Excellent Clinic. Dr. Slater has looked after my dog, since he was born almost 14 years ago. A very intelligent veterinarian and tells you straight up of your pets health. We recently had to have our dog put down, and Dr. Slater and his staff were very compassionate and made the process much easier to handle. The costs for his services is very reasonable. Highly recommended.

Very difficult to find a kind, honest, reasonable vet in the Kingston area. There seems to be a network of clinics working together to control the pricing. So every patient is charged the most outrageous fees. After much searching I found Collins Bay Veterinarian. I was devistated when my beautiful Great Dane was in heart failure. These people were kind considerate & honest. Gave me the time I needed to accept & deal with issue. No pressure. Definitely recommend this clinic.

Bad experience. Dr Slater have shots to our dog after telling us she may have cancer, after when questioned said 'you brought her in for shots , that's what I did '. Seems only in it for money

Thanks for the loving care our dog Parker recently received at the Collins Bay Animal Hospital. His recommended surgery went particularly well and it appears that his cancer cells were removed. Thanks to this great care Parker received, we will all enjoy the summer ahead with our 'best friend'.

Excellent care. Looked after and referred my elderly cat when Dr. Slater thought there were issues that could not be dealt with here in Kingston. Always honest and caring. Would not go anywhere else.

The staff here are excellent. Barry Slater is a very caring man who will give you honest answers. Prices are very fair. Highly recommended!

The doctors and staff at this hospital are wonderful! They are kind and honest at the same time. They have great skill and are always taking the time to read up on new treatments. They care about the animals most of all. They go out of their way to accommodate the needs of both patient and animal. Have never had better care.

I have had nothing but positive experiences with this vet for the many years I have taken my pets there. All of the staff are helpful, warm and personable, and Dr. Slater is honest, frank and extremely accommodating. No complaints.

This Vet would rather send you to the new emergency clinic then deal with an emergency.
