I have been taking my two furbabies into Dr. Dhot's clinic for a couple of years. He is very compassionate and clearly cares. His reception staff are not "vet assistants" more receptionists so they often cannot answer basic questions on care & refer to Dr. Dhot. From a financial point, extremely well priced compared to other clinics, and I never feel like the lower pricing reflects on the care. Great Doctor for your furbabies!!

I had an exceptionally negative experience here and I regret bringing my dog to this clinic. Dr Dhot found a malignant tumor that two other Vets had been unable to find, so in that respect, he was competent. Dr Dhot advised it removed immediately and performed surgery the next day. Post surgery my dog was incredibly uncomfortable and was oozing blood and puss from the surgical site for a week before he also started leaking fecal matter. I took my dog back and Dr Dhot said another surgery had to be done that day as he thought my dog had tore his internal stitches. Again, there was no improvement in my dog whatsoever. He continued to be in discomfort and oozed blood, puss and fecal matter. At this point I demanded a referral to a Soft- Tissue Surgeon & Oncologist in Langley (who did a fantastic job correcting my dogs surgery). Overall, my dog spent a month in unnecessary discomfort due to these two surgeries that should have initially been done at the hands of a Soft-Tissue Surgeon.

Dr Dhot and all the staff have all gone above and beyond for me and my animals they charged me half of what the vet a block away quoted me and anytime I needed assistance they have gone out of their way to help me at no extra charge I would recommend this vet to anyone they are by far the best value for the lowest price they are super friendly and I will be taking my pets here for a long time to come. :)

I absolutley love this vet! He loves animals, easy going and easy to see him on the same day. They have very cheap rates and great service its just that sadly the receptionists dont know too much but they do try to find the answer for you asap! Whoever is looking for a vet go to this one you wont be dissointed!!,

The people who answer the phone can never answer your questions, even simple ones like when is my dog due to come in again. The prices might be low but thats becuase they reflect the quality of care. I would rather pay the 'going' rate and have confidence in the staff than have doubts in the care my animal receives.

I love that they care about the animals, Their cages are large as my dogs are not use to crates and they received the best care with great follow ups aftwards.

I am so glad that I have been able to find a great Vet! Dr. Dhot is very caring and his hours of business are great, I have had to see him a few times now for emergencies visit and I am always able to see him the same day, unlike my other vet... He is very compassionate and you can really tell he cares about animals, he does not try to sell you on things that are not necessary, his medicine approach is great, I would definitely recommend him to anyone that is looking for a great vet and that is very reasonable with his pricing

Really amazing vet & good staff,Vet explained to me in detail how he wanted to proceed with my really sick cat,what investigations he wants to do,his quotes were quite reasonable as compared to other place where i had gone(my regular vet),and amazingly final bill was less than actual quote very rarely u see that. I am happy with services and more important my cat is doing great.I strongly recommend.

i took my lab Mia to get spayed, the vet was really helpful and my dog recovered in a really short time, she didn't seem stressed or in pain. i think the vet did a great job. and as a plus it was 110$ cheaper then my vet!the office was clean. i'm recommending this vet to everybody that i know.

On the recommendation of a friend we have been taking our dog to Dr. Dhot for the past year. Dr. Dhot is great with our dog and is truly an animal lover and is also a kind and caring person! He also clearly explains to us all the options for the care and treatments of our dog.

Dr Dhot is very caring. I started seeing him about two years ago. I have two dogs so it can be quite expensive when things go wrong. Dr Dhot will give you a quote and tell you the approximate cost. He is a fantastic Vet and I will bring all my pets to him. I have also recommended him to many people. I used to get my food from the pet store but since his good quality vet food is around the same price, I get the food from him. And he is usually always available to talk to you about your concerns of your pet. After my 10 year old dog tooth removal, Dr Dhot called the next day to see how my dog was doing. Wow nice guy

i have three cats that go see dr Dhot.each one was given really good care and he takes his time to explain everything to you. I had to go in the back to get my cat and everything was VERY clean and all animals were in very clean cages with no animal smell.

Read "Tri City" reviews(this vet added 2x) What a joke. just moved to BC and needed a vet for my 2 cats. Great ratings for this one. Well the experience was retarded. My cat just had dental cleaning in California and there was an underlying infection so was on antiobiotics after. I was in to make sure that the antiobiotics were successful (just being an overly cautious mommy). the vet did not seem very knowledgable. he kept asking about the food i'm feeding him which had NOTHING to do with past problem (long story but the cat is only 2 and ended up with gingivitis as a prior infection as a kitten). my cat is on high end food and i brush his teeth but the vet kept trying to upsell me on his food! retard was making me mad. then he tried telling me he was due for yearly shots when it says on all his previous records that his rabies is a 3yr and he's not due for another year (records clearly stated the exact date)! what a tool. needless to say i am not going back..waste of time and money!

Dr.Dhot is an amazing compationate person! Our cat suddenly became extremely sick. He is a great animal lover and believes in trying to do everything possible for our furry family member. Money is not a problem for us, but Dr.Dhot is exceptionaly thoughtful of what he charges for. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone.

Dr. Doat is a very friendly, compassionate vet and also a very giving vet too. He let me have a payment plan cause I didn't have the $$ all at once. When you are given that chance, you don't wreck that chance. Paid in full and I know that if I was in that predicament again, he would offer it again. I trust him with my little guys! :)

Hidden costs? What we were quoted over the phone seemed outreal for a price for our little boys neuter, but they caught us off guard hiding other costs in there and ended up paying twice what we were quoted for the Neuter. theres no way what youre getting is the same quality as other vets if its that cheap. Think about it.
