I had liked this clinic and staff. However, I have a cat with advanced hyperthyroidism and he has been on medication for a few years. Expense at the vet have gone beyond thousands this year. I have needed time to take my cat in for his next appointmnet. When I said I couldn’t go in right away, the vet withheld his medication until I made an appointment. Highly unethical in my opinion.

I have been going to this vet for 4 years. My dog needed a pill call aquafill. This pill is for chronic allergies and itching. They will not update my dogs prescription without me making a appointment. They are in my opinion money grabbing greedy doctors. My dog is in great health besides, the allergies. They care more about filling their pockets with money than taking care of your animals. In my opinion.

I've been bringing my dog to Champlain Animal Hospital for five years and it's always been a positive experience. She's been seen by a number of different vets and they've all been very knowledgeable and professional.

I am having a hard time typing with my new guy draped across my left arm. Just brought him in for an initial check and I am glad I did as it was informative. My last guy unfortunately had a stroke and I rushed out there with no notice at 8 in the morning and he was was literally treated within a minute. It was horrible but the staff were as nice as I could imagine. They even sent a personalized grievance card which was super thoughtful. A+

The staff of Champlain Animal Hospital treat your pet as if it were one of their own. I am so thankful to have such a wonderful vet clinic in my area! I know that I can trust the doctors there to help me make the correct decisions about my pet's health.

In August of 2008 we had to find a 24 hour emergency vet at our cottage in Peterborough. Our 9 year lab was in serious distress. Dr. Brian Noble opened up his office for us at 11:30 at night and again at 2:45 am and attended to our dog quickly and in a very competent manner. She unfortunately was very ill(her Toronto Vet after many visits did not discover her illness). She had a cancerous tumour on her spleen that ruptured and she passed away suddenly at 3am. Dr. Noble was so very compassionate in a heart wrenching situation. I cannot say enough about him! Suffice it to say that we have just brought a new puppy into our lives and no longer use the well known vet in Toronto that our previous dog had been going to. Dr. Noble is the vet for us!
