4/09   1     4     4     2   I took my dog in for a routine physical, and I wasn't impressed with Dr. Sutton. She didn't spend any time petting, talking to, or giving my dog treats. I got the impression that she did not like animals at all. The other vet there, Dr. Pfarr, will spend a few minutes meeting my dog and petting them and feeding them treats so that they become more relaxed. Dr. Sutton didn't interact with my dog at all, except to yell at her for wiggling around. Dogs tend to get nervous when a stranger walks up to them and starts poking and proding at their body. I was really upset by the way she treated my dog. It was her first time ever going to a vet, so she was really scared of what was happening, and the rude attitude of the vet did not help. I think it's time for me to switch vets. RID: 11963
