AMC does a great job! I have found Dr Gibson to be nothing but professional and extrememly knowledgable, as she is one of the emergency vets. Yes, their prices are higher but they are a 24 hour clinic. They have also recently remodeled the clinic and have state of the art digital xrays and ultrasound. I am sorry if this owner had a bad experience, but Dr Gibson and all of the other vets at AMC do a great job with all of my animals! My dogs board there and get all of their yearly shots.. I have NEVER had a bad experience in the past 8 years I have been taking my pets there, whether on emergency or for an appointment and they saved 2 of my dogs. As a regular client, it sounds like this client just wants to bad mouth Dr Gibson and AMC

will not be returning to this vet. I was shocked at the level of incompetence of the staff (particularly Suzanne Gibson). We were discussing elective procedures which related to our breed and she was not only unaware of common issues to our breed (which we were not upset by) but was also unaware of many of the risks and side-effects of these procedures, and when we mentioned them she laughed and told us we were wrong (however we have multitudes of scholarly articles and current research which says otherwise). The facility also was unable to use less invasive and more recent methods that are safer and more effective, making us unwilling to allow them to operate on our dog if we did choose to do the procedure.
We were overcharged (we were quoted the wrong price and then charged much more than what other offices in the area charge), taken to a room with **** on the floor, and found that they were completely out-dated. We will be taking our pets elsewhere!
